[IDEA]Walter Moore Sketch coin

Hello fellow collectors!

A few days ago dolphriends contacted me offering the possibility of making a coin out of a sketch made by the cartoonist Walter Moore:




We were thinking on a limited edition of 50 coins, made in .999 fine silver with a weight of 1 Troy oz.

I believe this sketch is a baseball drawing. It s a nice design. I think if you decide to make coin out of this drawing, the coin has to  be elevated up towards the middle so that it will look baseball. It is just an idea.

For crypto collectors the analogy can be that BTCitcoin is like a BTCasketball as it always bounces back. Will it have a holo on the back? If it does I would expect a new holo design, preferably with numbers that are easily visible.

Yes, will have the holo, but not going to change it.   This is the first sport to arrive on the crypto coin scene from the very exciting and early on cryptoimperator.  These coins will be numbered and very limited.

I like CI’s holo don’t get me wrong, but I think not using a special holo for this coin would be a big miss being a design well out of the norm.  Example of something - while moving the coin left to right you could show a player dribbling and dunking..obviously utilizing the movements of a hologram. Could do a lot of cool stuff.  Just imho.

That does sound pretty cool, that is something CI would have to address.  I really don't know the costs of something like that

I wanted something new to start the decade with and hoping the forum will rally around something a little out of the norm like adding a sport.  If this does really well I will discuss with CI the possibility of a series with hockey and a few other sports.  For now we need to see the interest level for this coin and how limited this coin will be.  Certain particulars will only be able to be answered by CI.  I am hoping for a large turnout so we can make this happen

Thanks GP.  Crypto B-Balls I hope will be something new and exciting for the collectors here. As crypto finds its way into the sports world I'm sure collectors might want to have the first crypto coin that brought basketball into focus.  I also discussed the possibility of a few gold gilt on the ball maybe just a handful that way maybe #1 through #10.  Trying to get a feel for interest right now to gauge all this.

This idea is really starting to excite me, especially with maybe a select few being a gold gilt variation.
