I think sto or ieo are still nothing more than sustainable scams. New methods might emerge but investor confidence has been lost on tokensale.
It is better if a project is run first until it has a clear product, and has entered the exchange then open tokensale. So there is material consideration for investors. Don't just sell ideas but don't know when to implement them.

It's a pity that there are a lot of projects that don't have the funds to sustain their operations, so they need to implement tokensale before their product launches. For that reason, many projects are dead and underestimated because they don't really have any products yet. The current market is very fierce and I think new projects will hardly exist in this market.
Until now, IEO is still a good choice for new projects. But projects need to be patient because the current market is collapsing and it is difficult for them to successfully raise capital at this stage.

depending on what project, ICO is good when we don't have to worry about allocations, but at the moment I see a lot of the worst ICO launch projects. also about IEO, returning to the market where they launched IEO if they were launched in markets like p2p2pb, shortex or there is no point if projet launches IEO on Gate.io, OKEx, Kucoin, Binance, Bitmax. This is a good opportunity to increase your funds

Every program has potential become scam and that's become part of our journey. I have the same answer with other members, please stop follow all program ( IEO, ICO, STO ) for now and stay focus with trading/ investment program. Simple explanation is never repeat mistakes at the same place, find another way to keep collect earning. Market in bad condition and we only need to wait better condition to participate again, be patient and good luck to you.

Nothing, well be new  all this kind of token offering will be loaded of scammers. Even STO or security token offering can be fake by scsmmers. 

What we need now is to open our eyes on what is fake and what is true,  and ofcourse always think that there are risk in investing in token offering because even legitimate project can be scam eventually at the end.

Yes it all started in ICO scammer killed it so I don't think that there would be safe even if they change it.
Scammer would always be active and copy what's on trend so I think you are right any initial offering would be infected by scammers.

There's no doubt that ICO's are fading away for other shades of tokensales. IEO can be said to be gaining ground this days, but I must confess that projects are not finding it interesting due to the cost of holding IEO on cryptocurrency exchange. It so hard to try to risk in ICO because many really turn to scam or hack so that's why many really don't invest in this anymore so we can say this can be dead then this also can happen in STO,IEO but still few are legit we only need to find or study it here then do invest like this can still works or this can turn well even few only

For me scammers always have a way or arguably always able to take chances in a gap, the ICO that currently is arguably very unprofitable or ICO which is currently very bad because of the many scam projects and some projects that have failed to make many people slowly disappear or are reluctant to invest in ICOs because they don't want to if what they do ultimately fails.

In my opinion, it was very early to believe that 90 percent of projects that raised their funds in the ICO or IEO format became fraudulent. Now is a very bad price period for altcoins. When prices have fallen sharply, the number of transactions drops. Some of these projects will also be announced when the market rises again.
I think that the popularity of ICO projects can rise again after the states begin to regulate this type of activity. Fundraising in ICO format is the most simple and convenient. With our efforts, we can’t cope with fraud. Here we need state organizational regulation.

It's the end of any crowdfunding now unless legit projects can offer something in the table that can prove that they have a good potential in the market when it hit the market, I don't think we can expect anything in Crowdfunding anymore, right now there's nothing on new on these crowd fundings that will make them invest

I agree but ieo has more chance to become successful than ico. Ico is already dead and IEO becomes the alternative to have crowdfunding which gives lesser risk or to at least decreace the chance for a project to scam their investors.
But then again, as you said, it is still not guarantee the success, there is no investment such that. There is still some who succeed and fail as well.

Can't really say if IEO projects will become successful in the future because investors still has issues to their KYC policy and there are still few investors who wants to invest in new projects nowadays because IEO is still kow in exchanges., but definitely IEO has become more successful than ICO.

its not also good to call them dying because the arent died yet . you can only call them died once there is no present ico that you see on the market  .  there are no next with ico's but there are only  sto and ieo that are only a new additions  and not intended to replace ico's   .  both ieo and sto were also on thier calm state   .

This just goes to show how volatile the Cryptocurrency space can be and I am not talking about coin prices, we could fall in love with something this moment and discard it in the next moment, ICO tokensale model lasted a long time and paved way for the IEO tokensale model but even that has now become a thing of the past as some exchanges has taken it upon themselves to fake tokensale progress so that they can pull in non-existent investors.

While the big and recognised exchanges do not even give decent returns that used to be the norm when IEO started and was hot, presently there is no reigning tokensale model but some projects still manage to raise funds but it all depends on how quality the project is, but I know all those styles of raising funds would return once the altszn returns and we pick interest in investing in new projects again.

Its all have the same purpose and there are no serious differences between them. What is important is how much potential the project has and legal or not. And we must all be careful about all IEOs, STOs etc. and continue to do research before joining any of them.

That is why the majority loses money on scam projects. This will continue as long as we measure its potential depending on whether the project sale is ico or ieo. That is why ieo projects, which gained great value this year, are being traded below the sale price. Otherwise, the project with a product that can solve real problems does not lose such great value.

For me STO is decent in someway because of government regulation, and the team can't just run because the government can fuck them up, unlike IEO, ICO, STO has a real world value because it's backed by a asset, although STO doesn't possess the explosive growth of ICO, IEO, but it is definitely safer and less risky for investors.

For now IEO is the best token offering model because almost all projects that release IEO (although there are still some that launch ICO) but maybe someday the IEO trend will decrease and be replaced by a better model.

I personally don't believe that ICOs and IEOs will experience a revival in 2020, after all, far too many people have had their hands burned in the last two years. These crowdfunding methods simply won't work anymore.

Exactly. People have learned and are not willing anymore to try these out and this is what everyone is waiting for 2020. I think if there will be a new kind of crowdfunding it will be difficult for them to reach their target sale and amount of collection. It's wise for investors just to stick to their plans of buying and holding reliable coins like bitcoin rather than investing into these crowdfunding where promises will remain as promises.

While in the traditional and usual investing technique of buying and selling or holding coins, it's more reliable to everyone that doesn't want to get into this unsure investing to stay into that method.

I think investors today prefer to play it safe or don't want to invest in new projects that make sweet promises about what they will do and what will be gained by those who participate in the project. I personally also for the time being would prefer to invest into bitcoin or other top coins because if I look at this lately the new project only ends in failure so for that I prefer to invest into the top coins.

If option is only in title, maybe IEO i think is better so far. But we must stil be careful to pick which exchange that held it. Because at least bigger exchanges will help us to filter which project is good to pick. And after that, always set time when we want to take profit and then change to other project.

For me ICO is not yet totally dead. since some are still running these days and even collected some funds, but it was shrink too much compare to the first six months of 2019. and for the IEO for me its not doing well also it seems the investors are hesitant to invest in IEO specially in those project that was launch on the small and unknown exchange. But if the IEO was launch on Binance, Kucoin and other big known exchange it might me totally different when it comes the results. STO was silence in the past months maybe it will be more active in 2020, btw there is another form of offering called "IMO" Initial Model Offering i think it was exclusively offered in IMO platform.
