The active tkoed loan is now overdue. The borrower has been in diligent contact with me and I do not believe is trying to "scam" in any way, but has had some setbacks making it impossible to stay current on the loan. I have offered options for restructuring the loan and have provided a 7 day cure period. If the loan is not brought up to date or restructured within 7 days I will be keeping the collateral and payments to date, as agreed.

After 7 additional days the loan was not brought up to date and we did not work out a restructuring (I proposed a few alternatives including one that only required a payment of about 0.1 BTC). Thus the loan has clearly defaulted and I have repossessed the miners. I don't think the guy was a scammer because he really got nothing good out of the deal and if he wanted to just back out he could have just disappeared but instead he sent me many PMs about the situation. I think he just had some bad luck in life and this didn't work out for him. Onward. Loan window is open. |

Not sure what that means but rapeghost sent me a loan proposal in PM that was several paragraphs long. I have been too busy to carefully review it so I must decline. As far as other loans, the loan window is open but I can only consider simple loan requests. Tell me in two lines how much you want to borrow and how the lender is going to be protected in terms of collateral. If it takes longer than to to explain it, you are better off approaching other lenders. |
