Anyone wants to take me on a bet Bitcoin price reaches $10,000+ in 5-7 days? After the bitcoin's record breaking network hash rate news come out, BTC lost $300+ (traded below $7k), then gain $500+ within hours.

Why need to bet? We *must of all* are hoping more upward prices of Bitcoin.
But for me, kinda not healthy, pumping for almost $3,000 in just a span of 5-7 days, although we already saw it before, even more on that, what I just want is something healthy on price action.
About network hash rate, I think that's also one of the reasons why we are still not breaking below $5,000, the network has rate continue to grow.

I'd rather put all the money to trading instead of betting with someone just in my opinion at least in trading my own money I have the control of whether lose or not. Plus bitcoin is really unpredictable which is a big risk for both of us especially if we will be betting big money.

I agree with this, bitcoins price movement is not what it is like way back when we saw a rapid price growth way back in 2017 but as I said bitcoin is unpredictable we may or may not see it happen.

you should bet with fake satoshi CSW might win big or other users who predict bitcoin prices will go below $ 5,000, you will find a lot here, I think the same about bitcoin prices with you, I want to know how they maintain their 2020 predictions under $ 5k now, if finally a high hash level will make a difficult decision for big investors to play with prices, it's time 2020 to be a good year for bitcoin and other crypto, I'm on a path that has existed before

I think this is more of a gambling topic if you're looking for someone to bet with bitcoin's price.

But be it, we all want to see that happen with your expected days. If that's about to happen we're going to see a very rapid pump which can also lead to another quick dump so basically it's safer to see a gradual rise than to rapid pumps. Anyway, I'm also counting to see it back to $10k but it's okay if it won't within 5-7 days, I've became more patient now.

Don't get your hopes up too much. It's rising a tiny bit today. Has the same potential to fall just as much tomorrow.

Some say the spike today was because of US bombing Iran. It would be evil to wish they bomb more but at least you find a less good reason in hash rate. $10k is a very sharp spike though, its not possible to happen in 5-7 days. It would have to gain more than 3% a day to reach $10k . Anyway, I can only see such article in cryptozink, not on popular crypto site.

I think is easy for bitcoin reaches above $10k in the next five to seven days because to close with bitcoin halving will make many investor have try for investing in bitcoin and could give effect for bitcoin back to higher price, I optimist your betting become winner because you prediction about bitcoin in seven days later will reaches higher price above $10k.

rising or not bitcoin prices I think we should see it together, rather than having to bet right or wrong. it is better to attach your research so that other people can be helped by the results of your research. rather than having to make a bet that not all members like.

It would be a difficult feat to achieve. Bitcoin would reach over $10k in March or April as we still have Chinese new year coming.
One of the largest individual investors of bitcoin are from China and the largest festival in China would have an effect on the price.
After the new year, the upcoming halving would boost the price of bitcoin.

i am very fond in people expressing extra positivities in regards to bitcoin price specially when bear is on the market.i also wait for this kind of pump and i think it can happen.

but of course i dont want to put on myself from expectation because Halving is months away and Pump might not because of that upcoming season.

Are you crazy? You are just hoping too much. For me it is impossible to see that the bitcoin to reach $10,000 in the next 7 days. Why we would believe you? You are just speculating and it seems that you do not know what you are talking about. It is not about the fast growth of the hash rate. We should be realistic because the price of the bitcoin will not easily surpass the resistance levels.

I guess that's too short to witness 10K again, I know it happened last year, even less than 24 hours but it will not happen all the time.
I believe bitcoin will rise but chances of your prediction happening is likely very low.

Most users have got the same feeling, but everyone have the hope that the price will recover soon. There is nothing to bet with the price of bitcoin. Price change with bitcoin happens in no time, reaching $10000 is simple as it is just around $3000 away from the current market price of bitcoin.

It would be great but I highly doubt that Bitcoin will reach $10k in 5 - 7 days.  Fundamentally, BTC price increase because of certain major events such as a huge institution adopting it, and I have not read any news like that.  If it goes up to $10k in that span of time, I would be very careful because it might be a bull trap.

I think hashing means more people are into mining it has nothing to do with price. Price is directly linked with factors like adoption, government acceptance. 500$ spike is nothing new about bitcoin. I am with all others wanted to see bitcoin at 10k but with current rate it looks a bit difficult but who knows bitcoin can do that.

I don't think this is going to happen because as we can see, the price of bitcoin is really on the down state. It is really impossible for it to rise up to 10k USD. But you know, we are all hoping that the price of it will rise up because that is all we want. If that happens, bitcoin community will for surely gonna be happy.
