Greetings,

A few days ago, localbitcoins told me i need to proceed to tier 3 verification, i thought it was ok to do so and uploaded what they requested, and from past 4 days i am still waiting for them to update my limit and make my account fully functional, no reply to my ticket also yet. Then i looked into google where to buy and sell for my country, i found paxful and remitano to be the top competitors for local bitcoins. I registered in both the places to see what is next, in remitano i could sell small amount without any issue, but they made me link my phone and bank account for the purpose of verification. In paxful, i fould all shady profiles so i never bothered to create a trade there. I think if i deposit a slightly huge volume of BTC then remitano also might lock my account untill the verification is completely done. I do have a option of selling and buying offline, from people i have dealt with a few times earlier, but those people are offering me prices i am not good to deal with, but in websites the catch was that i got more offers and better rates.

I searched in bitcointalk too, there were many threads guiding me how i can exchange in different exchanges, but most of them were crypto to crypto. I wanted a solution for crypto-fiat and vice versa. I also found this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 place in the forum where many people make offers. I feel i will have to use escrow, and the fees that escrow providers charge might sometimes be too much for small deals.

Is there any place or any way that peer to peer trading can happen safely without the fuss of verifying all my ID's ? Some websites wanted me to verify my bank account too, but i never bothered to login to my internet banking from their websites interface.

I believe many people might be facing the issue same as me after many tiers of verification has come up and different policies that these providers are regulating on their customers forcefully in order to use their services.

I also believe someone might have a solution to this or alternatives that they have personally used which could help me at this point.

EDIT : BEST OPTIONS SO FAR
  • Buy/Sell @ FORUM https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 [No id, no verification, can use escrow, can trade without escrow with trusted mebers too]
  • Buy/Sell @ LOCAL CRYPTO https://localcryptos.com/ [Need to verify email and phone for the purpose of recovery of account, no ID, no verification, they may only individually be requested by the traders themselves to verify the payee]
  • Buy/Sell @ BISQ NETWORK https://bisq.network/ [Need to provide bank details, create order, No ID, No verification *][Very slow though]

Also, try hotbit.io they also not require KYC or ID verification to buy or sell bitcoin.
If you are going to deposit USD you need a 3rd party service like EPAY to deposit USD so you need to deposit on EPAY first before you can deposit it to your hotbit account.

You can also check our "currency exchange" you can find someone there to buy or sell BTC(p2p) or make your own thread. Just make sure to deal only with trusted members/reputable members and high-rank accounts without negative trust.

I have spent my day looking at posts in there and how trades have gone on this page lately, only problem is escrow fees is fixed by highly trusted members and if i get some offers for small deals it will also charge a lot of fees, like you have set a minimum bar at 0.003 BTC to act as a escrow. For example if i have to only buy or sell 0.01 at the given moment, i will get only 0.007.

I have used the currency exchange section for many of my deals, and I can recommend you to deal with naster as he has many options like bank payment and PayPal etc. Honestly in my personal opinion if you buy from here and need to use escrow use it as that will ensure the transaction will go through, though if the seller is extremely trusted then you can avoid using escrow too. One way to find out if the seller is trustworthy or not is to view his thread and read his recent posts, then go to his profile and check his trust ratings hopefully this will help you from being scammed out here.

I think you need to check this topic ----> Decentralized Exchanges *.
To ensure that the platform does not require identification documents in the future, you need to ensure that it is completely centralized. Just saying decentralization is not enough.
One of the drawbacks of decentralized platforms is limited liquidity.

* Note that the last update was taken a year ago and there are a lot of platforms that have been turned into scam.

It's quite complicated to buy bitcoin with credit/debit cards without identity verification. Although some exchange not asking KYC at the beginning, but eventually likely you have to submit it. Because most of exchangers who allow buy bitcoin with credit card, most of them use simplex getaway for  credit/debit card. There have some verification as far as I know. You can see more details on coingate. I were looking for same thing just few days back. But unfortunately still I didn't get any trusted source where KYC will not be required. Even there is not problem to submit KYC but exchanges making too much drama after make deposit such as limits and again KYC etc. So better buy from forum as suggested by other user. Perhaps you will get someone from your local country. But don't forget to use trusted escrow for forum to stay safe.

Binance (https://www.coingecko.com) is the good one. You can use Binance, not Binance Dex, without KYC. If your fund is limited, less than 2 BTC and or bigger but you don't imagine situation when you must withdrawn more than 2 BTC each day, you can use Binance smoothly. Without KYC (for less than 2 BTC withdrawal daily).

For decentralized exchanges, you can check at https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges too but most of decentralized exchanges, in reality are not truly decentralized. They are somewhat half-decentralized.

Therefore, in my opinion, it is the best to choose Binance.

But:
Don't store your money on exchanges any longer than your plan to trade.

I have my topic, that is helpful for newbies. Newbies - Read before using exchanges or investing

ID verification is the best selling BTC because the scam is spreading everywhere You can sell bitcoin by checking different places and if you do not want to verify then I think you can use escrow if you want to sell or buy bitcoin. Each place has some limitations before it can be exchanged Binance is also a good side to Bitcoin exchange.

Binance is the right place KYC is not compulsory but it has a limitation of 2 btc withdrawal every 24 hours but you can trade as much as you want, why I say binance? because they have insurance even they got hacked they can replace the funds immediately.

In the past, they took all loses from the hack for their users, and they paid losses back to their users without issues. Personally, I see 2-BTC withdrawal limit is enough for daily basis. Honestly, I don't withdraw such big money within only one day.

Maybe whales have issues with that but they likely don't feel get troubles by doing KYCs and increase their daily withdrawal limits.

I vote for Binance, OP.

I checked and went through all the recommendations, since i wanted a solution for peer to peer trading, till now, my best options were bisq network, its very very slow process though unlike LBC or remitano, and the next one was posting an offer in forum and getting it done, since there are a lot of active members here, but i don't know whom to trust and whom to not, so i always want to use escrow, but i feel the fees for highly trusted escrows are high if i want to do small trades and not all payment gateways or methods are accepted by all the escrows.

Binance is not made for peer to peer trading. I guess OP is looking for a platform where he can buy and sell bitcoins in usd or fiat currencies. Bitcoin/Altcoin exchanges is not his requirement. I have few options in mind but all those require KYC. It is difficult to find good trusted source without a KYC.

You can also check LocalCryptos to buy/sell bitcoin and/or eth. View the marketplace and see if it has what you need. AFAIK, no KYC is needed to use the platform but it has less users compared to LocalBitcoins.

That should be expected. OTC trading 'will' always be slow because the number of users and demands for such thing aren't as high as a centralized platform. Especially because you're dealing with fiat.

For the escrow, I think the fees are worth it. There's no other option and the fees aren't as insane as debit/credit withdrawal, which might take up to $10 and can get exponentially larger depending on your tx value. Just go for the old and trusted escrow such as Darkstar, minerjones, etc.

There will be a ID verification in most of the exchanges for buying through a credit/debit card. There are some exchanges where ID verification is not necessary for exchanging cryptocurrencies. You can exchange your coins in this exchange.

You can also check LocalCryptos to buy/sell bitcoin and/or eth. View the marketplace and see if it has what you need. AFAIK, no KYC is needed to use the platform but it has less users compared to LocalBitcoins.
This has interface like localethirium and looks good for now...did couple of trades with people i have dealt with earlier.. maybe this website takes their links of trades from localbitcoins and localethirium and just creates a trade and escrow, no ?
