Just recently, I saw several posts saying: "I hope I'm not offending anyone", and it's been on my mind for a while now.

I only recently realized why this is so common in English. In Dutch, "offended" and "insulted" are the same word ("beledigd"). But lately, it seems like people treat the word "offending" as if it's "insulting".
I'd say insulting isn't needed and makes you look bad, but being offended is a choice of the receiver, and honestly I'm offended by people who want to limit their own freedom of speech out of fear that someone might get his feelings hurt on the internet! Oh noes!

It's okay to offended people! Offensive jokes are often funny. Don't let SJW decide what you're allowed to say or even think!

Trying to be nice doesn't hurt you, but don't let someone's made up feelings stop you from speaking your mind.

Yes, indeed, offended is not like accusing for spammer or scammer or insulting any one, just who get offended easily....

My good friend nutildah get easily offended when i say that a thread got "mysteriously deleted"

Everytime i say that the thread got "mysteriously deleted" he get very agressive and insult me.

I have learned to deal with the personality of my friend nutildah over the time, we have a complicated relationship.

My personal opinion is that Viva-e exchange is a scam and is owned by the same operators behind Btc-e and Wex.
I have said this on a thread that was mysteriously deleted from Bitcointalk forum.

Why do you keep saying "mysteriously deleted?" Are you a troll, are you a liar, or are you just stupid? You must be at least one of those things because I and others have explained to you why it was deleted several times. You responded to a self-moderated thread of a banned troll. So either he deleted the thread or a mod deleted it after he was banned. It was the same thread you referenced in your bullshit flag against me.

Also as I've told you before, if you feel so strongly about this issue, open your own thread about it and stop posting about it in this one, as it is off-topic.

I lolled at that, as it's one of my favorite movies.  I really hope the younger folks discover it when they're old enough to be offended by all sorts of things.

By the way, I don't think TOAA is offended by anything.  Everything he and his alts and collaborators express is mock outrage, nothing genuine about it.  Do you think trolls are being honest when they write all the crap they write?  Not at all.  TOAA is as sensitive as a callus.

You won't find me taking offense to much on this forum--but then again I don't think I've been directly attacked in quite a while.  Not sure who would win this contest, and it's interesting to contemplate.  I don't know if I know anyone well enough to judge their true sensitivity.

In my defense, I didn't actually watch the clip again before I posted it, I just found the link on YouTube as I remembered it from before. Obviously I had forgotten his accent, and he is performing on a British show so I incorrectly assumed he was British.

That and the fact that British and Australian accents are equally stupid, so I just lump you all together in my head.
