I've done that bet (and it's already lost haha), to be honest not exactly my kind of parlay (I do like Monaco and Sevilla match ups though) but I very seldom bet on Bayern outside of UCL as the Bundesliga for me is where good upsets happen with loads of goals, but once the favourite scores, that's it for the underdog.
Screenshot's just so that an actual forum member wins I guess. And they can prove the account is linked to them. Makes sense to me if it's a Bitcointalk-only promo.
Good luck! $20 (or rather, $17 haha).

Steve only got 2 out of those 4 games correct with Sevilla winning in the 93rd minute today. I skipped this promo, didn't like some of the selections, especially the Chelsea pick. Those that took part should receive a free bet tomorrow i suppose. Let's see if he picks better teams next week.

Hi Guys!
Post your success stories here and win a trip to Watford to spend the day on us at the Leicester game, March 14
Ill go first:
One day I was betting on the horses in Asia.. I was having a number 3 day as I don't know too much about them, I just like having a bet.
Number 3 for the upcoming was was 44.00/1 so I put 10 on it. The field was quite big, so there was a lot of big odds and no real favorite.
Just before the race started, my horse blew out to 99.70/1 due to money being spent on other runners.. those who bet horses or tote betting would understand what I mean.
My horse jumped out and lead from start to finish... meaning I ended up collecting 997.00 for my 10er investment!
Talk about a great afternoon!! what fun Smiley
regards,
Steve.

Ok, I will give it a try. I am however unable to attend the game due to other obligations but I'll share the story anyway. @Steve Feel free to skip me when considering the winner for the trip
This happened a long time ago when I first started betting in online bookies. In order for me to share my story I first have to introduce you to my way of betting. It has stayed the same thought last 15 years.
First I start by selecting all the pairs on that given day that are interesting to me or I judge them to have a value (bookies missed the odds). I put them all on a single ticket and place some minimal bet on it. Maybe 0.5 EUR or even less. There can be from 5 (slow day) to 20 (Saturday) pairs on this ticket. After that I keep max 6 pairs I judge most likely to win and put a small-medium bet on it. Here we are talking about maybe 5-10 EUR depending on my bank, odds, feeling... After that I keep just 2 or 3 pairs and play that for high stake. The amount here can be from 50-1000EUR, depending mostly on my bank at the moment. I am counting on this last ticket to keep me in the green zone when I crunch all the numbers come year end. This ticket thankfully passes often while the 6 pairs one passes maybe 2 times a month. While that first ticket passed just once in my life. Here starts the story...
It was Friday about 15 years ago and I selected a bunch (maybe 15) pairs from usual Friday offer. Meaning a lot of both to score markets on Dutch 2 league, some upsets in French 2nd league plus some other sports like tennis and hockey. Tu cut the story short all my pairs from first ticket passed, meaning I won all three tickets that day. My stake was about 300EUR and I ended the day with combined wins of about 4000EUR. My lowest ticket has won me around 2800EUR on stake of 38cents. While my high stake ticket had stake of about 270 EUR and won me around 900 EUR. I immediately cashed out 2000EUR and bought myself a beast of gaming machine. Here ends my success story.
The other 2000EUR I lost the very next day. It was an expansive lesson which made me learn a lot about proper bank management and not trying to pull yourself in the green after your first high stake ticket flops.

In 2013 I bought a Euro Millions lottery lucky dip ticket which was literally £2. The jackpot was a multi rollover due to several weeks of nobody winning the jackpot. The jackpot was £85,000,000, to win the jackpot you need to get all 5 numbers correct plus the 2 lucky stars.
Any way I checked my ticket & I had 4 numbers & the 2 lucky stars. When I was reading the ticket I saw all the numbers & I was convinced I had won the £85,000,000 for a few seconds. It turns out I only won £3,500.
If I had 5 numbers & 1 lucky star it would have been £200,000 but no, I got the shittier deal with 4 numbers & 2 stars.
The 1 number I missed to win the jackpot was number 23 & the number I had was fucking 24 so yeah, I will forever remember being 1 number away from £85,000,000.

great contest, like @Trofo i can not make the trip so dont consider this as an 'entry'. (Not opposed to any other prizes however ) This is about 5-6 years back, and i used to bet csgo/dota skins on Esports. (there were plenty sites where u can bet csgo/dota ingame 'cosmetics' and it used to be HUGE around that time. they had a $ value, and you could either sell them for money or use in the games, so kindof double incentives if u win) Along with all this, there were sites for pure degen gamblers(like me). basically u would put your skins in a round pot and so would other players. everyone will get a win chance % according to the total pot value/your entered skins value, and a winner would be selected. So one time i stayed awake all night betting on dota 2 games. was up like 2,000 usd. in the morning i thought fuck it lets gamble 1,000 on the second site. I entered a pot and was the highest win % untill the last second someone tried to snipe me( this was common, if a pot value is 1-2k ish someone would put like 10k at the end to try to snipe that). so someone entered like 10k to snipe me and guess what ? i won lmao. At that time there was a very very expensive and amazing looking csgo skin called 'Dragon lore'. i won that and had alot of fun playing with it in game.Everyone would see it and try to kill me to get that skin and in the mic they would ask how i got it. And ofcourse, i lost the rest of the winnings , but i sold the dragon lore to buy a gaming pc, that i still use till now. I havent had that kindof night/morning ever again, but it felt awesome and top of the world. Anyways, that was my 'Big' success story, pure luck and degeneracy paying out. Its a hard life eh ?

Nice stories guys, keep it up. I've been into sports betting for many years now, but i've never had any crazy winnings or huge odd accumulators worth mentioning here. I guess i'm too strict on my bankroll and the way i bet. Very recently, however, in early February, i was extremely close to winning 0.5 BTC from Sportsbet's promo for Super Bowl. The prize pool Sportsbet had was a total of 1.5 BTC (1st place 0.5, 2nd 0.4 3rd 0.2 and so on). The winner had 13 (out of 15) correct picks, those of you who have participated before know how difficult it is to reach such a figure. I finished with 11, winning 50mBtc with 2 of my predictions being failed indirectly by a spectacular throw by Patrick Mahomes less than 7 minutes before the end of the game. I'm not gonna lie i thought i was gonna win, worst-case scenario finish second. Everything in that game was going my way, the tie-breaker rule the promo had was also in my favor as i subbed my predictions almost immediately. But then the "2-3 Jet Chip Wasp" happened on a 3rd and 15. It wasn't a scoring play, but it was a turning point, a throw that ultimately helped Chiefs complete a late 4th quarter comeback and win their first Super Bowl in 50 years. I don't think i'll ever forget that play. So this is my biggest win that didn't happen, i was so very close though.
I would also like to disqualify myself from consideration. My work schedule won't allow me to make it. Good luck everyone!

Despite preferring betting on sports then (football mostly), my favorite story would come from a Dog Race betting (There was a local outlet I usually visit to watch the dog racing and see people bet on them, and I had a note book which I record the odds, name of Dogs and the eventual outcome, all with the hope that some day, the bet same race would repeat and I will bet big on the triple, double (as we call it) or quinella which means predicting the exact 3 dogs to finish 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd in the specific order for triple/double or in any order for quinella. After several days of writing jotting the races outcomes, I never saw anything similar to what I had written and the it came to an extent that I don't even get enough time to got through everything I had written down before yje race would commence so I just kept skipping each race, I got fed up and ditched the jotter.
About 3days after I ditched my jotter, I placed a bet on triple and I won some money after few races went by, I placed another bet a tripple again with higher odds this time and I couldn't believe it when I won, I can't remember how much exactly it was that I won then, but then I remember vividly that I used the money to get my best smartphone as of then, a BlackBerry Bold 5 (9900), It was highly in vogue as of then and I became quite famous in the neighborhood.
PS: I'm not in for the prize, as I won't be available to travel.

Don't consider me for the prize as well, but I always like to read about betting dramas, so this is a very nice idea @sportsbet.io. Good luck everyone and may the winners have a great time in the BITCOIN Box This is my story, that I posted in another thread. What was your best bet ever ? This might be a little braggy, but I have talked about my worst loss before and this bet wasn’t my success, but the success of a friend of mine since it was “his” bet and I just joined it and we split the stakes and winnings afterwards. It was a bet for the womens single Badminton tournament at the London 2012 Olympics. The nations are only allowed to send a small contingent of players to all the competitions. China had 3 spots for the womens singles. They pre-nominated 3 players: Wang, Wang and Wang (yes, they all had the same name ). Now Chinese sports authorities always like to play some games and keep people and opponents in the dark what they are really up to. My friend knew, what only a few insiders knew, and that is, that China will send Wang, Wang and Li to this competition. You can make last minute changes and they planned to replace one of the Wang’s with Li, a 21 year-old upcoming superstar, who was already in Top10 in the world at that time iirc. My friend said, she is probably already the best player in the world (it takes some time to climb up the rankings) and likely to win the women singles in Badminton. So we checked the odds, but Li wasn’t available of course, because China had nominated 3x Wang. But some bookmakers always list the most promising and likely winners and put everyone else as “any other” option. The odds for outright winning market looked something like this: Athlete | Outright Odds | __________________ | __________________ | Wang1 | 2.50 | Wang2 | 4.50 | Player X | 5.00 | Wang3 | 6.00 | Player X | 8.00 | Player X | 8.00 | Player X | 10.00 | Player X | 12.00 | Any other | 61.00 |
This is like offering odds for La Liga Champions, putting Barca @ 1,80, then Atletico, Valencia etc. and including Real in any other for odds of 50+. This “any other” option offered tremendous value, since fair odds for Li would have been around 2.50 (same as Wang1 more or less). So we grabbed our money and played multiple times maximum bet on” any other” (you can repeat bets at some bookies, even though you make max bets all the time). You can't stake hundreds of thousands on such bets, but it was still more than we expected. We brought the odds down a bit, but everything above 2.50 was value, so we placed more bets. We discovered another bookie that offered the same odds and placed maximum bets there as well. In the end we had staked a pretty huge amount on average odds of around 40 for any other I would think. The tournament started and of course Li was nominated for China instead of Wang3. She had no problems disposing of her opponents and won every match with 2-0 sets and reached the final, where she would meet Wang1. During the whole tournament (it lasted for 10 days I think), we prayed that she doesn’t get injured or sick. For the final Wang1 was small favourite, with odds around 1.70. The match started and Li was dominant, edging out a healthy lead in the first set. That was the point, where we decided to hedge out a bit. In advance we already deposited lots of money into our Bet365 accounts, since we knew they would offer live-betting for this event. So we started to place some bets on Wang1, whose odds kept rising during the first set, which Li won 21-15. After that first set, we were already guaranteed a lot of money, no matter the outcome. Wang1 won the second set 23-21, but Li won the third set 21-17 and was crowned womens single Badminton winner in the London 2012 Olympics. Unfortunately Li had to retire from professional Badminton quite early due to some knee injuries, but she will be my Olympic heroine forever.

I also don't think I'll be able to make it due to potential Visa issues and scheduling :-/ Here's my story: A about a month ago, for Super Bowl LIV, a sportsbook that I was playing on offered an early payout if your team was up 15+ points at any time. I really wanted to pick a side because of the immense value, but didn't end up liking either side (I was leaning on Chiefs, but oh well). Half jokingly, I placed bets on 1st half Draw, HT/FT Draw/Draw and Yes to Overtime. The first half ended 10-10: Definitely my largest win in terms of odds; I usually bet stuff around 1.1-2.5 odds. Was a nice surprise that my half-meme bet won Sadly Chiefs won 31-20 FT so I didn't win my 101 odds HT/FT Draw/Draw or my 16 odds Yes OT, but can't complain about ~0.9 BTC profit

One of my memorable story was a few years back and surprisingly it was with sportsbet.
This was happened at the start of EURO 2016 I only had a couple dollars worth of btc on my account I eventually lost my bets but thanks to some luck my ticket was picked in their promotion and won 0.1 btc. After that I continued playing since the promotion is still going tried to earn as much tickets as possible every single day hoping to win one of the prizes at the end of the promotion I was able to win nearly $1,000.
When I first joined the promotion I wasn't expecting my ticket to be even picked because promotions are very rare back then and when there's a good promotion the whales are expected to win.
Same with me, please ignore my entry since I might also ran in to some visa problems.

This was unfortunately, nothing to do with gambling but I remember that when we were still in school, our English teacher who also happened to be a mathematics teacher teaching probability (not in our class but he liked to say a lot of links related), was teaching us about some funny stories about probability.
And suddenly, a really bright lightning came outside, we were next to a football field, with just a bare empty land and only 1 tree, it seemed the ligtning struck near the tree so it was so bright many of us including the teacher saw it.
Then he said, there was an english phrase saying Lightning never strikes twice. And then he said but it was just a saying,,, it was actually of course possible. And inf act the likelihood of it happening was higher than of any of us winning the lottery.
Then as soon as he said it. It happened again. And the whole class went crazy.
Hard to describe exactly but the way everything happened with so many witnesses:)

Cool stories so far, we should get a vote on each (I'd vote with merits if I had any!).
I actually don't really have super interesting stories but I'll share here anyway. AND not to compete, as I already had that lovely Doha trip, I'd love for someone else to experience Sportsbet hospitality (as if I'd win anyway heh). EPL VIP room in London though!!!
> > >
2016. Seeing English bookies offering all kinds of big bonuses for 1st-time player on boosted odds. Europa League with Klopp. Bet the max of a tenner on 3 different bookies with odds ranging from 8/1 to 15/1 on Liverpool. Winning all of them, betting all the bonus money again on Liverpool each time til the final. Split my money in 3, one on Sturridge to score first, one on Liverpool to win it all, and one to keep.
Lost a third as we lost in the final, but Sturridge scored, and I made several hundreds from just $30. Paid off my trip to Anfield, tix at the Kop for the first time to see us beat Villareal in the semis.
> > >
Oh and of course, predicting 23 goals in a night of European football because Jamie Carragher was my favourite Liverpool player of all time =D And fulfilling a dream of seeing Liverpool win a match and lift a trophy!

I have a small surgery on March 11th so no way for me to go if selected but I will share the story anyway. Great chance for people to see the PL game live, don't miss it if you can go. _______________________________________________________________________________ __________ It was 15 years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday. College times, where beer money is always stretched hard. Liverpool was about to play Olympiakos in CL group stage, last game, needed a 1-0 win or win with 2+ goal difference to progress. One of the tickets I played that day was a single bet on them winning the CL, I do not remember the placed amount but the winnings were 150 Euros - which was half of my monthly students salary at that time. I think odds must have been around 50 because my usual bets at that time were around 5-7 Euros and this was a shot in the dark so I must have placed a lower than usual amount. So, I sit to watch the game, Rivaldo free kick, Kirkland in no man's land. Liverpool needs 3 goals to progress. I take the ticket, shred it to 8 pieces, throw it in the trash and continue to watch the game. Liverpool turns it around, Pongolle 1-1 soon after the break, then Mellor for 2-1 moments after entering the game and finally the 'OOOH YOU BEAUTYYYY' Gerrard moment for 3-1. While I was watching the game my mom was eating oranges and throwing the remains in the trash can. They were early oranges, these that you cannot really peel off easily so there are pieces of orange that remain on the 'skin' - don't know the proper name for it. So, I search the little trash bin, find the 8 pieces of my ticket, all sticky and dirty from the orange juice. I tape it together and place it in a drawer. It looks horrible. Bayer, Juve and Chelsea were stressful but Liverpool was always either in lead or drawing. Ticket was safe in the desk. Fast forward to Istanbul, this time I am watching with friends. For some moronic reason, I do not defend the ticket - I guess the odds on Milan winning were just too small to do it. 1st minute, Maldini 1-0. 10 minutes before HT, Crespo 2-0. 45th minute, Crespo 3-0. I do not smoke but I'm watching with friends, remember? So, I take a lighter from the table, I light up the corner of the ticket. BUT - it is taped from the Olympiakos game - so it burns for a while, gets to the tape and the tape just melts and the ticket does not burn out. One corner is missing though. I am frustrated, take it, squish it in my hand and throw it out of the window. We continue to watch, Gerrard scores for 3-1. Minutes later, Šmicer, 3-2. I run out of the building, I hear yelling while I'm searching for the ticket. The window is a backyard one so I find the ticket, friend yells out of the window that it's a penalty for Liverpool and that Alonso is taking it. I remember being furious it isn't Gerrard, friend shouts from the window that Dida saved, I remember looking at the ticket thinking OH YOU MOTHER FUCKER when I hear screams GOOOALLL. I run upstairs, just in time to see the replay of Alonso putting in the rebound. So, Liverpool wins on penalties and the ticket at this point looks like something from a devastated building. I go to claim it the next day, the woman just looks at me and says 'Well, we had a few torn ones with Liverpool winning but this is next level. Congratulations.' I was lucky that the ticket number was fully visible so she paid me out without too many questions. Beer was good for a while, but ultimately the stress around it was huge

I actually put a bet on Trump back then I always try to leave emotions out when doing a bet and only looking at the value. And since for me the elections were 50/50 more or less, I decided to be a sinner and place the bet. Living in Europe, I followed the coverage until 3am and Clinton was leading. I thought, well I love to lose this bet. Waking up the next day, to my surprise, it was Trump who won and I felt divided. I won quite a good amount, but it felt strange of course. I often bet on cycling and there are some nasty crashes from time to time, where the cyclists get seriously injured. In the past I would take advantage of that and place live bets accordingly, but nowadays I refrain from doing that, since I find it immoral. A friend of mine placed a live bet against some cyclist who crashed in the Tour of Poland last year. That cyclist died and my friend still feels bad for placing that bet.

Loving the stories No big wins for me unfortunately, but no big losses fortunately! My first ever win was a long way back - the league cup final 1985 - Sunderland v Norwich. Feck me - a long time ago. We had a football tour in school and we played 2 matches against some local schools in London and then watched the league cup final at Wembley. We all put our final score picks in with the coach and he went to the bookies for us. Being rather young and rather short and being in a standing only area - we couldn’t see anything ! We spent the whole first half being jostled around and avoiding men having a piss! A few of us were also in need of a bathroom break and so cleverly we waited until half time ended and went to make it too the toilets. It took 30 mins to get back to our standing area !! We missed the only action of the game - a goal and a missed penalty ! The only positive was that I won a princely sum of £20 or so from the bookies. A very eventful day and fond memories - lol

Everyone know I love cricket so much and betting on that and I love to betting sometime almost impossible result. Steve must be know from my betting style. It was 2 years ago, Zim vs Afg match when I was mostly betting on Bet365. It was World Cup qualifying round match between Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan Zim made 196 runs and once Afg were 155/3 in 33 overs and Afg were required just 42 runs in 17 overs and they had 7 wickets in hand. Bet365 did offer the odds of 30 when 4th wicket fall in 34th overs, I don't remember why I did bet on that odd for 50$ but I did and match start changing from that over and at the end Afg were required 3 runs in last over and they had only last wicket left, Dawlat Zardan got out in 3rd ball of last over and zim won like unbelievable match from once it was looking impossible to win. I did won like 1500$ it wasn't even 1/5th of my biggest win but it was so satisfying because I did bet on almost impossible looking match on my instinct. That's my 1 of the cricket betting satisfying story. I have so many big losses stories too where I did lost big bet like once it was 99.99% winning bet but will tell that any other time. Here is scorecard of that match https://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-scores/19993/zim-vs-afg-7th-match-group-b-icc-world-cup-qualifiers-2018

Hmm, sad circumstances for sure, but calling such a bet "immoral" sounds a bit to harsh for me, because the bet had zero impact on the outcome of the event. But I get your point, that nevertheless you can't enjoy you winnings. Can remember exactly on an Friday evening around 7 years ago: I was about to participate at a garden party which is located a little bit abroad with no store nearby. Therefore I met me with 2 friends in the city beforehand to buy some stuff for the barbecue (and beer obviously). Afterwards on the way to the bus station a mate wanted to place a bet on Bundesliga matches spontaneously as we were passing by a betting kiosk. So we entered the shop, sat down to a table and he began to write his betting slip. While we were waiting for him to finish this, a random swearing guy came over and showed us his slip. He bet on 5 draws in football games, claimed to have 4 right predictions already and the score of the only left game in 50th minute is 3:0, but unfortunately as stated he predicted there a draw too. We politely declined his offer, because we didn't even know if he was telling the truth about the finished games. They seemed to be completely arbitrary chosen, can't recall the exact matchups but it was something like Nigerian league or second division of Japan teams I never heard before. Thereupon he proved us that the finished games in fact ended up in draws and literally begged us to buy the slip for 1€, the initial bet was one Euro too. At the end we were buying it regardless of the negligible chance of winning it, the odds seemed to be more than fair. Finally we to took a bus to the party, checked the result in ~70th minute, still a 3:0 hence we forgot about it. Several hours later someone checked the final result and yelled: "it ended 3:3, we won the 320€" We were kind of half-drunk already, so of course no one believed him for the moment and he was trolling anyway very often. But after he showed us his phone, we were convinced. The evening were very nice and much fun already, but this was a crowning moment for sure. My 2 friends and me shared the winnings equally, such that everyone got a little bit more than 105€ (what was huge at the age of 18/19).
