Well for some countries that has a solid foundation from religion like in the middle east which is dominantly comprises of Islamic countries that sees any kind of gambling as a sin it is illegal. Some are illegal due to different state legislation under federal provisions, for example lottery is prohibited in Washington but not on New Jersey.

you mean people can gain an entry after they pay thier tax ?  and the entry would depend on how much they pay   ? thats cool because its free while this can also encourage people to pay for thier taxes regularly   .

just government would make sure that most part of the tax will still go on the development of a country and not from the prize of the lotto contest  .

Yes it is a tool which many governments are adopting to increase the number of tax payers which really bring good results to the governments as people then do not deny to pay tax when they see a high priced reward in the lottery for paying the tax. Yes it is a tool which many governments are adopting to increase the number of tax payers which really bring good results to the governments as people then do not deny to pay tax when they see a high priced reward in the lottery for paying the tax. Many years ago I heard about a country where people were not paying tax of their television and when the governments started the lottery to give a car in reward then majority of the people registered for paying that tax.

When it comes to lottery we do saw that it isn't deducted with tax but actually it is already deducted before the money goes to the winner.
It depends on a certain country yet the lowest would be 3% and the highest is 8.9% so that's still a huge cut for the prize pot.
But somehow people doesn't care too much as long they do able to hit that sweet spot.Lotteries is indeed one of the ways on accumulating tax and also helps out the government when it comes to funding or to implement some service ex. community service.About the topic which each country local do have its own lottery but cant be sure if there would be online with that.

I'm from Philippines and the lotto here is PCSO lottery which you would guess random numbers that you want and there are different categories, like jackpot and betting on few numbers but the amount of money you could win depends on the bet you place and of course depends on the category you will choose. Every time that no one gets the exact number in lottery game the price of jackpot keeps on increasing and the biggest jackpot that I have ever seen is almost 1.18 billion php (21.8 Million USD). I am looking forward trying my luck in lottery game that's why I'm planning to buy a ticket once my father buys a ticket.

if you are in right age like 18 y/o then you can just buy your own lotto ticket and no need to wait for your father to do it for you,though i can see some outlet that allows youngsters to buy ticket for their parents so basically the government is not that strict in regarding to purchasing power of the public.actually i also buying ticket at least once or twice a week just to try my luck but limiting myself from being intact and engaged to this addicted game,as one of my companion cant help himself and spending almost 20% of his daily wage just to buy tickets and this is addicting.

But I bet you will try your luck again. I can say that because I have also made such statements in the past. The company that runs the lottery game becomes smart, and they change the prize from money into a product so that it will not look like gambling. But still, that is gambling in the other form.

There are state lotteries in many places and you can check them on wikipedia if your country allows or prohibits lottery, like any other game of chance.

As for the OP, you can visit your local bookie and see if they have any 8-12 hourly draws everyday or any state sponsored lottery. These are generally the ones which are legal and legit. You never know which bookie is trying to rig their draws.

I am not a fan of lottery, but for many people it is a fun way of trying them luck. Obviously the chance of winning something big here is very low and that will end up making you lose a lot more than you win.

Betting in Lotto is not easy to win because they have billions of combination numbers and very little for you to get that.
