No i don't think so, what makes every other coins better than bitcoin is already available in many new altcoins and still yet they never took over bitcoin's crown, bitcoin will remain the mother of all coins forever During this time it seems like there is no other altcoin that can beat bitcoin. I see a lot of altcoins that are created only stop profit and do not have the desire to be able to beat bitcoin because it has become a difficult thing to be able to defeat bitcoin. |

They can try that's all they can do, after ten years with thousands of altcoins in the market, there are still no coins in the market that prove that they are the real threat to Bitcoin, although they have strong community and investors support, they cannot get pass Bitcoin and Bitcoin continues to dominate the big slice in the market and I don't see this changing in years. |

I think this is just a trust factor, where the world community or Crypto lovers trust Bitcoin more than Altcoin, even though Altcoin is present with various advanced features. Bitcoin remains the mother of all Crypto, but we are also thankful for the presence various kinds of Altcoin which can be an alternative for us in making transactions. It's not caused by the trust factor but when you are seeing the latest review from the legal perspective about the comparison between bitcoin and altcoin and you will know a lot of differences. Remember bitcoin can also be considered as the alternative for the gold and its utility coin on its blockchain. None controlled bitcoin makes it able to be compliance with the regulation while altcoin still stuck at the regulation and utility usage. it's much better to know the difference. I think " new " altcoin have small chance to pass bitcoin, in popularity and function bitcoin still the king. Develop old coin with various function is more better than take new idea because new still don't have powerful foundation to built brand/ trade mark. Old altcoin already have it and only need to become innovative and creative, find new idea and adopt it in their system. Altcoin still profitable but always under bitcoin reputation.

From a technical point of view? I don't see why not.
But from an adoption point of view? It is extremely difficult, next to impossible for any altcoin to eclipse the influence that bitcoin has over the crypto market, especially when it comes to actual usage. A lot of alts may be technologically superior, but they don't have the adoption base that BTC has and the first mover advantage.
It's a trade off for sure. Utility comes not only from the technology.

better in terms of adoption or price? maybe there are still innovations related to crypto in the future ,better with the current broad context still maintaining the existence of bitcoin and I still want to see bitcoin more successful in the wider community ,but also want to see new technology that can compete with bitcoin because of the competition sure will maintain prices

I don't think that we can expect the new altcoin that can be better than bitcoin because bitcoin is the leader in the cryptocurrency, and if that altcoin launched and it is better than bitcoin, bitcoin will not stay for a long time. That altcoin will take over the bitcoin position at the market, and the position will be changed. But I don't think that will happen, at least not occur in a short time because to invent the better altcoin, that coin needs to compete with the other existing altcoin. |

Theoretically it's possible for us to see a better coin that Bitcoin, why not? We are in digital era, technology is making progress every day, who knows what kind of computers we will have in next 20 years. But except technology you need some trust, and that is what bitcoin have, and what is hard to take from bitcoin.
If we learned something from crypto it's that we need to be open for new things, for new inventions. Why to get stuck in the past if we can have something better and faster?

Few altcoins are already better than bitcoin, in speed and better privacy but still these things aren't enough to get rid if bitcoin from its first place or sit, the community support of Bitcoin is huge maybe because its the first of its kind and that will be hard to beat

Actually both of them exist to complement each other, altcoin with different features that make it easier for us to make transactions and a number of other things and bitcoin that can be said is a reliable coin which is arguably the king of all coins. And for me both are equally good, who knows what will happen later but for myself I only focus on how I can continue to generate profits from this cryptocurrency. |
