Last year they have a huge promotions using the platform Bountyhive and somehow it gain traction and popularity but after that nothing's new. Waves and even Steemit have same situation. No one really talking about it. I guess because their current plan is now being suppressed by most famous coin such as eth's POS blockchain hype and Binance rambling marketing strategy.

That's the issue of all non-ETH blockchain.
Most hype project were on ETH, all the other chains that offer tokenization/smart contracts are suffering from this.

However, some are very innovative. I'm really surprised by Neutrino on Waves (check my sign). It's the first project of this kind and I don't know if that's possible to make a fully decentralized stablecoin (that offer interest when the money is sleeping by LPoS) outside the Waves blockchain.

I'm trading on the Waves DEX since it's been released, and when I short or leave a market, I can get an fat insensitive by leasing my Neutrino.

But well, that's only an example. As said, ETH attracted most project with ERC-20.

Wave might be the hiding gem but it is rare to see anyone discussing it in the crypto space. The project team does not go an extra mind to bring the value and the potential of WAVE to the general public.

because the team didn't really fomo it was as good as the other coins. such as Binance, they created their own ecosystem with DEX, Binance Launhpad, BEP2, ... and they were really successful. Waves is a platform-driven coin but now inferior to Binance, which is why people are less interested in Waves.
This is the truth and the platform development coins are all seemingly dead now, the list I know is NEO, Waves. Although the coin is still heavily traded, its technology doesn't seem to offer any special features.

I think waves is no longer a big competitor of ethereum because they had been quiet for a long time. I don't hear any updates from sasha anymore or im not only updated. The price is keep on moving i don't expect it to be on top 10 place again only if they are going to push again its development and start making new customers and partners who will support and its blockchain.

Indeed, while other altcoins and ethereum are constantly updating and looking for opportunities to improve their positions in the market, the Waves still showed an incredible silence and seemed to no longer care about this race, it officially accepted to give up the game, I also don't really know the basic reason or the special reason for this situation.     Nice comment! I am a Waves holder, I'm leasing all my Waves coins for almost a year. I agree with you, Waves is a long-term
project, Waves doesn't need hype or sudden pumps, it has a long-term goal and I believe Waves will fulfill those goals in the
future. Until than we need to be patient and accumulate more Waves, my plan is to buy more!
   Daily trading volume of $73 millions is not bad at all. With that volume we know that Waves can make a huge progress, there's

I don't think so that WAVES will do better in the bull run, this project was a gem but nowadays they become a parody. Even the dead coins dot com listed WAVES in their list because of their present performance! Bull run can't help you if you lose the community by your disaster performance. There are many coins now, I don't think people will make WAVES a gem once again!

Wave did well back in 2017.That time they did many developments and price raised 0.75$ to 8$.After crypto crash waves crashed continuously and I didn’t see major development in last 2years.Though I don’t love waves,maybe they are trying to survive after huge dump.
