MPC means more verifications and  approval are needed which might one of sacrifices service strengths.

MPC for an exchange means that the key used to sign transaction is computed from relevant shares stored on different servers which operate independently from one another but still belong to the same company. It’s much harder to compromise all of those servers at once than the single server. As for the speed of approvals, nothing would change significantly as all the computation required to construct the key happens within milliseconds.

I use gift card platforms to spend some of my crypto, but honestly the main thing I look for is instant delivery and that I don’t need to jump through hoops like KYC for small purchases. Some places have good selection but can be tricky with region locks or slow delivery. I’m mostly after Amazon, food delivery cards, and sometimes gaming, and I like switching providers if one site seems to have fees or slow payouts.

I’ve tried https://aceb.com because it’s quick with crypto, covers tons of countries, and every card I’ve tried landed in my inbox right after payment. Might be useful if you want more options or a different experience compared to the usual ones in this thread.

The ones that I have used till now all have instant delivery. I am not sure which ones who are using that have "delayed delivery" because that is a deal breaker in today's fast paced world. Added to the fact is that many gift cards are often bought by users on the spot while at the marketplace physically after they estimate their shopping spend and not pre-bought before leaving home.

I use Bitrefill and Coinsbee, regularly for your information.

Instant delivery is the standard but if you're using something like Bitcoin, you might need to wait a certain amount of confirmations before receiving your giftcard. Using the lightning network (when supported) is a good alternative. Either that, or you can switch to a fast cheap L2 like Arbitrum and Polygon and simply pay with stablecoins.

Bitrefill is great. KYC is required after certain limits but if you're going to stick with small purchases, you're fine.

Bitrefill can't be that great when they recently got hacked, and that resulted in leak of personal information from their customers.
Anyone who ordered their card and received it on home address should consider his personal information is now compromised.
Over 18,500 customer records got exposed and they just blame it on North Koreans  Tongue

Yes they did get hacked, and so did multiple other sites over the last 15years and led to the same info getting leaked over and over.

That is not how it works, these cards get delivered online and you can redeem the codes online as well. I dont use the VISA card that they have because I live in one of those countries that is considered poor.

You can never know what it true here. But the choice is yours whether you want to use it or not.

This is my first time dealing with Bitrefill's refunds.

I got given an amount, I copy pasted it. I sent it, it said I over paid (and they didn't deliver the top up either) and I can ask for a refund. I try to do that, it says refunds are paused for a split second, then redirects me back to the login page.

The order was made using an email only (that's linked to an account of mine) but I was not logged in. So I try to login... the 2FA is not accepted (my computer's clock is fine).

I try to make a second payment... same thing. Overpaid when it's the exact same amount they requested.

The status page (https://www.bitrefill.com/service/?hl=en) is not showing anything abnormal.

I did send a support ticket, but just want to know if other people are facing the same issue. It's worth mentioning that I have used SOL for the payment (first time I ever use that).

Update on the above:

I continued and tried to do more payments using BTC and USDT. Both were detected as overpaid when they were not.

The support replied back and gave me a link (that worked) to get my refund (processed automatically) and also told me that this was a "Supplier" issue. Not sure if it affects all mobile topups or just a few but keep it in mind. Strange how they haven't addressed this on their X page.
