Like I said the project team is working hard and we can see that here. Good news overall, the project is getting more and more serious.

Completely agree. I have no doubt that within a short time we will see Cartesi in the top 100 of the cryptocurrency market. The idea of the project is really very useful and revolutionary. And the most important thing is to develop ideas on the right path. I'm a fan.

Maybe I and you have different opinions on this matter, even though Cartesi has a pretty good project concept but it looks like it will be very difficult for Cartesi to reach the top 100 because currently Cartesi is ranked 532 in the CMC list and doesn't require a high enough jump for Cartesi reach rank 100? And it seems that now cartesi doesn't have a good reason to be able to jump that high and the development of the cartesi project is quite relaxed without any surprising buzz from the current cartesi development team.

It will not be that easy, but to get to the top 100 they need to have a capitalization slightly more than 100 million dollars. It's not such a difficult task for a project that has clear goals and strong community support, isn't it?

A project that I believe attracts more attention as I realize its goals on the road map. The goals on the new roadmap are very good and I believe they will succeed. Over time they will enter the top 100, but this will not be easy.

IMO, Cartesi still remain attractive for investment and its capacity to get into hundreds of million is possible. It keeps generating more used case and the fundamentals are great and the team are professionals with discipline and solid work ethics. Am not a long term holder of altcoin but CSTI can make a great reward if one hold it beyond a year at least.

I think you misunderstood the main idea of the project. Cartesi is a second layer solution for DApps, it is not for users, it is for businesses and developers. The main idea is to bring massive computations off-chain saving mainchain security. Developers will use Cartesi in order to increase scalability of their DApps on old chains with low TPS like current PoW Ethereum network. There are already some DApps using this solution and different partnerships, like with Binance Smart Chain.

The CTSI token will be used for the Cartesi Mainchain Mining (Staking). There is Pre-Staking on Coinone already available and 2 rounds has been covered so far. Mainnet Mining is coming soon.

So as a developer you can use Cartesi solution to grow your DApp, as a user you can use CTSI for Mining (Staking).

Like Cartesi, there are a few great projects helping to scale Ethereum implementing layer-2 systems, the closest competitor being Offchain Labs.

What gives Cartesi a competitive edge is that it allows developers to code their smart contracts and DApps directly with mainstream software components and Linux OS resources. This is a breakthrough for the productivity of existing DApp developers and for the adoption from non-blockchain developers. We believe that it's more than a  competitive advantage, but rather, a necessary step to the very future of blockchains and their applications.

To avoid confusion, Cartesi can run on any computer. The OS is emulated to develop DApp logic on. Linux is the most relevant OS nowadays in many aspects. Also, Cartesi and public blockchains have an intimate relationship with open-source software. Linux and RISC-V are very good representatives of the open-source (and open standard) worlds with more and more adoption. (Even Microsoft is embracing open-source and Linux, which is an interesting factor to consider).

Cartesi’s architecture and platform can also (easily) support other OS's. But at this point, we don't see a need to invest or to promote this possibility.

As for the token

CTSI is a utility token that works as a crypto fuel for Cartesi's side-chain. Stakers receive CTSI rewards by staking their tokens and participating in the network. Node runners are selected randomly according to a PoS system and gain the right to create the next block. Users of the network pay CTSI fees to insert data on the side-chain. CTSI will also be used for DApps to outsource the execution of verifiable and enforceable computation to entities running Descartes nodes.
