Yes, Celebrities used Bitcoin i heard many times but i didn’t found any specific celebrities who adopt BTC. A lot of hollywood superstars using BTC and dollywood also. @Nargish Fakhri and @Shilpa Shety both of tweet in many time about btc. I didn’t see others any celebrity talking about cryptocurrency. Top rich Bollywood actor hold almost 300k$ worth of btc. I think all type of celebrities are using btc anonymously.

I think many celebrities to use Bitcoin ut most don't do it explicitly because of the stand of the government concerning it. Moreover, as an asset they may not want to disclose how much they own of it because of security purposes.

Just days ago, the famous rapper Akon has launched his own cryptocurrency coin, called Akoin. This aims to power an entire city that would run on his currency that would be called Akon City, somewhere near 2000-acre land on West Africa. Such feat and initiative might prove the world that cryptocurrency can actually be used as a currency, and not just a speculative asset to play with.

i have read this on other thread and it really amazed me because if this happen,then the first Created city just for cryptocurrency only?a private city that will be run by pure crypto money and not Fiat?this will be historic in the crypto world for sure and with a famous celebrity of our time.


in my country only few celebrity has been opened up to the Public that they are involving in Crypto or holding currency but i have a  feeling that even our politician is engaging here because of their stand towards Cryptocurrencies,it seems that most of them are neutral and not bugging this community just like our Beloved President.

I was amazed by his support and confidence using his own currency and building a new city, that too in Africa where crypto market is growing at a high speed. He should make this city a tourist hub and let the world know that it is sustainable and advantageous. I am sure that all the crypto lovers will visit it.

maybe that is also the target of AKON building this "Crypto City" because he know and he also believe that the future of african country can grow with the help of crypto and i hope there are other countries that also Build this kind of project because this is not only for today but for our family in future.we might not experience the mass adoption but for sure the next generation from us will do.

This is the first time i am hearing that Indian celebrities are holding bitcoin and promoting it are you sure they were promoting bitcoin or some token projects as they will do anything for money as advertisement . It's been 11 years since Bitcoin's inception, where it has become an extremely popular cryptocurrency used by people worldwide. Many governments, central banks, and even mainstream businesses and companies have become interested in grasping the benefits provided by Bitcoin's Blockchain technology. Not only in Philippines, but celebrities are always attractive figures for local people. People tend to adopt all the habits and activities of their favorite personalities. If famous celebrities will help the users in promoting the crypto market, it would be very beneficial. People will soon adopt the currency and it would promote the Bitcoin. The more users will be added, results in large number of transactions and that would lead to more increase in the price.

Celebrities as a single personas, with their personal brands - it's a great way to promote cryptocurrencies, but there are also other examples of crypto-related companies being promoted. For example you have sports sponsoring and there, crypto is really growing. I'm a huge fan of Wolverhampton Wanderers football team and their sleeve sponsor is CoinDeal, a cryptocurrency exchange. During home matches you can see their logotype on bands around the stadium. Imo huge sports organisations being sponored by crypto subjects can bring much more publicity than celebrities.

in the Philippines, it is clear that the government supports cryptocurrency, and even is included in the school curriculum. so that many celebrities, or officials, will use it, but not many will expose it. this is different from countries that have not legalized it, of course there will be a minimum of celebrities who use it, in my country celebrities save more money on property

Good to know that some celebrities are using bitcoin today because it would be a great help for us if they will promote or introduced it to their fans so that the crypto community grow more.
