There isn't a scrypt coin to my knowledge that's similar to Namecoin in which it can be merge mined with LTC. Is there any reason for that?

Thanks,

There are like 5 or 6 merge mineable scrypt coins.

Maybe you forgot? It's possible to find answers to almost any question you may have simply by using the forum search function.

Yes, I've seen that one. I was mainly looking for a coin that also had the decentralized DNS system like Namecoin.

Relax, there aren't any known scrypt coins with a DNS system like Namecoin.
