Why do you gamble?

Why do you do not invest that money instead?
Why you do not donate them?

Because you are bored?
Because you are looking for entertainment?
Because you are going after the big score?

Why?

I gamble as returns in it can be higher and there is adrenaline rush attached to its unpredictability. Also, I got into it through a bunch of friends to kill time and have fun. At that time , I started with playing a lil at home with friends which soon got me into visiting casinos at time and trying my chances to win good. It is also entertaining to watch the games and all the emotions attached with it.

I now gamble , mostly with crypto to win gains and make side money. But I got into gambling, starting with card games like Rummy & poker for the fun and the card games itself were good to pass time with friends & family. The blinds were low , sometimes not even there but we continued playing as we liked the game and excitement during rare card draws or moves.

When I read arguments and points in this thread or subject, I ask myself to put money into a form of investment gambling? Since we essentially risk gambling by betting, we earn in gambling when we're lucky, on the other hand we gamble our funds trading or investing in a crypto, and we also earn money in trading. So why am I playing? And I see it as an opportunity in which I might be able to make money.

You are right. The real reason why we gamble is that we want to make money, and although we are trading, we still playing with gambling. But maybe the percentage of the bet is not too high because as long as we can analyze in trading, we know what we need to do, and is not blind trading. But not all people will have the same reason as us, and I think some people have the reason for playing gambling is because to enjoy the games in their free time.

My parents raised me as someone that should never hold or have anything about gambling. Though I learned to gamble our of curiosity, I am not that addicted to it since I know that consequence that I will go through if I get addicted to it. It should just be that, it should just be about the entertainment and the enjoyment to it, not the money we can get from it.

The main reasons why we gamble is because someone influenced us to play, also, if we noticed a fair system that will utilize our money easily, why not to try it. For me, I just see the ads of some games and I get so curious to the game that's why I try to play it even with a small amount of money.

so basically more of entertainment purposes only if you are playing your extra money. but at some point, we are aiming to hit some jackpot. but if not, thats fine. no hard feelings! if you are into gambling, i dont believe that you are just for fun alone, you have your inner self saying that hopefully, you can hit it big.

Nice, it might be said you will start gambling when there is a curiosity about certain gambling games or maybe because there is an interesting bonus given. There are many other factors besides the main focus is looking for profit, because gambling does not always require us to pursue victory and profit because in any game we can enjoy as long as it does not make us suffer and regret at the end.

Different people have different reasons why they are gambling. The worst reason why they are gambling because they see it as a source of income :X.

I don't gamble too much because I don't see any reason to spend some money there. I only gamble when I feel that I want too and I gamble once or twice every 2 weeks . For fun?? There are other ways to be enjoyed like playing online games since I consider myself as a gamer . Jackpot?? I don't expect that I will win the jackpot so I'd rather not spend my money on gambling. To answer this question one should understand that games are meant to be played and meant to provide entertainment to the people. Gambling on the other hand is a way to test your luck and to risk your money. Combining it together, you are testing your luck, risking amounts of money and at the same time, being entertained by playing which is considerably serves as a good feeling to make our mood better, and that is why we gamble.

Nice to see that people are using gambling just for fun but to be honest I am using gaming to make money and to become rich.  But try to keep limit in gambling as people mostly say that gambling pills you towards addictions and it’s not good to get addicted to gambling but there are chances to get rich and make money with limited investments
