But ever since prices started to decline back in 2018, there has been a lost of interest into crypto and Blockchain tech from people in the mainstream world.

It's now 2020, where many exciting events are yet to come. Bitcoin will experience another reduction in its block reward (halving), while Ethereum becomes closer to adopting PoS into its blockchain network. The space is definitely maturing, but the level of demand is still a lot less than it was back in 2017.

Nonetheless, I'm curious to know what's the next big thing in crypto?

Mass adoption? Stable coins made by some famous companies and even countries? Tokenisation and STOs rise? Something like that I think, but it's always hard to predict.

at least it should continue to be adopted so that there will be a real use of crypto in many sectors, after all the digital era has grown and i'm sure with regulations made by the government, the use of crypto can be done more broadly for its use in the payment system and other transactions

- Libra's development progress and blockchain implementation
- Digital cash created by the government
- Result of the TON's case with regulator
- Mimble wimble litecoin and bitcoin

I just expect more to come as the developers in the crypto are still running their development progress properly. The big thing can come from the various parties and I think almost the pair to the all of fiats money will available in the future.

I agree with the digital cash made by the government because it is more reliable and safe, but the other point I am less interested because of a few days backward, the information of the Libra progress dimmed whether it is true still in the resume or stop Discreetly. Hopefully can be launched their development so that crypto can be more advanced in the future.

just to compare with another alts i prefer ZCASH actually, it same like BTC but more anon, if my analyst still intact this coin surely more prospect beside ethereum ( just like my username ..lol ).
Basically alts still following BTC trend but more dynamically in own its way. Well nobody knows what happens in futures right? but I optimistic about crypto industries will soon change the way of the economy of this world and open more opportunities for people which offering more than fiat.

That article is about the implementation of mimble wimble and as far as I know mimble wimble can be also implemented into the bitcoin as it fits litecoin chain. Some people have already expected if the litecoin supporters are also interesting to put this as off-chain development for bitcoin.

Normal smart people do not give money to anyone. Any project that raises funds from small investors is generally doomed to failure. All these ICOs became successful only after a major investment and with a successful development and a good idea.

This will happen if your mind is long and has a solution to the problem that arises now. Bad things keep popping up if you have negative thoughts that can't be changed.

Do you that it's really going to be applicable to bitcoin very soon? The test should be successful with Litecoin and if that happens then the core team should apply it then, however, I think we're still far looking from that day that MW will be applied to bitcoin.
It's more of the altcoins for now but we'll see if the core team will be focusing on it someday.

Blockchain and cryptocurrency are indeed one of the biggest evolutions in economics and technology in this decade. This provides many controversial changes and opportunities for some people and even some countries that prohibit them related to anonymity and abuse. But, behind it all there are enormous benefits if able to adapt well.
I do not know, what changes will occur with certainty, what is clear in the coming years will be more and more adoption of blockchain and cryptocurrency in everyday life. It is likely that later it will be easier to make payments using cryptocurrency even though it is micro.

Another block reward reduction is in May this year. I think we could see this effect of halving Q4 this year or next year. Another great news is Bitcoin again up 8k. Next should be altcoins season or simple up this could be of altcoin season. Some new altcoins did a bullrun at the time of last year pump, this year this could be big thing.
