My closest friend from the forum, met him & his girl cryptoqueeen several times in the last 12 months. Both great people & I’ll continue to hang out & have good times with them.

I have to admit that I actually have a lot of positive to say about this forum, I entered the forum like how I think i'm IRL as well, I do not have some real fake internet personality maybe a bit more polite as IRL cause here I know all kind of ages can be reading so its better to not always go out of line imo...that said...
I entered as a total internet/forum n00b now i'm slightly better but still a bit on the n00b-ish side though what I did remember is that the first place I wrote in and read was the WO-thread and at the start a few gave me a hard time, doubt that I was gonna do what I was telling etc (understandable) but mainly the most welcomed me with open arms like I was already a part for much longer time and I appreciated that a lot, this still is the same with the recent new guys that I have seen entering the WO-thread, for collectibles I had the same experience...
Have hold some good relations out of this forum as online as IRL and for sure LFC is the member I talk the most with IRL he did became a true friend!!!

This forum learns people a lot about BTC, but goes faaaaaaar beyond that as well, be online be here and discover for yourself!!!

I'd like to spend a good word about some of the WO regulars. I'll limit myself to some of the legendaries.

Last of the V8s has uncanny access to all kind of information and he's fast in his replies/retorts/repartees. One of the pillars of the WO as far as actual information goes. Besides that, the scantily clad ladies he selects for our sore eyes are always top notch. Which helps a lot in times of trouble (or double bottoms).

gentlemand has a twisted, spicy sense of humor and seems to prefer understating his understanding in most cases. He never wastes a word.

Globb0 is another fine humorist. His banter is unfailingly able to make me laugh.

There are many more fine gentlemen over there of course. micgoossens our champ has been mentioned already. HairyMaclairy most reliable analyst and general pundit. JayJuanGee, wordy Batman fan and small type abuser. Too many to mention. Last but not least, let me drop a final name. JimboToronto the "Go Bitcoin go" guy. He's one of the seniors and a role model for many.

achow101, this guy is very kind to share his knowledge with answering lot of technical questions on Development & Technical Discussion and Bitcoin Technical Support section.

Agree on this one, achow101 has saved my ass a couple of times. Once I thought I’d lost 17BTC. They were deducted from my Core wallet balance when I sent a transaction. The wifi signal dropped just as I sent them but they weren’t in my other (receiving) wallet.

Any way to cut a long story short I had to sendrawtransaction in the debug log. Without being a techie I would have taken a long time to figure that out myself. It was near the ATH of 19,xxx so that was (still is) a lot of money.

The Pharmacist - almost always I agree with his thoughts. And he can express it so well, so I don't even try to post on thst topic because I know that I can't make anything better.
Ok, another one - hilariousandco - he is great moderator with rational and cool head. Also, he makes EPL and CL prediction pools each year, which gives lot of entertainment for  us. Big thank you for it!

All I ask for you to do is say something nice about any other forum member and I'll award you one merit. It can be anyone even if you know them or not, if they are here now or were here before - just say something nice and I'll reward you for it!

I did at least one good thing on the forum, donated $50 + to a charity which allowed some children to receive Christmas presents and help the homeless. I think this is the least we can do, children are the most vulnerable part of human society and deserve special attention.

He's inadvertently challenged me to see my own racism, xenophobia, and antisemitism all the while keeping our moonboi's in check.
