I think the information about bitcoin in our real life is very little or can be nothing, we only can found it on invest lessons, economic seminar or search on google. The first kind investment i know is stocks and mutual funds only because these kind more easy to find. I joinned the stocks class 2 years ago,
I have attended many classes but I still don't get profit from it. On Maret 2019 the volume and price of stocks is keep dropping till now, so i quit it. Then, i know about bitcoin on April 2019 from someone youtube channel. I very interested about it and want to learn it. I have spend many time to learn it, but its hard and i got headache . So, i decided to find some forum about bitcoin to get more information. I found bitcointalk.org and registered it. Here i know so many people in the world is interest in bitcoin and i'am motivated to learn more from other member who have many bitcoin experience

How you guys can know bitcoin? Who are the main person introduced about bitcoin for you? And how can you guys joinning this forum? Feel free to give your opinions

I have attended many classes but I still don't get profit from it.

there is two problems with this. most classes aren't really that useful to begin with and more importantly you can only make profit from trading (whether it is stocks or anything else) by gaining experience in the market itself not by attending multiple courses, classes, workshops,...

Then, i know about bitcoin on April 2019 from someone youtube channel.

i'd stay away from youtube channels specially if they are price related and giving you "signals". they have little to no understanding of how the bitcoin market works.

You are yet to ask a specific question, there as so many aspects to bitcoin(mining,btc wallets,trading etc), and asking to know about bitcoin is not just enough and just means you have to start reading and limit the questions, or else you will likely fall into the hands of scammers.

I'll rather learn in this forum, than on youtube, I don't really like their policy on security(too many fake and scam videos, yet it takes them time to take it down), unlike here, we have dedicated users who regularly update newbies on how to be safe from scammers.

It's really sucks to see those things since there information is misleading and might they will provide a wrong info to the newbies since sometimes they are been brought to some MLM or other ponzi schemes which could lead for them to fall down, But luckily there's a forum like this where new people could seek some guidance to know which of those schemes on crypto industries is worth to spend some time and which is not.

Keep dropping? The stock market are in a freakin ultra bull market. You'd have to be really REALLY bad in picking stocks to actually lose money. I mean, take a look at the S&P500! If you really had money in the SPY since March of 2019 and held till now, you'd have made 16% in less than a year, which is good for a sort of 'safer' investment in my book.

And if you actually sold early just because the prices are "dropping", then you need to take control over your emotions or stop investing overall.

i know bitcoin when people share stellar, people get some free stellar just by verifying his facebook, so i trying to get some too, after that i do earning a lot from some free coin like XRB, today bounty is very famous, people trying to get as much as possible, but some new token/coin have bad performance, so we can get very cheap value from our freecoin right now.

At first, I only know small information about bitcoin because what I have been introduced is only joining ICOs and earn erc-20 tokens then exchanged to bitcoin but later on I know that joining bounty is not much profitable on the time I have been participating and mostly ICOs are scam or fraud until I did some research and asking questions like newbie did at first.

Media channels for most of the time tend to promote bitcoin in a bad-light and more importantly they would be spitting up their minimal knowledge in explaining what bitcoin is all about. Some of these channels tend to showcase them as something similar to a decentralized mutual fund investment scheme and some tend to name them scam. Bitcoin is more or less a global currency in general and they have no correlations with these trading funds or mutual investments. As pooya87 said, trading stocks can be learnt from prior experiences and same goes with the understanding of cryptocurrencies.

A simple analogy can be brought upon here comparing bitcoin and stocks : Can stocks be used to buy groceries from supermarket? Bitcoin can be used as a currency in the online commerce and comparing them with stocks is a stupid way of teaching a newbie. Some youtube channels tend to showcase bitcoin in its true value by helping others understand the purpose of the invention in more simpler way. Try to consider bitcoin as a currency and start reading "Mastering Bitcoin", "Internet of Money Vol 1-2" books. Once you get to reach the final page of these, your thought on bitcoin would change completely and you would start noticing bitcoin in a newer way. Coming to your question, I got to know about bitcoin from an economic news.

We're on the internet era and everything can be found with the use of it. So, those classes that you have with stocks probably can be found on the web too. It's okay to watch youtube channels but you should be careful of who to believe with what they say.

If they start to direct their viewers to buy a specific coin then that's a sign that you should not be following him because it's for his own personal gain. I know that there are still youtube channels that are true to their viewers and you just have to find them and you'll understand the sense of what they are saying for being honest.

I do somewhat relate to your situation because ive been in stocks and forex wayback but opposite of yours where i do managed to make some profits
but when i do know about crypto and tried and compared the profits then its entirely different and this is the main reason why i jumped immediately
and later on i do study more about it when it comes to basic principles and its true usage aside from making money.

The one who do introduce to me about bitcoin or crypto is my friend telling me that he do know some methods or ways on making more money aside from forex trading.

I was fortunate to know someone who was into cryptocurrency so the moment I picked interest, I had someone who was giving me guidelines. I knew about bitcoin for quite a very long time now but only picked up interest recently.

I got to know about the forum from an article I read from one of the cryptocurrency news media source (suspecting it's coindeck). The article was saying negative things about the forum but still I knew for a forum that has been the backbone of the community, most of those review must have been written just for viewers seek.

I guess I was lucky to hear about bitcoin from my good friend.
Media in my country became interesting in btc in 2017 when btc price jump to the sky 😁
I'm not aware that in my country we have any course about btc so only way to learn about btc is to find available info online.
I hope it will change in the future.

At the end of 2017, I was introduced by a friend about bitcoin. But I am not very interested because I have never traded anything, even investments like forex and others. I was very stupid and didnt want to know more at first, but in early March 2018 I was recommended to create a bitcointalk account, with the aim that I could get more information and join the bounty program.

Being a bounty hunter at first, with the hope that I get a lot of capital from the work I have done. But the fact is that there is no bounty that really results for me. I can find out more about bitcoin when I try to improve the quality of posts. This clearly requires me to read more from various references and I decided to stop being an altcoin hunter for a while and continue to work to improve the quality and knowledge of forums and bitcoin.

When it comes to anything about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, Bitcointalk and Youtube is the best place, there are a lot of videos about Bitcoin for dummies and there are hundreds of so-called that will give you analysis on how to make profit on Bitcoin, Bitcoin is not a secret anymore it's just your interest that needs to awaken.

I was very lucky to find out about bitcoin very early before 2014, I was looking on google how to make money online.
And I found a video explaining Bitcoin I was sold about the concept right away, mainly because you didnt need any banks with Bitcoin.
I found the forum later on when trying to find out how to mine Bitcoin, and stayed here ever since

Most people (myself included) simply see the word "bitcoin" somewhere on the Internet and a mention that it is some form of money, then they google it and in one of the first results they get bitcoin.org, which is pretty much the official site of Bitcoin. It's full of useful information and links for beginners, and then people usually start hanging out around this forum or the subreddit, and maybe read some books. It's really not that hard to start with Bitcoin, you just have to be curious.

I know Bitcoin when a friend on Facebook shares about the faucet. And I tried to learn it, initially, it was difficult and needed patience considering earn from the faucet was very little first to follow the price of Bitcoin which was still cheap when 2014. After enough capital I tried trading at Bittrex and gradually my capital increased, although of course I suffered losses due to lack of knowledge about trading. from year to year earn profit from crypto is easier especially in 2017, many Altcoins can be profitable

the same experience, I was really lucky at that time to have a facebook friend who shared about bitcoin, I was surprised there was a coin that had a price 1000 usd and coincidentally at that time I was unemployed so I was interested to learn it, and I was told about this forum until for now I keep earn on this forum and get a lot of bitcoin in this forum too. as well as the knowledge that I have gained in this forum.
