Adoption I think will build the use case of the altcoin. Right now it may nit have a usecase for you but when its accepted by casinos which it will have demands for its price to go up. Or it could also die if there are no casinos adopting it. Eth is already too big to fail. Its usecase is obvious. its struggling but I think the manipulation keep its price low. |

Short answer is No. It seems that even major altcoin like Ethereum still struggles with securing stores to be used Bitcoin is the only coin that you need to keep store of. With more merchants coming up with a pro-crypto attitude and more lenience from authorities to use crypto, being optimistic, they would without any doubt use bitcoin as the first option for taking payments. Now altcoins can be there but bitcoin will always be there. Hence altcoins can be a life saver when bitcoin network becomes congested but dont get me wrong here. Alts dont have anything worth investing in them. So use them with caution. If you local grocery store accepts bitcoin, use bitcoin. You will be much better off having to juggle a hundred alts than one which is the leader of all crypto, bitcoin. |

Just wanna try to tell you about this and from this list you can see the reviews from the assets that based on SEC regulation and it's really worth to be watched. https://www.cryptoratingcouncil.com/asset-ratingsDAI looks a very good altcoin as it has the same score as bitcoin. Just try to remind you if the asset gets less score and that means the altcoin is too far to be considered as security coin. If the asset has 1.00 score and it has a big chance to be considered as utility coin based on its use case |

I belief every single top ranked coins on CMC are ranked based on how good they are, you need to do research to understand what these coins do and why they are ranked up on CMC, we all know the reason why ETH is the number two on CMC, its because of its usefulness |

Unfortunately no altcoin has reached that level of use and adoption atleast uptill now but im still hopeful that eth will be massively used and adopted in coming years, it is not only a cryptocurrency but offers multi array of services and features that makes it unique and the need for the modern era.

At present the real use of all alts revolves only in their ecosystem or platform, such as ETH and BNB. Very different like the use of BTC, has broad adoption and simple examples that we often encounter that there are many online stores, marketplaces and other things that "accept Bitcoin". So in the case of real use Bitcoin is the most potential coin, because so far I have not seen or I've missed it (alt which is potentially and more feasible than Bitcoin right now).

I cannot remember anything about the product useful in our lives. Developers are most sensitive to the crypto community, so crypto related innovations are more common. And in this case, developers are always looking for improvement. But in real life, the situation is a bit different: Blockchain technology should be applied somewhere in real life then the developers transfer it to crypto. |

I cannot remember anything about the product useful in our lives. Developers are most sensitive to the crypto community, so crypto related innovations are more common. And in this case, developers are always looking for improvement. But in real life, the situation is a bit different: Blockchain technology should be applied somewhere in real life then the developers transfer it to crypto. Altcoins can always be applied on our basic live if a person knows the value of a certain crypto, just like being a trader of different crypto coins. With physical products, there's no specific idea to where it will be used for but all I believed was there were people who liked using it having transactions with same crypto users. This needs to be more developed in order that it would be implemented on our daily lives. |

Xrp if this will adopt by many bank around the world there will be more use cases in this coin.
ETH - you kNow many project now use this platform and not only that by sending any token you need to have eth for gas so this have also use cases . It will stop if people also stop using ethereum platform.

Most of the altcoins in the top list has got real time usages. Few of which in my view are EOS, XRP, TRX, Cardano, IOTA, DENT, ETH, and the list goes on. Different altcoin have different usage, in common they are all helpful in transactions. XRP particularly for banking support, IOTA on network development, DENT on Mobile Data Management needs around the world.

Their dapps is only limited in around cryptocurrency ecosystem, both of them have a scalability issue. So far I do not see any altcoin that has real use, and Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that works as a store of value. |

yes i know bitcoin is the main one but we also can't ignore alt they come with various new and interesting developments, maybe for the current payment bitcoin is the main, but in the next few years maybe alt can also be used as payment, just a problem just time.

Bitcoin's weakness is that transactions are a bit slow when compared to altcoin, which is just a few seconds the block has been confirmed quickly. But for now the only real use is on Bitcoin because of high scalability and more stable prices. and bitcoin can indeed store value without losing, even though the long term is in accordance with the facts. But do not underestimate the Alt some of them are also very potential, with the terms of regulation free of use and provide concepts that are easy to use, safe, unique or interesting. it's just that in my opinion it takes time.

The only one that come to my mind is Bat BAT is the native token of the Brave browser and has two main use cases: 1) You can use it to directly tip content creators through the brave browser 2) You can use it to buy ads, that are viewed by the users of the Brave browser. In case you don't know it, brave essentially blocks all the intrusive "mainstream" ads and replaces some of them with its own. Other than BAT, there's also STEEM which is the native token of the Steemit social network. The more steem you hodl the more your vote there is worth and hence you can use it to reward other content creators. That's the only two coins I can think off, that have some kind of real life use case. Still, they are miles away to anything close to mainstream adoption and every day use by the average joe. |

In my opinion, in the near future, the greatest potential will be accumulated by stable coins.
More precisely, their digital analogues of banking and state financial systems.

For now bitcoin is a choice for many people and many people who use bitcoin as payment as what you say and for altcoin themselves already have started using payments with altcoin and maybe every altcoin will always make updates to develop what they have and innovate or feature features that are not owned by other coins that can make it superior to others. |
