If you really expect that the price of bitcoin depends upon the amount of hash rate it has then i will bet you on that as the price of bitcoin does not rally looking at the hash rate but the opposite, with the halving coming up it is expected that miners will be looking to earn the maximum profit during this time and hence we are seeing a higher hash rate so that they can profit when the market rises.

I not agree with bet, but agree with price pumped. Actually thread that say bitcoin price will pumped make me happy. But maybe that price with only 1 week usually bitcoin price move slowly but sure. Maybe in future it can reach $10k and more, but in 1 week maybe i 50/50.

How much are you wiling to bet? Besides today there is an abnormal surge in transactions due to the "proof of keys" event, you shouldn't use it as indication of anything.

But, i'm willing to accept the chance that bitcoin price might reach those levels at some point before the halving.

If you're Bitcoin holder then It's better to have patience instead of having expectations on this concern I also think the price could hit $10k mark but not in 5-7 days I think it can take a month or more to hit $10k mark anyway I hope Bitcoin will perform good this year.

How sure you are that it can reach that value in the next 5-7 days when no one controls the value of it and know when it will rise or go down. Bet is useless for me what is important now is to hold until the price of it pumped again.

Well that's quite interesting, so much hope at this moment is great and optimism brings so much motivation for anybody else who keep in faith with Bitcoin's fluctuation which I can say is a not that far to think of since people were starting to recognize Bitcoin again and reconsidering its potentials really impressed me a lot but for now we have to stay in focus on how we can possibly earn and invest in here.

I wouldn't take that bet with you. Honestly, I am not really sure when will bitcoin gain 10k dollars again since the market has been very confusing still. It's not a bad thing that you are being optimistic about bitcoin's value but I would still suggest that you set up a back up plan if ever what you predicted will not happen. Bitcoin halving is near and it is expected to make a better outcome for bitcoin's value so that's what we should pay attention right now, we should set our investments ready for what's coming.

Reaching to $10k in just 5-7days? And looking at how the market moves by now, it seems to be not possible. I don't think that the massive increase of hash rates will correlate to the market price to moves instantly. It is only considered if it sustains such flows for many days with improving numbers but if it drops off, $10k could be hopeless.

I don't think that bitcoin will reach it's price to $10 K in just 5-7 days because it is impossible for bitcoin to make a sudden improvement if the market is down today. But i really hope that your predictions will happen because we are really waiting for bitcoin to increase it's price this year for us to recover all of our losses.

I think hashing means more people are into mining it has nothing to do with price. Price is directly linked with factors like adoption, government acceptance. 500$ spike is nothing new about bitcoin. I am with all others wanted to see bitcoin at 10k but with current rate it looks a bit difficult but who knows bitcoin can do that.

An increase in the total hash rate does not necessarily mean there are more "people" buying. It could have been just a miners who bought more rigs or replaced the old ones with new, more powerful ones while selling the old, inefficient or recycling the components.

Moreover when hash rate increases the difficulty does the same thing thus the production cost of Bitcoin should increase especially for miners with low financial resources.

Bitcoin’s network hash rate hitting a new record shows that this year market will be awesome which can be justified by the market recovery but that does mean bitcoin will surge to the price you mentioned in just fews days buddy.

I believe the OP is from the US and if the US said bet like that it doesnt mean gambling or put money on it but an expression of assurance.

i am very fond in people expressing extra positivities in regards to bitcoin price specially when bear is on the market.i also wait for this kind of pump and i think it can happen.

but of course i don't want to put on myself from expectation because Halving is months away and Pump might not because of that upcoming season.

Let's be realistic that kind pump cant happens now until halving take place unless if the market is manipulated but such play will lead to early market corrections before halving.

you'd lose this bet. $10k in 5-7 days isn't easy to achieve. in a week will not be possible, you are too optimistic about it but i would expect dumps after this pump. there will be a lot of pumps and dumps these days. the price of BTC i think will keep this price from $7k-7500 for weeks, its been for several weeks too bad not any whales are plotting to break the resistance.

well we are growing now,from $6k level now we are back to $7k and i think there is something good will happen this week.
and being realistic is indeed but we must have some positive views sometimes to help boost our trust in market because if not?we will fall from for sure.

I don't yet trust this speculation, but let's see. if this thread was made on the 2nd, then the $ 10k price should have been reached on the 7th or 9th of this January. actually I'm still quite worried about this, I believe that the price of bitcoin can reach $ 10k before halving, but it seems heavy enough to be achieved this month.
