of course because they have no experience in crypto so it's easy to trust people on social media, sometimes those who are smart also look stupid when they get offers that don't make sense (want to get rich quick)
Of course, having no experience and knowledge of the crypto world is a major factor in scams and it's easy to be tempted to make huge profits without doing good research.
in the crypto world it is not because they are smart or stupid, because no matter how smart they are if they have no experience or knowledge about the crypto world it will be of no use.

I think that being scammed only happens to newcomers to the crypto market and seeing others making money quickly makes them want to make huge profits too. They are easily deceived by temptations and make their account disappear.
I advise newcomers to be careful with their property.
Install anti-virus software; store your private key carefully; do not perform Teamviewer with anyone you do not know well; don't believe anyone who promises to be profitable for you. There are several ways to avoid being scammed.

There are a lot of factors why people getting scammed wether they are newcomers or old into this kind of business venture. One of those is Greed, people wants to earn big profits in a short period of time even the projects offer a god to be true kind of ROI most especially for newbies that they don't have any idea how cryptocurrencty works at all.

whats ITK ?   . number 2 . is greed , we all have a greed and non noobs have more of it because they  have more experience and they think they can earn more and they  can hardly apreciate small income anymore  .

number 1 . thats the most prone all of us undergo on this process ( we got scammed for being a noob )  . it sucks being a noob thats why we learn everything just to skip this phase

Scammers create an identity for them as an expert trader by using different tactics and showing fake proofs of huge profit trades, so over the time people tends to believe their words and fall for such scams but these people deserved to get scammed or else they never learn such lessons.

Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money

Well, once We enter this business industry and decide to invest in any of the project campaigns, that means your money or capital is in between Winning and loss. If you remain to stand here it also means you are willing to lose your money either in trading or investing in the project just as simple as that.

We should not sending coins to traders so they can trade our coins and get profit, that is very doubtful.
If the trader could give the profit guarantee, then the trader would not need our money because they can use their own money from profit.
There are no 100% profit in trading, especially in cryptocurrency because we know cryptocurrency is very volatile.

Invest in a project with long term vision. A project with a good foundation, don't gamble with projects who are taking so much risk. Be wise and don't get so much greedy in your investment.

That is the point, it is impossible for people to beg for other people's money if they are able to create higher profits. Stay careful, don't be hooked by signals and create fake profits, in fact they are just scammers.

We all now there are lots of scammer everywhere but we need to be aware of it. But sometime they are targeted those new in crypto so that's many people being victim for not fully careful of what the project they must be invest there money.
Those victims are those with the mindset of get rich quick, these types are prime targets for scammers. I will fault those victims because of the nature of thousands of scams that took place. Don't be lazy to research into a project that bring forth an investment because many of them are scammers with new tactics. The return of investment matters before accept their investment, don't be greedy.

As we see now the Defi trend are very hot today and most of new project are very clearly managed by scammer that hiding their identity but still so many peoples joined their project because they want to be part of the trending trend of Defi project. Which are lead to their loss. We all want to make some money but supporting scam projects will lead a bleeding market again soon.

There are still a lot of new people coming into crypto every day. When you have no experience then it can happen pretty quickly to be tricked into buying a scam coin.
Plus i think the average age of people that are attracted by crypto is pretty young and teenagers are also more likely to be victims of scams then adult people.
That's the reason why you should only invest what you can afford to lose and not 1 cent more.

This is a very good question i am still suprised why people still fall for some petty crypto scams. The thing have discovered in my years in this industry is that if you are looking for a fast way to make money you will definitely be scammed.

Yes. Many people in this market fall in crypto scams. Most of them are new comers. New comers come to this market think of that this market is full of profits. So they started investment in the wrong places. And most of them are ending in loss or in scam. So it's always preferable that grow some knowledge first then go for investment. So first watch the market and then try to understand how the market works. Then go for investment. That's it.

Yes,Sometimes people are complacent about the rapid benefits of crypto. When in fact, in crypto there is no way to get rich quickly, there are many diverse fraud cases. And one thing, don't always believe in someone you just met.

Those who are victims mostly are those who are new here especially with bounties or airdrops there are still random of people who still get scam because they are mostly new here in the forum or new to cryptocurrencies. I guess newbies also have here one topic that they can ask or read some warning about getting scam here so that it can lessen or totally avoid those scammers.

Chances are there that they could be young people because young people like the quick money thing and they don't want to learn things properly. If you are rushing to make money, you may fall easily than some person taking it easy and careful.

Very good suggestion. The people who are still doing this work, please be stopped. Scamming through twitter is a repeated scenario in the crypto world. Many people have lost a lot of coin by such scamming. So, stop to do it and be safe from scamming.

Usually the fraudsters do many ways to trick their victims and some of them even offer multiple benefits and make the victim interested in investing in fraud projects, in fact there are other things that make many people easily get caught up in a fraud, such as the lack of knowledge that is owned by the victim of the crypto project, lack of researching a project before investing and most importantly, the greedy nature possessed by the victim so that it is easy to be tempted by an offer to get a large profit provided by the fraudulent crypto project
