I am not familiar with google's but I have heard about such thing somewhere before but I am not so certain about it. And yes, facebook will launch libra however there are some shady conflicts about the regulation of it that is why it is still on hold. YouTube from the recent event about the purge though it did happened but they already confessed it as a their mistake but that doesn't mean they would create their own crypto currency, maybe they just wanted to eradicated frauds, and scammer that uses crypto in their platform.

I wonder where this question came from because recently youtube is actually deleting some videos concerning our community or cryptocurrency in particular, that do already imply that they are somewhat against the community. Meaning to say that for them to launch a cryptocurrency, it is ironic that they try to lessen support of the people to it in the first place.

Maybe in the future the YouTube will try to launch their own currencies but it will happen once digital payments will replace fiat.

You are right Facebook is trying to launch their libra coin but because of TRO they were unable to launch it yet. If you want to rank up easily then you need to follow the forum rules and make sure that you can contribute to the forum so you can easily get a merit and for you to rank up to senior member in a short period of time.

Youtube is a common platform for the Google giant, instead of having a separate cryptocurrency that has it, google developing a shared cryptocurrency for the whole ecosystem is more reasonable.

Right, now there are so many YouTube users that deserve to be called the giant Google platform, and also there are so many successful users of the YouTube platform by gaining extraordinary income.

What's needed by google is not develop a new crypto as it has already cooperated with various payment systems. What is needed by google to developer its own decentralized protocol like blockchain. this idea will be more reasonable rather than hope that google will try to create its own crypto in the future.

I think that can happen because YouTube is a very large video platform for now and they provide payments to creative and inspiring creators with ads added to their videos, so this can make YouTube create its own coin that will be based on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

I think they can make own cryptocurrency, but the problem is, they are based in US which their government are very strict when it comes to cryptocurrency. Libra still struggling I don't know if they launch in this year so same will happen those big companies.

There's no important reason You tube release their own cryptocurrency, they have bad problems about crypto content in their platform and should fix first. You tube is audio video platform and they focus in ads and until now is enough, no need release crypto for fresh fund or member. If government release wise regulation about crypto maybe you tube will have cryptocurrency but of course with their own style and performance.

So far, YouTube and Google have not released any information regarding that manner if they will be open for the creation of their own cryptocurrency token. As far as I know, Facebook is already planning to launch its own coin by this year 2020 and have not heard anything from it yet. Well, maybe in the near future those two could possibly create their own tokens to but as of now, no new heard from them about it. In the case of YouTube, maybe they will still need to fix their platform regarding the recent accident of the deletion of crypto related videos that are accidentally deleted without prior notice to the creators. They are still focusing into it so maybe there is no such time for them to think about entering the crypto community in terms of launching their own token. But maybe in the near future, it can be possible that YouTube and Google will soon to create their own depending on the necessity and public demand or if they think it will be relevant to create such.

Libra coin has not been officially released and you should check the news page you have read, to avoid being scammed by some fraud organizations. Besides, the issue of whether YouTube and Google issue cryptocurrencies is difficult to know. but from my point of view they are not, they are having bad thoughts about crypto so they are taking turns removing crypto apps from their systems. We should not be too hopeful about this conspiracy theory.

an impossibility, especially Google is very anti against cryptocurrency and we all know YouTube is a subsidiary of them, in recent years they have blocked some cryptocurrency smelling ads on Google Adsense and the last few weeks YouTube has also deleted some content that has a relationship with crypto. so if some one thinking google will make cryptocurrency that is a strange thing.

YouTube won't do it especially not right now. The banning of cryptocurrency related videos on the website have been resolved already. And that issue doesn't mean that they will make their own and eliminate competition. Facebook on the other hand, is always following the current trend in the market that's why they made Libra to be still relevant.

Youtube is a platform connected to Google. So if there was such an initiative, do so. In fact, the fact that Google has its own blockchain network would be called vGoogle. Google has not yet announced such a thing, it would be very convenient to create a crypto currency that will be the payment method on all platforms including Youtube.

YouTube a platform owned by Google might not have any plans to create or launch their own cryptocurrency. I assume that google are a little bit not in favor with crypto because they started to delete every crypto related videos in YouTube that was called "crypto purge", but i know that google is using blockchain technology protect their customers informations that are stored in the computer or database.
