They getting blocked and deleted by YouTube in masses....

Your title is misleading tho. The crypto channels are being deleted and not the entire YouTube.
This is like Facebook that banned ICOs on their platform since it was being used in fraudulent activities so same goes with YouTube.

Youtube is a big video streaming platform to be taken down or even boycott. We cannot do anything if that is their choice. There can still be a lot of alternatives if youtube would ban crypto related channels.

It’s a pity that the YouTube channel does this, especially if this is a case with cryptocurrency and blockchain. This should not have been for the YouTube channel to prohibit the display of videos about cryptocurrency and the blockchain in general. Maybe the YouTube channel will make its own adjustments and tweak the rules about cryptocurrencies.

This is just your subjective thought, the fact that the crypto community on YouTube is very small, except for cheater bounty hunters. so their strong impact on the crypto community does not cause too much damage to their revenue. Strictly speaking, we are small ants and we have no value compared to them. so they can do everything on their platform, that's their right. and I'm sure Youtube won't die, it's the habit of billions of people.

I think it's impossible youtube will vanish, because youtube is already too popular and big to vanish. Moreover, the owner of YouTube is Google
which will not let youtube vanish. But it is indeed annoying the case of deletion of several crypto-related videos these past few days. Youtube
has already acknowledged the mistakes, and has returned the deleted video.Fortunately, this case did not become big and does not have
a negative impact on cryptocurrency. Hopefully in the future there is a decentralized video platform that can be used for crypto promotion,
so don't depend too much on the youtube platform for crypto promos.

Cryptocurrency is just a small portion of their platform and i don't think abandoning YT will help. It's like YT are the authority and we are the society which means we have to follow what are their rules and action about of the cryptocurrency. If ever someone make an alternative to YT then most crypto vloggers will go straight to that platform. But the only thing that most people are doing vlogging is to make money because YT allows it.

And basically youtube will run even without the contents about cryptocurrency, and even without the cryptocurrency content creators as well. They all have their means of running their platforms even without one potential category that they want to wipe out. (cryptocurrency). And we, for us youtube is one great platform that we need, we could not deny that. So, for us to solve our problems, I think we are really in advancing technology so why not develop a streaming platforms? But I guess there's already some established. What we just need to do is to strengthen the support and help others know about it. So even without youtube, we could still be updated to the latest news and updates about our beloved cryptocurrency.

I am sure it will happen so soon because a lot of new rules was added lately and they attacking a lot of content creators and deactivate their channel, especially crypto related contents. what they did now is political bias and also a lot of children content will deleted and pay for violated rules. If this will continue and youtube did not make a big move for this, I think a lot of content creator will protest and move for a better platform.

Loosing on what? it's not that easy for Youtube to just go down, they are owned and operated by the number one company in the internet and there's no real competitor, so I don't know what they are losing, I read a report that it was a mistake, it should be on videos that invite people to invest, you are right that we need a video sharing site like Youtube, but so far no one comes close to compete.

Youtube isn't just a website like it was in year 2005 when it freshly came out on the internet. Youtube is already a part of life a living so youtube vanishing or disappearing won't really happen. I mean we can't blame youtube for deleting those videos/channels because they where being controlled by the government, youtube is centralized what can you expect.

You will be surprised if you found out that Youtube is a millionaire maker, many new videos are going to be created because there is a lot of money to be made here, and it's still the number video sharing sites and will still be in the next five years, Uploader will not just leave Youtube, because it's part of their income and users, part of their habit everything are on Youtube.

YouTube is not been patronized by crypto users only. There is a variety of disciplines using YouTube for promotional works and other activities.  They already apologized for wrongly taking down some videos and contents, which they promise to reinstate. Tech is progressive and there is a need to censor some activities in other to avoid misleading the public. For example, some fraudulent promoters keep promoting a coin that is designed to fail as a potential replacement for bitcoin, and people do innocently buy into the idea.

YouTube is very popular right now so vanishing them is not that easy but if the same platform will occur then all the crypto members will decide to use it instead of YouTube then we can fully boycott YouTube.

But as you can see, many advertisers preferred YouTube because of it's popularity and this habit will not be replaced easily but if we have no other option then boycotting YouTube is our only option if YouTube decide to fully banned crypto in their platform.

Seriously, I'd rather all these social media just go ahead and outright ban Bitcoin. So we'd stop getting people coming into the space who're only interested in speculating and get rich quick schemes. Was actually really OK when Google (and thus YouTube) seemingly went ahead and banned crypto ads. Because Bitcoin doesn't need those ads around. It was doing fine without the CWs misleading people into wrong Bitcoin opportunities and "cloud mining" projects etc.

The hype really needs to just get put down.

I think there were only a few crypto influencers on Youtube who have been affected because I have few friends who have crypto content and they're accounts are still fine. I wonder why Youtube is banning crypto content. I just hope that other social media sites wouldn't do the same thing.

YouTube has done great services for humanity like providing educational videos to underdeveloped regions and many more such things. I learned many things from YouTube. If they have deleted few crypto videos which are againest there policies, then we cant say YouTube must be banned. YouTube ban so many other videos also. Focus on positive aspect of YouTube also

I don't mind if youtube is gone. I am sick of their ads anyways. Some videos play two ads before playing, another midstream and another at the end of the video. That is just too much commercialism in there.

LBRY is right, YouTubers should sync their videos, maybe not just to LBRY but to other decentralized platforms.

Those annoying ads is the reason we have that much content on youtube.

I know someone who is doing youtube videos, and his ..type   of videos, requires money, you can just simply create good videos without either buying a lot of stuff or investing hours in animation or paying for transportation to get to those places you film.
Do you think channels will survive without that incentive? No!
Just like football and basketball rely on sponsor money, just like blockbusters rely on cinema tickets, everything is driven by money.

On their own, a lot of people wouldn't be able to produce even a tenth of what's now on yt.

Nah man, you don’t know what you’re saying, YouTube is not disappearing. Take other social media like Twitter and Facebook as an example – Twitter is looking forward to being a decentralized platform, if that’s possible, they have even launched a test project to see how it’s going to be before make their decision on whether to go with it or not.

As for Facebook, they are still staying centralized and they are not even talking about changing how they run things, but imagine that Twitter becomes decentralized and a lot of people jumps on Twitter, Facebook will try to do the same because if they don’t they will lose their users. Same thing with this YouTube, it’s because no one is taking decentralization serious, if that should happen they will change their system.

Its hard to promote a decentralize video sharing platform and make it popular when all there is that we are do is go to youtube to watch whatever is there. Maybe if we could organize together that crypto community only shares the decentralized video platform link on social media, the platform could gain more users entirely not from crypto. Its possible and youtube knew it could happen which possibly the reason they apologized for purging crypto videos.

Youtube took a step back in this regard. He explained that a warning was given to the channels that made Bitcoin evaluation as a systemic error. However I do not think it was a mistake. I think they saw more reactions than they expected.
