Looks like it's another case of fake and misleading news, cause I don't get any confirmations from Ukrainian sources, and the articles themselves don't lead to any sources.

In preparing the bill, Ukrainian lawmakers reportedly collaborated with European Union (EU)-funded crypto experts. Ukraine’s government will also be hoping that the adoption of the new laws will aid its quest in securing up to €500 million in financial assistance from the (EU).

And where all that money will go? If it's approved, we'll see.

Hopefully, they will donate some to bitcoinist so they can hire a real writer for their garbage articles.

Any win for us right now is a big win, the Cryptocurrency market is just swinging wildly and not in a favourable way, it would add a couple billion $ and lose X3 that the next day, if Cryptocurrency payments are legal in Ukraine, then our dream of worldwide adoption is getting closer, more and more countries would be jumping on the bandwagon and gradually, Cryptocurrencies would reach it's full potential as everyone in the world would be using it as a payment method, one country at a time.

They still need to develop and improve more aspects in propagating their cryptocurrency. Bitcoin took a lot of processes in order to achieve their goals and standards. Ukraine needs to reach those standards for their crypto to become a reliable cryptocurrency.

It is, in fact, a road to the development of the world if not just Ukraine will start to legalize bitcoin and another cryptocurrency. Because technology is for the people and people should not see technology as a hindrance to the development of their currency. Though, I am not aware of the news because, from the application that I am using, there isn't any news concerning this. But for me, what matters the most is when people do start believing in cryptocurrency because this belief will make the cryptocurrency even better through adoption that usually leads to greater market price of various cryptocurrency.

@Hatshepsut93, you have every reason to doubt the article because most of the articles writer of these days just want to gain more traffic, make name and earn some money but have done an in-depth search and i find out that this article seems to be real because the Ukrainian government are truly working towards the legalization of crypto currency but I don't know when it will real happen.

No matter how small a country is, as long as a certain country is adopting cryptocurrency it is indeed a good news for us. We will achieve mass adoption. If this leads to a good result, then the government of Ukraine might strengthen cryptocurrency in their country and of course other countries will follow this adoption. It might take a bit longer to fully achieve this one, but as long as this kind of news continue, it's a step for what we are aiming.

I have read this news some time ago about the question of President Zelensky cryoto being the main thing, They want and plan in the year 2021 to conduct plementation and the country's policy on crypto will be a happy discourse for the people of Ukraine.
I think this happened because many of their governments and many local officials were involved in the development of the blockchain in Ukraine.

double checked , there is no such law that passed through the parliament
although Zelensky is a new leader that is pro-technology and he is trying to build quote " a state in a smartphone" whatever you take from it
he is far from being pictured a crypto enthusiast , maybe heard about bitcoin but definitely never shown his affinity towards it
in regards to the blockchain usage ,yes there are several projects that are being discussed but nothing that is implemented
Ukraine has a few bitcoin exchanges like Kuna , but being a corrupt state I doubt that many companies or banks would love the blockchain implementation
since it would be way harder to do underhand business

This is a positive news for 2020. I hope everything will be on the right track so that it pushes the market to have trend reversal. As we now, it is hard for the market to goes up.
