The only thing coming for sure is coin halving in mid of 2020. Rest Libra still facing strong resistance from USA congress, its launch is still uncertain.
Regarding ICO/IEO my stance is that there game is very much over. Not many have given any due return. So there is no advantage of investing in ICO/IEO.

I don't know for sure but it looks like there will still be people who invest in it even with far fewer enthusiasts. IEO is more effective because it will definitely be listed on the exchange, this is the reason most investors leave ICO that is uncertain and full of the words "soon" when it will be listed on the exchange

Yes, Libra is so hot when facebook announcing to have their own coin but it vanishes already after the SEC comprising their launches. Having that point, Libra has losses its future in crypto. What we are looking now is to see a positive impact fo halving and for sure, all of us here anticipating already for the possible bullish trend.

I' hope that the market will show good sign in 2020, but i am expecting a big bullrun will happen in early 2021. I know that lots of people still wait to see big bullrun this year, but i think the best time is next year because many countries start to accept crypto and apply crypto tech to lots of real life product. IEO has made ICO a thing of the past. But they cannot beat what ICO has achieved way back when it was the main way used by crypto projects to do crowdfunding. Billions were raised through ICO.

I think IEO will indeed be an investment project targeted this year, and ICO is starting to disappear. however, IEO is very good at the moment. other than that, I'm one of those who is waiting for the launch of libra, I want to see whether libra can bring crypto to be more accepted or not. however. the effects of libra will also have an effect on bitcoin. IEO was effective in collecting KYC from investors of altcoins. During ICO days the teams are collecting KYC data from investors but then someone from the above thinks it must be exchanges who shall take these information. I really thin the ones we should be doing this year is to avoid all these centralized exchanges and put more volume to the DEX.

well time will tell about libra and what this can bring to the market,there are tons of advertisement happen this year about this Libra but many of them are abusive and also scammers so the effect might be negative and positive

for me?i believe that ICO first need to bring proof that scamming is not around and profit will be their first priority because investors are tired for the 2 years of scamming from 2018-2019

My answer would be no, in general. People have seen enough of ICOs to realize that the majority of them are simply ploys to make money for the founders and once they do, the founders will abandon the project one way or another and move onto the next one potentially even under a different name.

That said, there is potential for ICOs in the form of angel investments to thrive in 2020 with the institutional space more mature and willing to invest. However, the criteria is obviously much higher and genuine development needs to be seen for anyone to be willing to invest. It won't be as easy as 2017.

People will invest when projects are obviously up and running. One example of this is the Telegram ICO which they gathered about $1.7B. For me, it might depends on the projects like you found a promising ICO project that will brings you good profit, do you think you will not invest because for me, I will risk my money to invest as long I know I will earn good profit. Even all of us witness different failed and scam ICO's there is still a few ICO project that will have a great future. Not all IEO project are success that's why it still depend on the project whether its good or not. We already enter in the year 2020 and still there is no changes in the market like in bitcoin which is become more stable. But, I still hope for a better market for this year.

Apart from the two big events this year that you mentioned earlier, there is one more big event that until now there is no clarity: "Bitcoin ETF". Hopefully in Q1 this year the US SEC accepts the Bitcoin ETF proposal.
And for IEO I think this trend is not dead, it's just weakening due to the weakening impact of the crypto market, when the market recovers, IEO will also recover.

IEO will help investors be safe when investing and not afraid to encounter scam projects. And all of these exchanges are just trying to steal money from investors, without any profitable projects.

If trends really change to IEO, then developers will start a lot of IEO and no matter what exchange that they use to held it. And then it is up to us, people who want to make investment to pick which IEO that really good to join. Yes, I agree with you that the year 2020 will be full of exciting events that will change the market situation for the better, This is what we are waiting for, Although IEO is safer than ICO until listing projects for IEO on weak or scam exchange platforms may also expose investor money to loss, In my opinion, the conscious investor is the one who can choose the good project carefully even if it is ICO or IEO through the advice of experts and sufficient information about any project through which he knows whether he will lose his money or will his investment get a return.
