As the subject goes, can we expect the newly developed Altcoin that can go beyond Bitcoin?
Why are people always thinking about creating or wishing that an Altcoin can go better beyond what Bitcoin can do for us. Mostly, people do keep on comparing those type of cryptocurrency that must not be because they do possess their own unique use and value for the daily lives of the people who believes in it. Also, what can we ask more for Bitcoin? It has already a wide range of usage and is the most popular and trusted cryptocurrency we can have in this industry. Instead of creating Altcoins that can go better than Bitcoin, why don't we just brainstorm on creating and generating ideas on how we can help the world to resolve its existing problems by using the modern technology to provide modern solutions in which we can use cryptocurrency. It can be possible to create such Altcoin but what will be the real essence of doing such when we already have Bitcoin that have wide range of usage and already existing Altcoins that can fill up those that cannot be catered by Bitcoin alone. If he was a newcomer and that's not a problem to talk about this caused by he was not aware of the fact. This can be seen from the various perspective as there is a lot of aspects that need to be considered before. Bitcoin and altcoin have their own advantages and some people may still think if altcoin can go beyond than bitcoin and for me, that's not a big problem. |

of course, it is not possible. there will be no altcoin that can gain more popularity than bitcoin itself. it is possible that if some kind of stablecoin will appears on the market that will be created by a large country, for example, China, it will be able to get capitalization higher than bitcoin, but I think that it will only be temporary because after some time people will stop using it and switch to bitcoin

it is very possible. And there are already better blockchain solutions. but bitcoin is the first and most known one and that is why bitcoin dominates all the market. |

I think almost every projects try to invent such the "the next bitcoin but all of them failed. There's no future in making a cryptocurrency project if it is totally centralized. It is beyond of what the bitcoin is doing in its entire existence. Nowadays is getting hard to make such projects without any approval of the government because scam was very rampant before. |

There will maybe a time that would to rapidly rise close to bitcoin. It could be possible but it should have to what it takes to be worthy of such high demand. It is so hard to say it so but the capacity of human to create those thing is unpredictable. Just for now, no one can, but maybe sooner or later on there will come a very rare idea worthy of getting so much attention that we cannot yet grasp for now. |

Why Not? It's possible and even everything is possible in this techno-based world, but at first, you need to focus on what features do you need and which perspective you are thinking better than Bitcoin, If you say about the faster platform then you may invent some other altcoin, if you think you are going to make a low fees based altcoin then it also possible but one thing you can't compare and invent that's familiarity, Bitcoin itself a brand on this cryptocurrency world, I think Nothing reaches the level of Bitcoin because it was the first stage of Blockchain and people knows actually cryptocurrency through Bitcoin.

XRP, for a minute you can already receive it from one wallet to another. Or is it in terms of lowering the transaction fee? We also have that now. But for the price, it's very uneasy for a new altcoin to rise for it to take over bitcoin in terms of price. Even eth standing for how many years, still not enough to take over the king.

The problem is - every new currency have to wait several years before it makes visible progress. But all that time in "queue" technologies of each currency gets older. And so by the time when currency is somewhere near top it is already loses to fresh ones, but still can't compete with the king |

Many developers are presenting new edits in the code to show that they have something better in their system than bitcoin but it take a high struggle for a project to reach to the level of bitcoin which I think is impossible that any other coin will attain. Many people have spend time in searching for bitcoin and many people worked hard to convince others to adopt bitcoin which I have not saw in any other community of any coin. |

I think if you are going to create an altcoin, it maybe can compete with bitcoin in terms of the transaction speed. But if you are going to compete against bitcoin price? That is kinda impossible. You need to gain a lot of investors first that will trust the coin that you have so that you can compete against bitcoin.

Better in terms of what? If in terms of transaction speed, yes, and we already have faster altcoins. If in terms of fees, yes, and we already have altcoins offering much lower fees. If in terms of anonymity, yes, and we have much more private altcoins. So in terms of scalability, privacy, and other features we have much better altcoins. But the face of crypto is Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the god of crypto. Bitcoin is trusted, used, accepted, owned, coveted, etc more than all the altcoins combined. What more can we ask for? This is ultimately complete and a strong currency for now, and even fiat cash couldn't overtake what legacy did bitcoin brought to us. Making bitcoin as God of crypto, can't be aligned to that but maybe I believed it was a father of crypto. If somebody can generate something that's more advantage beyond bitcoin's feature, I bet it's too difficult for him unless he is investing the entire saving he had and he should be one of the whales to establish an own cryptocurrency business. Bitcoin is not ultimately complete as what you've said. It is not the strongest currency because it is in fact more used not as a currency but as an asset or a store of value. Bitcoin needs to develop further for it to become a strong currency. But fundamentally, Bitcoin is already great and we are going to become a better currency someday. In cryptocurrency it can be said that bitcoin is the best among the others because we know that the features of dibitcoin are my trusted ones compared to altcoin. But this does not mean that altcoin is bad and there is no possibility for altcoin to overtake bitcoin, anything can happen later but for me for now bitcoin will be in the top position for a long time. Bitcoin has already been overtaken in terms of certain features but it cannot be overtaken absolutely because Bitcoin is the first decentralized cryptocurrency that this world see. It cannot be taken out from the throne simply because its features are already improved by a few altcoins. That will not happen. Bitcoin is the corner stone in the whole of crypto. And it is still developing so it is still improving until now. |

Maybe in terms of technology or transaction speed, there is altcoin that is able to rival Bitcoin but it's about investor confidence. Investor confidence in Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency market makes Bitcoin prices high and I think there might be an altcoin that rivals Bitcoin but it takes a long time to gain trust |

After ETH, BCH, BNB, and other altcoins are rumored to be passing bitcoin, I think the potential for other altcoins will emerge. until now the development for the sake of development continues to be done to make high-quality altcoin and be able to beat bitcoin. it's just that, I believe one thing that no altcoin will be able to surpass bitcoin, even most altcoins follow in the footsteps of bitcoin.

I think you have to be very specific with what you are asking. Om.what aspect should be the altcoin better than Botcoin? As for me, everything is possible in Cryptocurrency but still even the Altcoin is better than Bitcoin. Bitcoin will remain memorable because it is the mother of all cryptos and its popularity will never fade. When you think of Crypto then you will remember Bitcoin.

There are a lot of altcoins today that is better that bitcoin.
But the problem is that they are not the first and prime mover of crypto, that's why they are called alternative coins. So I have doubts that we can see coins that are going to topple bitcoin on top, specially regarding the price.

Bitcoins dominance is very high and it's development are more stronger and secure that's the reason it is considered as the "king". Yes in crypto anything can happen but it might take ages for a altcoin to beat BTC, because BTC was the first decentralised digital money and it's popularity is very high among the altcoins. BTC is still developing and coming up with new innovative ideas to grow more and more hence I will say no alts can beat BTC.

Better than bitcoin in what way exactly? I mean, in terms of transaction speeds we have a lot of other altcoins that is so much faster than bitcoin is. And also there are a lot of altcoins with a lower fees. But if one want to make altcoin that could possibly overtake bitcoin, well, I don't think that's possible. Not now at least. Even major alts cannot beat bitcoin in so many ways.

If w could think of the fact that market is a big circle of competition, we could analyze that there is already various altcoins created that mostly aims to surpass bitcoin but they end up falling to these circle of big competition. As a result, top altcoins such as XRP and ETH remains at the 2nd and 3rd just because they have the best capability to offer in the market. Too bad that Ethereum doesn't have a fix volume that makes it incapable of makings market price higher than bitcoin. Because mainly in economics, if the supply is infinite, we couldn't drive further the market price of Ethereum.

I don't think there can be a new altcoin that can surpass bitcoin. because altcoin has existed since a few years ago and there have been very many thousands of altcoin but in reality until now there has been no altcoin that can exceed the price of bitcoin. and currently the price of bitcoin is very expensive it will be very difficult to surpass the price of bitcoin.
