Basically the answer is: because crypto casinos are less greedy than fiat ones, and give customers superior opportunities to play more time using less money, if they wish.

I also didn’t put any of my bank details or fiat account in any site unless really needed or it’s a bank related transactions. Why use your identity or input card details in playing when you can play only without putting details of yourself and just enjoy many casino or games. Thankfully crypto provides ways to pay without any worries of being track and allow us also to gambling and at the same time to earn thru trading or investing. Being not monitored by any bank when there is always a need for transaction or happening in our account feels safer to do gambling. If only there will be more online local shops that we can also pay thru crypto then there will be no need for me to use any bank in paying for online transactions.

It's understandable even if the casino claim to be anonymous they do not want to be a transit of money laundering they ask KYC to VIP randomly to make sure that if ever there is an issue about a large deposit they can always trace the player.

Not the case on some casinos that we do have today yet there are whales who had been confirming that they arent submitting any KYC despite on betting hundreds of thousands of dollars on their gambling activity

As a gambler or being a whale then you wont really be having no options but to submit but if you do mind about anonymity then you would be finding out other places or would simply stick on where you are playing on.

We are really heading on such changes it might not or cant be seen as of this moment but we are gradually seeing platforms which had been pressured for them to apply KYC into its users where these

While for me it's because of my sig campaign.    I have a weekly inflow of 80 bucks of BTC to bet on sports which is really enough to keep me entertained tbh.  I'm not a whale or anything.  I just like to watch football, MMA and F1 with or without bets but if I have free monies coming in weekly then why not gamble and try to win more, not that it matters.  It's all fun...  It'd be nice if crypto had a poker site with good traffic at the microstakes so we could have a chance to build a decent roll.  I think that's what's lacking in the space.

There are few things that are definitely worth better than offline gambling when it comes to it :
1. COVID you don't have to worry about it since it's way safer to bet online and there are much more options available

So far i do have experienced on having that basic kyc or information needed which is on Roobet on where it do ask out about your very basic details without any verification or sending out some documents which is really a light one but there are still people who do sees this thing to be not that appealing but it doesnt really affect in overall popularity and reputation

If it's at a casino, I haven't done any detailed KYC verification, which makes me think less of it. But if I find some casinos asking me to do KYC one day, maybe I will leave that casino and find another one that doesn't ask for KYC.

in most of the cases you are required to complete the KYC the exact moment you go for a large withdrawal , so you can rest assured you will not leave their casino so easily

Of course, the government will impose its will in any area it can reach. The meaning of decentralization is precisely this - if we cannot defeat cancer in direct confrontation, we are looking for a way where this cancer has no power and there is not even a "representative" of the project on which to put pressure. An ideal decentralized project would be just that.
