But here's the question, if the market goes bullish and altcoins are pumping, do you think when there is an ICO, people are still going to invest?

personally I believe they will not because there an IEO already but I like to hear yours.

this year it looks like several platforms will be updating. like ethereum, bitcoin, and libra will also enliven the market this year. there is hope to see the market seem to improve. but we just hope that everything we want can happen this year.

I cannot believe people actually still think ICOs can be a good idea. There might be maybe 2 or 3 ICOs that will make money in 2020,,, but I doubt they will be clearcut projects, and most normal investors will not be able to find it.

Save time, save heart problems,,, just go into Bitcoin this year and now before it hits 10k. Then we can be fine.

in fact, our view of ICO today is almost the same. based on experience from previous years, ICO pretty much made us disappointed. not only in terms of profit, but even in the bounty issue also sometimes it's disappointing.
however, investing in ICO is not as popular as it used to be. To date, many have assumed that IEO will replace ICO. however, IEO is better than ICO. it will be very good if this year the price starts to recover, and IEO is gaining in popularity.

for now, IEO is indeed a better solution than ICO. but when looking at the performance of IEO so far not many projects have succeeded successfully with IEO. most markets are not strong enough and are very easy to dump

Let us just wait for the bull runs to come with full force this year definitely there is going to be turn around for ICOs and IEOs that is my own opinion, the lacklustre or dismal performances of ICOs and IEOs is attributed to the bearish market of cryptos, recalled in 2017 many ICOs were successful then when the market was bullish.

Investing in ICO and IEO is indeed full of risks, especially with the current project performance, very few successful projects. Very many investors are disappointed because of the results of a project that does not reach the target.
Ideally, for the time being we play for sure, investing in BITCOIN will be a very good solution, and we can anticipate all the risks that might occur. Invest safely, it will make us comfortable.

Don't congratulate Libra for any success yet, because it's not transparent for their plans. In fact it was very unpredictable, and people always wonder when this project be available. Are they having an IEO or something that attracts the public? Nowadays, it's always certain to remain strong supporter for bitcoin, that's why investments for bitcoin became more important than other asset.

May be there will be a few ones who are still putting hopes with ICO but I doubt that those few ones are going to be foolish. Well, if there will be, they may be new comers or those who are lack of knowledge about investing.

Yes, majority are shifting to IEO however it ain't still a secured stuff for us to invest with. Scammers are doing the same thing, they are as well making their move, shifting to IEO, same motives but pretty sure different approach. There will be no ending there, 'cause bottom line here is that we to furthermore analyze the project itself and not the Initial Offering they are up with.

If we do see the emergence of a bull market this year, then I think it is likely to be more for the existing and well-established coins. The days of huge successes for ICOs and even IEOs are I think long gone. Maybe they will return, maybe not, but for a long time now the prices of good alts have been much lower than their ATHs, and I think that if money comes to alts it will see gains for established coins much more than money coming into brand new projects.

IEO is not a good Solution right now and you must see the ROI chart from the latest IEO that already ended on binance and almost all of them were bringing the investors into the lose.

Yeah, the ico project will continue to work and improve their services to attract investor confidence. Although there are still some investors who still believe in Ico's performance, but the amount is very small.
The presence of IEO increasingly makes ICO overwhelmed to attract investors back, because IEO is safer and the coins are held directly by the exchange, and investors are just waiting for the Open market.

Doesn't matter if people invest into ICO or IEO or STO, as long as there is funding for new coins that means a greenlight to keep continue creating new coins. Sure it takes a lot more effort to get funding from an IEO because you need to get an exchange to like you enough to list you and get you funding but that is good for all of us since that means before we do our own research about a currency, the exchange does it for us and eliminates most of them and only publish some of them.

Definitely, we still need to do our own research but at least it allows us to check out lesser and lesser in numbers which is an improvement to ICO where anyone can do it and we need to check all of them which takes too much time. Hopefully in couple of years there will be even more strict rules to create your own currency.

That's a joke dude, some trusted ico can still run their icos even the market are in the bearish momentum. That depends on how good the developer is. So many icos have hold their project caused by they have no enough skill to develop the product. Even if they have been doing it and as the result they are still become a scam project right now. There is not guarantee if hold the project means such project will deliver a fully working product. That's just a trick for them because they didn't wanna sell their native coins at the bottom.

yeah tons of them are scammers and there is no doubt about that but always remember that there are some good one that has no enough Budget so they are still seeking for investors and development to attract investors.

If a cryptocurrency coin will bullish this year maybe they have a little increase will have interest to invest to ICO but not more I guess because I really believe even we are experience bull run maybe in the future the history of the ICO will not easy to erase because investors inluding me think the ICO is scam and for sure people will not take risk again to that kind of investment.

Hopefully we see uptrends in crypto this year 2020. I think bitcoin halving events will create a spark to boost up the bitcoin price. About Libra coin i think this will not happen this year because global regulators are against about it for the reason that they are worried because they think it competes with sovereign currencies like the dollar.

About ICO and IEO,  i think long term investors does not care about bullish or bearish market in terms of investing because they are always searching good and legit crypto projects as long as they like the concepts of the project and they believe that the project has the potential to succeed  even if it is bullish or bearish market they are always ready to invest.
