Just a word of advice : most users don't like the word "sir" being used around here. It's commonly associated with scammers / spammers and it really doesn't do anything regarding whenever someone decides to help you. You'll get the same amount of help if you drop the "sir" part within your sentences

Great list this week--I was just able to unload a whole bunch of merits and was actually relieved to do so.  This month I've kind of been slacking as far as my merit source job goes, because I haven't been doing as much reading or posting as I normally do.  Real life gets in the way some times, you know?

So from one merit source to another (if I'm not mistaken), I thank you again DdmrDdmr for giving me targets for the merit shooting.

I know that I've also been your target in the last few month, but I don't think so this month because of the 50 merit limit per month (if I'm not mistaken). I can only thank you for your help in terms of merit so far because it will never be easy to be a merit source  like you when we have to manage time between real life and this forum. Sometime real life prevent us from staying active on the forum to post or do something else, but this shouldn't be an excuse not to contribute anything when we get back. Stay safe The Pharmacist.

That's surprising, since your English is excellent.  I haven't merited many (or any) of your posts before, and that's probably because I have a lot of sections on ignore and if I'm not mistaken when I looked at your post history, you made a lot of posts in those sections.  And a lot of the merits I just gave out in the last few hours were in the altcoin section.  I noticed that there don't seem to be a lot of merit-givers around those parts, because there were some pretty good discussions going on but very few posts received merits.

I know that I've also been your target in the last few month, but I don't think so this month because of the 50 merit limit per month (if I'm not mistaken).

I'll take a look at your post history after I finish writing this, because I think I ought to be able to give you at least a few merits right now (and I'm assuming you've made some merit-worthy posts since last time I looked).  And you don't have to thank me; it's my pleasure.

Also, to the two of you: Don't give me merits!!!  I know you're thanking me, but just pay those sMerits forward and help out someone who needs to rank up.  I appreciate the gesture though.

Edit: Ah, BITCOIN4X I just hit the 50 merit/month limit again with you.  I was able to give you a few, but I have no idea when I can give you more since it's some kind of rolling limit.

I'm surprised to see I've got 50 merits in a single day, I thought that was a bug I still lack both of activity and merit to the next rank, at least 7 months more to qualify the activity. To be honest I never thought I could achieve the highest rank when I was once a Member, because it's really really far... but now, it seems possible.

I got surprised too when I connected my device with the internet and received notification about merits from the telegram bot. I have received 23 merits today. 19 merits from you (The Pharmacist) and 4 merits from other two users in gambling section. I mostly stay active in gambling section and it isn't easy to receive merits there (not even with the informative & qualitative posts). And this is the first time for me to get targeted by a merit source in Bitcointalk forum. Perhaps, I wouldn't have received merits from you if DdmrDdmr hasn't included me in this “Ranking-up pipeline”.

You will achieve the minimum activity requirements of legendary members within next 3 weeks. Probably it won't take 7 months to reach the legendary rank if you can fulfil the merit requirements soon.

I've discussed this feeling in the past with another user and I think it's something that goes unnoticed to some (if not a big part) of the users here. I'm referring to the fact that there is more to being a "merit source" other than being able to distribute merits higher than average. I think that most users who are appointed/chosen to be merit sources actually have an increase in responsibility and "pressure" regarding both using the merits they have but also the fact that they have (or should) employ them in users who actually provide organic growth to the forum. This isn't something new per se, but it implies that you'll have to spend more time than most of us here to actually maximize those criteria in a balanced way. I think that was specially difficult in the beginning of the Merit system since there wasn't many merit sources and the few that existed had to really make sure they were using the merit system correctly so not to distrust it, so actually get glad whenever I see some member being a merit source as it directly implies that other merit sources will have another user who will help them out on the merit distribution.

Perhaps more on topic -> Good job on your continuous work DdmrDdmr and congrats on those who've just achieved enough merits to advance to the next rank!

Although I know it's not much, but it will really motivate me to develop better in this forum. I am very optimistic to at least try to do my best to contribute, even when people intimidate my efforts with harsh words. I got him part of the way there. Unfortunately, I am limited as to how many merit I can send. I sent him the balance of my source merit, and most of my personal sMerit. Hopefully others will help him get over the edge soon.

I just woke up and am too lazy right now to un-ignore the sections I usually do when I review post histories, but I just gave him some merits for a few of the posts I was able to view, most of which were older (but that's OK).  Later today, when I'm more awake, I'll probably take a look at his full post history again and see if I can help him out some more, because it does appear that he's a pretty decent contributing member whose posts I've obviously overlooked.
