actually, in my country, some celebrities have used and used bitcoin, but that is not for daily use, but they use it as a tool for investment.
I know some artists because of some news coverage about it. I think this development will become more widespread. however, celebrities are also investors.

I agree,  infact they cant really focus or give all they time with crypto because they are busy on their work.  They really just do investment to get some profit that can add to their financial income.

Celebrities are financially very stable, and they have done many big investments in multiple trades.  I don’t think so getting profit and adding more into their financial pocket is the only reason why celebrities invest in the crypto market. Bitcoin is an inventing industry so it is attracting them also, some are also doing it for a better cause as Bill Gates invested a huge amount of money in this market being worried about environment and those who are not financially stable.

In my opinion, celebrities who use Bitcoin will be more like they want to create a sensation. So they won't be left behind in the entertainment world.

Other than that, there are a few things that support the fact that celebrities are not interested in the cryptocurrency world (at least for now).

• Cryptocurrency is not a safe investment for people who are not really into it or people who aren't able to put pretty much effort in this field.
• Cryptocurrency is not stable, not recommended for daily transactions.
• One of the reasons for people to look into cryptocurrency is anonymity or privacy. So why would celebrities waste their time to hide their money if paparazzi or media are always exposing their wealth and how much they earn every time.

Celebrities are humans just like us and they are affected in the same way like us. Bitcoin is getting adoption and more and more people are buying it. same way celebrities are jumping into crypto market to have there share from this emerging technology, its really that simple.

I think its a sign that a great potential or opportunity to make our own crypto coin is possible. But of course those celebrities are just very fortunate to have adequate funds for it. Money matters at its best value. Its all about how you utilize your assets and today bitcoin is one of the options in investments.

I don't see any point in us creating our new cryptocurrency if that's what you mean. Heck, I don't even see a point into talking about who's using bitcoin right now. As long as they support it and see it as a cryptocurrency more than its profitability, then bitcoin's on a good journey. I am not sure if they are using Bitcoin in their daily life but, I am certain that some of them have invest in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

I am aware about Aston Kutcher and Elen have XRP in their pockets. AKON has been very vocal about Bitcoin and so is Twitter's CEO.

I did read some time last year that Bill Cosby has also invested heavily in Bitcoin to safeguard his assets but, doubt it.

I respect AKON so much for what he is trying to achieve. What a visionary. Let him show these shitty shitcoin projects how a real project is born. So glad there is some legitimacy added thanks to people like him.
We need decent coins with real-world value so people stop pouring their money into shitcoin based on nothing but greed and market hype and speculation when the truth is if you hold those tokens or coins you hold nothing but the speculation value. Here in my country, I don't remember anyone hodling and crypto not even Bitcoin.
The adoption could have  been growing exponentially if there were few celebs hodling it, because probably they're gonna boast their hodlings in whatever show they're included making it like promotion or advertisement to Bitcoin which is quite favorable for everybody here in crypto-space.

I don't know if what you have said is true but the possibility that's going to happen is very close. I don't know if celebrities used bitcoin for their transaction to something but what i do know is that some of them have had their own cryptocurrency to endorse. So i don't think they will endorse bitcoin though and your theory about of that mass adoption will depend on the people.

What he have said is really possible. Coz here in my country there are a lot of personalities and celebrities who uses bitcoin but not inside our country because bitcoin here is not yet legal and approve by the government. What I mean is they are using bitcoin for buying anything into other countries who uses cryptocurrency.

Yes, celebrities use bitcoin! Years ago I heard famous Bollywood actor Amitabh Bacchan did convert his money into Bitcoin! Many star sports players use crypto regularly, many were involved in ICOs advisor, ambassador and so on. I saw pewdipie supported a project called Sgame in 2018! So it is not a big deal! Few days ago I heard in news that the most popular actor in my country, Mr Amitabh Bachchan, he bought some bitcoins worth millions and later it grew and he gave some 20% tax on profit. I was happy that he did it in a country where anti crypto stances are still strong.

celebrities are mostly just a promotional event to introduce crypto to the outside community, and I think only a few artists who understand bitcoin. indeed in India the use of crypto is prohibited, I think if it is still done then it is an illegal activity, especially as an artist, of course, the government's attention to taxation

I think celebrities who knows about bitcoin does not only promote cryptocurrency just to introduce to the outside community because they are really interested to invest some of their profit to cryptocurrency. thats good to know if many artist , celebs and other controversial people that joins this world but the endoresment by them to bitcoin is not that appealing too much  . we cant say that bitcoin is booming if btc isnt present anywhere like on tv's and radios , etc  . btc still need some time to grow  . profit could be the reason on why wealthy people invest on it , we cant say they bought it for currency use because they themselves have credit cards and debit with boat loads of money that they can use anywhere more than btc  .

50cent is one of these celebrities that took bitcoin as payment and little did he know, he made millions out of it. And the latest that I've seen, not sure if it was an old post from Kardashians but it's bitcoin that they've posted. They will use bitcoin for their own purpose and they wouldn't advertise that for sure if the price keeps on pumping. It's a free publicity for bitcoin if these public figures and celebrities starts to advise people to have bitcoin.

I don't know, I'm not sure about this. Moreover, basically bitcoin is anonymous, so true users and investors who really use bitcoin according to its essence and functionality will definitely keep their identities a secret. It could be, famous celebrities with extraordinary wealth that also started investing in bitcoin but keep it a secret, it could also happen to world soccer players or other influencers. Of course, this only applies to those who are interested in the evolution of this economy and technology, especially as bitcoin has high volatility, not everyone likes it.

The role of public figures can indeed attract the potential for increasing crypto users without us knowing. With the high value of popularity, it will be easy as a public figure to get the attention of his followers. At least it can add more crypto users by just using the name. Few famous celebrities are very open about bitcoin. Everything nowadays is digital and some.of them wanna go join the latest mainstream. I just knew some famous icon in our country who even had launched his own token (Sen. And boxer Manny Pacquiao to be exact) and other famous reporter who owns a bar business which accepts btc payments.

We really can't deny the fact that the celebrities has a strong impact and good influencial factor to the community so I hope this may be an adoption source if more famous celebrities will gonna use btc.

i have read this on other thread and it really amazed me because if this happen,then the first Created city just for cryptocurrency only?a private city that will be run by pure crypto money and not Fiat?this will be historic in the crypto world for sure and with a famous celebrity of our time.


in my country only few celebrity has been opened up to the Public that they are involving in Crypto or holding currency but i have a  feeling that even our politician is engaging here because of their stand towards Cryptocurrencies,it seems that most of them are neutral and not bugging this community just like our Beloved President.
