After ten years and we still see people think Bitcoin will be over, I don't know how they are analyzing the situation I know OP is a newbie, but he should do a research and check if Bitcoin is really over

Bitcoin isn't "over".  I'm not even sure what that means, which is why I put it in quotes.  If bitcoin was dead, it wouldn't be valued at over $6k would it? 

I also suspect that OP would not have started a thread like this a few months ago in the summer when bitcoin was over $10k.  So did bitcoin die sometime between then and now?  I don't think so.  It isn't dead or dying, just taking a breather. OP must be new, because he obviously hasn't seen this kind of volatility before.

that is also what i witness so you are right , we believe in one thing   . blockchain became noticeable after btc got popular  but now , people easily say that blockchain can live without btc  .

Yes, it is correct. Blockchain was created for bitcoin and without the first use case (bitcoin) nobody would even be interested in blockchain and nobody would be able to see it work and recognize what else can be done with it.
OP is proclaiming Bitcoin dead when in fact only 4 years ago people were trading Bitcoin for 300 USD! I bought some of my Bitcoins for 500-600 USD. I understand that some of newcomers can look at the last 4 months and think that it's dying but it's 10 years old! We've seen much worse.

There comes a point though when Bitcoin will reach it's pinnacle, I'm not saying we're there yet, I'm not saying Bitcoin is done, what I am saying is that, even if it's not in our lifetime, Bitcoin wont go up and up and up in value, certainly not at the rate it has been anyway.

A 'boring' Bitcoin means it's become fucking humongous. By that point even if there's no new blood it will still be one of the very best places to park your value as it will continue to appreciate against the depreciating money most people are paid in.

It will also be immune to the unimaginable kludges that are coming to attempt to keep the regular economies twitching. We ain't seen nothing yet.

People who think like the average peabrain here with the patience and perspective of a toddler who announce doom because they got fucked on Bitmex today will be long gone and long broken. Those who stick around will have rather different feelings eventually.

The price of the bitcoin today is not reasonable because from the previous months came from nine thousand dollars the price fall to over seven thousand dollars it is not suitable for the people who already invested the bitcoin from the last months because it has a loss of income today, but its good for the new investors, because they are now invested with the value of the bitcoin, is low and it gives them profit soon if the price grows up. The bitcoin is not over yet because this is just a start of having reset of the price of the coin, the price before of the bitcoin is low and rise again in this 2017, so there is a possibility this may happen again, the price of the bitcoin today is not profitable for short term trading it is better to use the altcoins for your daily income, but in the long term for sure the bitcoin will be back soon.

Nah, you're wrong, Bitcoin is not going to die. The reason why some of you say that Bitcoin is going to die is because you see the price fall. Price falling doesn't mean that bitcoin is dying, the price fluctuates because BTC is volatile. The only thing that matters most is how many people are ready to make use of Bitcoin, the price doesn't really matter. As long as people are still making use of Bitcoin then it is not dead, even if the price should fall down to zero.

The same thing with Blockchain, it's not going to die as well. Blockchain is going to be used in lots of ways and not only transaction. It's left for us to discover areas where they will be useful.

Blockchain will definitely live because a lot of countries and businesses are starting to adopt blockchain that it is very useful for making transactions, but i don't think that bitcoin will be over because bitcoin can also be useful the only thing that they hate with bitcoin is it does not have a stable price and it is been used for illegal activities, that is why a lot of countries banned it.

Why when bitcoin dies then the blockchain will become unused? aren't the two things different? Blockchain is a technological innovation, where this technology can be developed far better than just focusing on the financial system.

Since Bitcoin first used blockchain technology, their names are already attached to each other and even if most government will accept blockchain technology, even if they don't like Bitcoin, it's hard to remove bitcoin's name when talking about blockchain technology. Bitcoin will go down when last miner will stop mining it. For Bitcoin to work you only need two users. Where there were Satoshi and Hal Finney, they made it work. Satoshi by himself could not.  I mean he could send coins to himself, but that would be just pointless. 

I agree and aside from miners here must be sender and receiver or the masses who'll use this blockchain technology. As long as bitcoin fulfilled its purpose, a decentralized cryptocurrency then bitcoin is here to stay. As long as bitcoin is being utilized because of its flexibility, secure and fast and being decentralized more people are joining the ranks of using it.

We think that bitcoin will not die because of its price right now, thousands higher than the others so that is why we keep telling it to ourselves but what is real is that bitcoin could actually die, not now but it is possible. The fact that it is decentralized speaks a lot, its price and reputation gained from people's trust on which can be relinquish again especially now that we have better cryptocurrencies like EOS.

The same thing with Blockchain, it's not going to die as well. Blockchain is going to be used in lots of ways and not only transaction. It's left for us to discover areas where they will be useful.

Blockchain as multi-field in tact is impossible to die. I believe that it id thr future's technology of data security which means protecting of public good so there is no way it will be just a thing to set aside.

Bitcoin is the first digital store of value ever created, that is not something small and it is a very useful function to perform especially since bitcoin is not connected to any country in particular so unlike the dollar it is a real universal currency of which you have complete control and that no one can take away legally from you without your permission, to me that is a huge thing and even if bitcoin never became adopted globally that will still be enough to guarantee its existence for a very long time.
