There is no information yet, it seems that the laws in their country are not yet imposed on cryptocurrencies. So they disappeared easily, I had already deposited money in this exchange but fortunately I pulled it out before the project became a scam.

There is no proper legal basis in cyptocurrency and do not know whether this incident has been reported by the local authorities? because it's impossible if outsiders report it.
Many people are trapped in this exchange and there are even more assets there.

even local investors difficult to report this case as criminal act, outside of USA if we want bring scam case its very difficult. there is no law that organize criminal act in crypto market. they have no legal standing at all , for foreign investors it will take much cost that may bigger than their investors. we  must make collaboration with local investors to bring this case to court.

They raised over $ 30 million from the ICO, and I'm quite surprised why people are so silent with it. If investors lose money then I believe they will complain a lot here, but it seems too quiet.

No one can verify their raised fund because they haven't public the token sale smart contract. So I think it's just a number for marketing purpose. Just some users cannot withdrawn fund and claim them.

In Vietnam, China or other country where Crypto was banned, they often often register companies abroad, so they can avoid any trouble related to legal issues in their country. And if the project has a scam and the team disappears, users and investors will be unable to do anything.

Vietnam does not ban Crypto, they do not even have any rules for it. So your statement is incorrect, they register it in another country because if they scam then they will still be safe while in Vietnam.

If a government has no rules for an object then they will temporarily ban it before enacting a complete law. As far as I know, no crypto project has registered the company here (just like China, while most of the current projects on the current crypto market are Chinese). So I think crypto is currently not allowed to operate in this country.

we will see the next bcnex in future, if we didnt care about project quality. moreover project that will distributed token to website wallet, they could propose reason maintenance for a while. even though they will run to scamm all investors. its be your lucky not to be victim in bcnex with huge amount.

This is true i am one of the victims who lost some assets on BCNEX Exchange , my friend lost up to 3eth and hard to pay the owners of the money . I never believed BCNEX was a scam Exchange until the day i initiated a withdrawal and up till today could not get my funds.

Well, I understand why they are still discussing this. seeing the conversation, I think there are quite a lot of their assets there, and it can't be cashed. it's just that, some users might have moved on from bncex and might be more careful about investing their money in Vietnam's project. even so, I also still feel that this bncex is a project that has a good start.

that's a small amount of money dude, My friend was getting scammed more than $500 and his money was still on that scam exchange site. I guess the scammer has been showing the fake hot wallet and he was hiding the real hot wallet. That doesn't make sense to see a lot of deposits were disappearing.

They must be reported into the regulators and I guess that's the only best way to catch them all. It looks like they were working on the same team. As long as we can identify the country they were based on and legal action against them can be taken by someone who based in the same area with them

Even after it was crystal clear that the BCNEX exchange exit scam, some faithfuls still believed in the team, hoping they will return since they claimed it was  bug and was already on rectification process. The exchange from onset wasn't community centric, I remember people got muted for asking reasonable questions when things started getting sour for bcnex in their telegram group. Anyone affected should just move on.

i am agree exchanges must have special regulation  caused it store millions fund from its customer. if we dont have it , in future there are fake exchanges occur again in market. atleast we must investigate core team in new exchange that could do by local regulator, so if they run local regulator could track them.

If they are able to track them down then they can take legal actions against them. But how do you take legal action against those you do not know? The owners have never been out to reveal their identities, which is why i will always prefer bigger exchanges, whose creators we know. For instance, we all know CZ of Binance. Even the owner of Kucoin and other reputable exchanges are well known set of people.
