The distribution of merit is highly dependent on the quality of user post. In my opinion there are some board that are somewhat overlooked by merit source and one of them is the gambling board. I think the main reason is the quality of the post and this is also the case in altcoin discussion where both board have quite a lot of low quality post. Some users can still get merit on these two board, but I believe it is a quality poster with good skills in understanding gambling and the intricacies of problem in gambling.

Thank you for your support. In fact, I actively write in the Turkish local section together with the gambling section. But the number of active users in the Turkish section has decreased a lot recently. So the progress of many like me has slowed down

For some reason I don't always catch this thread every time it's updated, and I probably should bookmark it.  Last week's list was kinda meh, but between that one and this week's I was able to unload a ton of merits--so thanks once again, DdmrDdmr.  This month I've been having the feeling that my merit-sending has been lacking; I've still got over 200 personal sMerits that haven't been touched in quite a while, and it seems like forever since I've run so low on overall sMerits that I've had to ask for more.

Also, for those of you who have taken me up on my offer of a monthly post history review, feel free to keep doing so as long as you haven't hit Legendary.  I'm not guaranteeing any merits, but usually I can find something in a member's post history that's merit-worthy.

I made a mistake in my example.. sorry..  I have now fixed my post to correct the mistake.

I meant to write 16 for the amount in the source smerit and then 16 would be how there is a total of 221 smerits and 16 of them are source smerits and 205 are in the regular bank of smerits.

Then when calculating, you used this " (205 + 16)". If there is a mixed up between 31 and 16, I clearly understood. But if the 16 emanated from somewhere else, I need more light. Thanks

Definitely its a typo and you are right it should be "205 + 31"   (31 are the source merits which will be replenished after 30 days and 205 are the sendable merit (sMerit)).

KingsDen, I just want to chime in (late, as I didn't see your reply) and say that JayJuanGee is correct; merit sources are able to see on the screen that pops up when you're sending merits how many source sMerits you have and how many earned ones.

If it wasn't clear--I just got up and my reading comprehension is a little dull--when a merit source sends merits, their source sMerits are used up first and only after those are depleted completely are the earned ones used.  My guess is that a lot of merit sources have a ton of sMerits in reserve as a result of this, and IMO that's how it should be.  I think I've pleaded with Theymos twice for an increase in my allocation, and now it's all good and balanced on my end.

Good to know, that's how it ought to be. You need not lack smerit because you really do alot in allocating merits, especially to worthy lower ranking members.
