Using cryptocurrency as a gambling money is very easy to use and the transaction is instant, usually when I am going to gamble I will use XRP for instant transaction, deposit or withdrawing it will be always instant. And one of the perks of gambling online is no hassle at all, just sit on your gaming chair or just lay on your bed while gambling, you can do anything you want, when you win there's no people that is going to ask to share your winning, and when you lose there's no people that are going to look down to you. Gambling alone is a good thing for me and I enjoy it.

The only thing that is not good for online gambling is when you internet connection is become slow, or you miss clicked and go all in for one bet. LOL

I think 'cannot bet in your location' is the major reason why people tune to crypto gambling. In some countries, even if gambling is not explicitly illegal but still looked sceptically by society and banks. Banks can easily track if someone using fiat gambling platforms like Bet365. This may results into freezing of bank accounts and other problems. Better play on crypto sites. If done carefully then there is 0% of getting caught of playing casino with cryptocurrencies. Mixers and no-KYC exchanges have made lives easier.

Convenience is the main thing why I gamble using cryptocurrencies. There are other digital currencies but I do prefer to use cryptos because it protects my anonymity and also, the transactions cost less and faster compared to other digital currencies.
To be specific, I do not gamble really and the first time I gamble is due to the influence of crypto in a way that there are cryptos which are from projects related to gambling or gambling sites in particular. I did engage into such activity to make use of the tokens I've earned from projects than to just store it in my wallet.
Then eventually, I am gambling to kill time using some of my holdings. I also did try comparing it to other currencies being used in online gambling but I just find it more convenient , using cryptos to gamble.

That is why people nowadays like to playing gambling in a crypto gambling site. People can avoid the tracking from the banks because if they use crypto when they send the coins to another wallet, the banks would not know who is people behind of that wallet. Besides that, when people use crypto, they can use mixing services before they send the coins to the gambling sites. That will help them to hide the wallet and the identity, and they can playing gambling without worry about the investigating for their bank accounts.

As much as possible I want to stay anonymous while gambling so I gambling in crypto gambling sites and I feel that here in the space, it's also getting more competitive as the number of casinos have increase and therefore this makes the competition better.

When I gamble in crypto, most of the time I use my btc than other coins because most of the sites I use are accepting bitcoin and it's more convenient in my end to convert btc into fiat if given a chance to cash out from a win.

Gambling with crypto can allow you to have twice(could be more) the value of your winnings as crypto prices can go to the moon at any pointing time.

I am doing a little research on WHY people are betting /gambling online with btc/crypto from various countries/states worldwide, and was hoping bitcointalk members  can be of some assistance.
I would specifically like to know (if you happen use crypto to gamble online) why you do so.

eg is it because you:

• can pay Less vig in some cases?
• wider game selection can gamble on games like minesweeper, paper rock scissors and other novelty games?
• "provably fair" games
• cannot bet in your current location
• crypto sites might offer markets unavailable elsewhere
• others ?

any info appreciated, if you can give me your state/country that would be helpful too for context.

the advantage of playing here is that we can at least hold the currency after gambling or even while playing so in any case that market Goes Up then we can make another amount of money?and if the value falls then we are safer to play more.

that is incorrect mate,because there are much many countries that allows gamble than banning this.there are only few countries that has tight policy against gambling but there are more adopting this for theirs.

I gamble because of this forum and bitcoins. Yes, gambling is not possible in my country yet I do hear lottery and horse riding kind of few types alone available but there is not big casinos in my city with slots machines or anything you may find in Las Vegas.

I use crypto because I gamble online and I gamble with other country based houses where my fiat may not be accepted (honestly I never checked availability of bank transfers in my local fiats). Interestingly I has bought 1000s of lottery in freebitco.in but never tried with fiat in my local shop. Cryptos must be the reason for my gambling.

Don't rely with this. It is not recommended to bypass any country's law regarding online gambling.

If a user is not an enthusiast of using a VPN, their ISP provider will detect the gambling activity of their subscribers.

And did you know that for some country wherein online gambling is prohibited, these ISPs can even able to track the gambling activity of their users even while using a VPN. It's now a matter of taking risks and hoping for a chance that these users will not get caught.

On topic: I use crypto to gamble simply because I keep crypto on hand. I don't like giving away my personal information, so using fiat casinos no longer interests me. Plus, I had a terrible experience at a real-life casino so I prefer to stay online now.

Crypto is useful as a divider to cash I must pay bills with, also I receive crypto as payment for in game items.   Sometimes the bet I make is on esports or computer based competition and games so its all part of the same economy and one part balances out the other.    I'd really rather not be flipping back and forth into FIAT which has its own problems of losing value and right now has little benefits from bank interest available so why not crypto.   
   Also crypto can be way less hassle, quicker to transfer even then a bank account.   Not all but some of my banks take upto 30 minutes to acknowledge the transfer is made, its just a pain and everything you do on a bank statement is recorded and used for a credit history which I really dont need the bother of as I know I only gamble quite small amounts.

I think because crypto is no hassle to used in gambling site tha's why many players used it, also some gambling site operated by crypto so its really need to have it. I think having a crypto then used it in any transaction is really helpful especially when we want a fast transaction and for online site. For me crypto is really helpful not only for gambler but when holding it can possible give you profit.

Value pertains to the price of the crypto you're holding. I think of it as another reason too, if you hold a certain cryptocurrency which you will use to gamble and you've been holding it for a long time, the price matters. If you bought it at a very cheap price before and you have decided to spend it through gambling.
It's a good reason because you don't have to gamble all of it but just a pinch and with a specific amount.

In terms of value you can simply adjust your funds depending with your fiat bankroll, though you also gamble with the value

Then you will choose the easiness to play gambling with crypto than with fiat because you can visit the gambling site and play some games without worry about getting a ban or investigation from where is the money. I just follow trend and use digital money is more effective than currency. First I got speed transaction, under 10 minutes my deposit and withdraw are finish. Second reason crypto have volatility sometimes I got more value from their movement. Last reason is because I don't need to bank, all I need is laptop and network.
