Personally i also didn't like to expose my winning to all people, so to avoid those and might be there are other things, it's better to us to keep it for ourselves.

Not sure about your statement but if that's to encourage other people to gamble and try also some luck then there's two side of possible outcomes. You will be able to attract new aspirant to play since they've seen you succeeding and win big gains, while in the other side, it can harm someone due to encouragement the risk of thinking that gambling is an easy passage to earned it will lead to bankruptcy and addictions.

It is not your fault by any means because we know that gambling is based on luck and not at all times that you will get your luck. As a gambler, you should be ready for whatever will happen with your money. This is the reason why you should allot only your extra money in gambling. And as for me, I'd rather prefer to keep my winnings with myself or within my immediate family. If others will learn about your winnings, they will ask for a treat or share. But when you were losing, did they ask to share your losses?

If I saw someone win in gambling, it gives us curious about how it works. Not it looks encouraging but somehow it drags people to be in gambling and might also win. It probably you are right and gambling won't be worthy to encourage people to be it as it only be the owners who gains the benefits. But what makes sense when we are promoting gambling sites but deep inside we are also against it.

I prefer always to not talk about my big gains from gambling cause people can ruin that and make you lose them quickly. I just prefer to be calm and just telling only a few people, which they're so close to me to not get upset if they knows later. I literally won 2 BTC before from gambling and I didn't tell anyone before and keep it as a secret, then like after 3 months I told my close friends and family about that and it was really okay.
