Trading is not the perfect place at the work, I tried many times to make a profit at work because market fluctuation cannot be estimated and this makes me lose money many times. It is impossible for us to predict which simultaneously, we cannot concentrate on the market, so it is good to place the orders only when we are free.

This is not really a surprise, trading is an activity that is incredibly hard and if you are trying to do it while at the same time you try to do something else then most likely you are not going to put enough attention to the markets and this will make you to commit mistakes that under ideal circumstances you will never make, while I understand the markets can move really fast and you will want to take action almost immediately at the same time it is better to wait until you get home to trade the markets.

you are right that trading at home and working is quite different, as in home you can trade very calmly and could focus on the trade but in working hours i felt like i am doing very disturbed trade, i have trade in office for once or twice because of less spare time and also we are not allowed, but i tried it which was worst.

Yes, it is more comfortable to trade at home, there will be no distraction and any hindrance , and probably can affect our trades, we need to choose the best trading location also, for us to focus on what we are doing, especially if we are doing a day trading, we can easily  be distracted by our boss or by workmates since we all have a work load or job order in our office when we do that, so best place to trade is at home.

You should master trading at home and practice all of your strategies inside your home because that is where you can think peacefully and there will be no pressure of any unrelated work or tasks from your boss. Strongly agree with you a place where we can do all our things with relaxation and concentrations is out home and for trading its important for you to be mentally relaxed. Working place sometimes does not allow to get access phone use that's why trading is not good to do at work place and if you think you will be easy to trade there then you can.

As you quoted because you do not spend maximum time on trading exchanges and within few minutes are able to check the prices of coins, your boss has no solid reason for snubbing you. If you are giving him good work, he has nothing to do with your other activities. I believe everyone involved in trading goes for peeping into trading exchanges once in a while at workplace in order not to skip any important event.

I guess the lack of attention is why it could be a bad idea. When you're just casual hitting buys and sells hoping to make money then it doesn't matter, but real trading takes a lot of focus and discipline that comes only when you're spending a lot of time in this field and learning this field. What I've heard from most people is that this fixation is very easy to break, which is why most people trade in their homes with proper desk setup in a clutter-free environment. Office will bring some nuisance of its own which could make your trade less effective in relation to your job

Short term trading could be done this way. But once you are into this field with all your energy, then it is required to maintain your focus just on trading and avoiding everything else. Office work could not be handled perfectly with trading. Trading is a long term process so I think that preferred method is to keep the two works separately.

well i think it is not a good idea to quit your job and only work for bitcoin or trading because i have once quit my job for trading and also at that time the bounty and the signature campaign was easily available so trading and campaign made so busy that i quit the job but some days came that there was nothing to do that is why again join the job.

It is good to hear that you have quit your job so that you can bring all your attention as well as put all your efforts in trading. This is common for everyone as trading is not easy to be handled along with any other job. You may lose your momentum when you trade in your work, it will lose your focus in trading, also in company they can easily track what you are doing with your pc even though they will not come to see what you are doing , it will affect your work when they caught you, and you get fired in your work also.

I do agree  with your points that for trading we need proper time and proper place other wise we will not be able to pay full attention towards trading. At work we remain worry about getting trap etc. So it’s hard and risky to manage trading but if you have facility of internet and your staff does not mind your access use of internet then you can trade but with a lot of care and with fresh mind.

To be honest, i never actually have done trading while doing my job or at work and on my work computer because i will be really get in trouble to my boss if that happens, but i experience doing trading if i am on a break time on my work computer because i am freely can do whatever i want if i am not in my working hours.

trade at work is definitely a big mistake.  Because no one can do 2 things at the same time, so your main job and trade will be greatly affected.  If you find yourself better at trading, just trade and stop doing official work.  or you want to do both things, you should trade only when you are free.  That is the secret to help you trade 50% better.

Why will you want to trade at work when you already know that you will not give 100% attention to your trading,  even during coffee break,  it's better to relax the mind after some stressful hours at work than to use such break in trading.

Trading on work computer is totally a bad idea in my opinion,  once you get addicted to it at work,  you keep on checking your portfolio movements and such activities will definitely affect your performance at work,  because your mind will be diversified and we all know trading is all about profit or loss,  you cannot win always,  when at loss, this will hinder your performance at work whenever you check your trade calls,  it's best to not trade at work in my opinion

I was trading from work before, I was essentially trading at home all day and at work I was watching price most of the times, but there were so many openings and if I didn't trade I would have to miss going to work. When I didn't trade there, I would have to leave work absolutely. Basically, after two days of trading I doubled my btc holdings at that time. I suppose either I've taken the next day off or it's been the weekend. I've been sleeping for more than 2 days. I traded from work  and nobody said anything because there was no rule against it and I was doing it.

That's not being fair to the company of whatever business type you are working, you are spending your work time for your personal agenda. haha.
actually I am also guilty with that in the past, but I don't do it many times, I stopped doing it when I realize that when trading we need to focus more and we can't do that at work since our job should be our main focus.

either your performance in trading would improve but your performance or output in your job should definitely decrease.
