First of all, I want to remind that it is better to set a reasonable target. I mean every member has different capabilities to reach their next rank. I don't want to underestimate you but I think don't expect too much for a new higher rank only in a month. You are better to focus on how you improve your knowledge and more active all year long.

I have some notes for you, buddy:

1. I see you ever didn't log-in to forum a few months. In the next year, you are better more active. It will make you have a higher chance to rank up.



2. Get more often merits before dreaming higher targets (become Sr only a month). You still rarely get merits.



*However, don't worry. Everyone has the same chance to improve their ranks. Good luck!!

Thank you for the very nice testimony you shared BITCOIN4X.
I often see how much new members complain because of merit system and claim it's unfair because other members don't reward their good quality posts, contribution to this forum etc.
But,  your and many other similar stories here prove that everybody have the same chance and opportunity here to achieve higher ranks in the forum based on the own effort and contribution to the forum.
It's important to read and learn in order to better understand btc topics.
After that,  use your knowledge and experience in order to help others.
It's simple like that.

You only posted 44 posts for 2 years since you were joined which is not really going to et you any merits unless your posts are highly informative on the mainboards.Make yourself more active and stop being a bounty hunter if you want to rank up.Get knowledge before looking for campaigns then everything will come much easier for you.

Your wish will come true when you succeed in improving the quality of your posts. You have stopped doing activities for one year so you need a hard enough effort to balance your knowledge of the forum and everything in it that you missed a year ago.

You have to believe that, nothing is impossible when you have the potential to improve your quality to post, help people and of course you also have to consider local boards if you are not good enough to explore global forum.

Yes. As you said, my posts are very little compared to the time I spend. I am more often active in exchanges because the only hope as a beginner lies in exchange. I have to study all the time and compete with minimum investment capital. We know that in exchange there will be giant fish between small waves. But that was not an obstacle for me, because I was fond of crypto. Nothing is impossible if we want to learn. Come back to the bounty campaign. I have also tried it. I just know that his account is older than mine, even it is only 3 months older. 44 posts (now 46) for 2 years is quite surprising for me, it seems he was not really active in the forum.

Agree. He must be more active, but not only active, try to have more positive contributions. Here are some contributions that he can try to do:

- Create quality threads
- Help others with helpful information
- Report spam posts to moderators
- Report scammers, account farmers, or merit abusers
- Warn people about virus or malware cases
- Inform update information about forum issues or crypto issues to your local members
- Following discussions on Meta
- Etc

Of course, nothing is impossible. You can rank up soon to Member rank. And continue to the next level (Full Member above). But surely it requires serious efforts, strong trust, and constant learning from various sources. Anyway, firstly, you are better to focus on your short-term target. It may be about more active, trying to make several good posts, improving your skill in constructing idea/opinion, and reaching member rank.

Thank you for the information, this is very useful information. I rarely go into sub-meta, there are too many legends, their discussion is very high quality and difficult for me to understand. I only attend to read, but rarely to respond, let alone make posts there.

Indeed, most of my topics are on altcoin discussions. I think there we can discuss altcoin. I realize that we will get new information if we are often with legends.

Hello everyone, 2020 has arrived and the holidays are over and now it's time for me to return to the forum in the hope of greater success.

I am really lucky for 2019 because I managed to reach the rank of senior member where not everyone can achieve it and for 2020 I really hope to reach the hero by collecting 500 merit.

I will try to reach the next rank in the same way as 2019, and now I am on my way to hero ranking, only 170 merit remaining and I am very optimistic about getting it.
To become a very trusted member, maybe i cant achieve it in the near future, but at least I will continue to try to become a useful member.

Congratulations, bro. That was a great achievement. I also did my best to reach Hero member rank in the previous year. Luckily, I could become a Hero exactly on the last day of 2019.

Sure. The next level (Hero) needs 500 merits, but it is no problem as long as you do continuous efforts + maintain your post quality.

Exactly. Just 170 merits remaining, and you will be on the list of Bitcointalk Ranking-up pipeline once you have more than 400 merits. Some people may pay more attention to you and ready to support you if they think it deserves.

Of course, it is already noted as your account progress history. So far you have reached Senior rank, and it seems you will be a Hero rank soon. But you mustn't stop to try reaching the next level, till getting a legend rank. Then, once you have become a legend, continue to have bigger contributions since you have a responsibility to support + help others.
