I think gambling is the best way to spend money. You can gamble for two reasons.

1. If you have a lot of money, go gambling to reduce them.

Why go gambling just to reduce money? Why don't you purchase something and/or give it to the people who need it the most. Like food, clothes, and etc. Or why don't you donate it to the charities, right? Sometimes you don't have to play it along just with a purpose of reducing it. You have to think bigger than this, and I know we are better than with these thoughts.

2. And if you have too little money, go gambling to increase them.

Well, this seems obvious because majority of average gamblers are gambling with a hope of having a profit in return.

So anything can happen in gambling. So should not go gambling with any hope.

Definitely, but I don't think we could gamble without any hope lol   . Everyone are gambling we an ambitions behind. Just like what you stated for example your first example. Such situation has a hope of reducing money though sound ridiculous but it is binded with hope. And we cannot go gamble without it.

Many starts with a dream of becoming quickly rich in gambling and later might realise how easy or difficult it is to make money from it . Those who just play for fun and enjoy it and incase win consider it as a good luck and move on are the ones who are most happy .

I LOLed at this. Doesn't matter how much money you have, you're going to lose it playing. You lose more than you gain.

Now if you are thinking of this as some sort of hidden tax, it already is, though more a tax on the poor and stupid who play lottery and the other cheaper gambling games. The truly rich don't waste away their money so it really is the upper middle class that's in the casinos.

I think the Gulf states got something right. It being illegal in their religion, they don't allow their citizens to gamble but some of these countries still operate casinos for tourists. Maybe people can be required documents to prove they have enough money to gamble. Maybe some limit as well, like how bars are required by law to only sell patrons a certain amount of alcohol.

If you really want to have just fun, gambling is an excellent way to entertain yourself. Honestly, the more you want to earn money in gambling is the more you lose your capital, this happens to me a lot of times. When I want something to buy. I gamble my money to get it quickly then, I will just lose all of the money that I have. So now, I am just gambling for fun and for entertainment if I win it's all good and if I lose it's all good too. Its somewhat confusing but I will assume that you are in the middle of it and just giving advice on both sides of it.

1. If you have lot of money, instead of gambling them why don't you just invest it into other forms of investments like stocks or even in crypto. A non-addicted gambler can think of investing it into other investments than investing it again into gambling.

2. If you have little money, instead of using it to gambling find another way to increase it. Yeah gambling can increase your money but the risks of losing it is high too so it is better if you will increase it in the long term. Invest it into other investments and at the same time, finding another sources of income

There's really no guarantee of increasing or decreasing your money in gambling. You might lose or either win but there's no assurance of gaining a good profit. If you'll rely on gambling just to make money, you might lose bigger which could make you feel regretful of things in the future. Gambling is actually made for entertainment and not for us to make it as a source of income.

You can do that because it's your own money but I will tell you based on my experience that it's better to treat gambling as a way to entertain ourselves.

When we treat it as an entertainment, it doesn't mean that we will allow ourselves to just lose every time, still the entertainment is more satisfying if we win, but we have to accept the fact that gamblers loses most of the time and treating it as a way to make money is just a hard mission with low percentage of success.

That's why you expectation should always be put aside whenever you're gambling thus you won't be dissapointed and your emotion wouldn't interfere in terms of your decision making. Gambling is not a place for pity people who are urging to gain profit. Exactly. Most of the time I'm not hoping anything. I just want the fun. I deposit just a small amount that I won't mind losing. Even if I profit, the amount won't be big most of the time. There are times when I was lucky though, doubling my deposit when I had a lucky streak but there are also times when I busted my deposit. It's all part of the activities. One thing for sure, I had fun with it.

The OP's view is completely wrong.

A person who has a lot of money need not gamble at all. They may consider gambling as a sin and abhor the practice altogether. This is pretty normal because only a person who has self-discipline will be able to make a lot of money. A gambler rarely because rich because a real gambler will always waste money while a person whom you see as Pro-gambler is actually a con acting to be a gamble but is actually paid by the casino.

Secondly playing does not necessarily mean you would win money. It could be a loss so why even think about gambling to increase money?

Good advice, but I am not confident with addicted gamblers that they can manage this type of financial controls. Managing your money for gambling was too difficult when a person cannot control himself over habitual betting. I think it's a daily struggle to face everyday.
