I am not that big fan of tennis but when the strongest players are playing I enjoy watching the games.By looking at the drawing I see two easy games for the two bigs of the tennis,I see both easy games for Nadal and Federer and I think the winner of Australian Open will be one of these two.

In the first quarter-final match I think Sandgren will come out all guns blazing against Federer. He has nothing to lose so should attack from the off but somewhere along the line Federer should be able to contain him and win in the match in straight sets or 3-1 at worst.

In the second quarter-final match where Djokovic plays Raonic, this will make an interesting watch. Would people really be surprised if Raonic defeats Djokovic? Not me.

In the other quarter-finals, I would not be surprised if Thiem defeats Nadal and after that Wawrinka defeats Zverev.

Here are my semi-final opinions:

I prefer Djokovic to challenge Nadal in the final. Federer is good but he's a little old. He will definitely be overwhelmed to face Djokovic later. Especially if I have to play more than 3 sets. Oh yeah, I don't really understand whether I will continue to look for 3 sets of wins? because all this time I saw this tournament looking for 3 sets of wins in the preliminary round.

Don't you misjudge Federer because we don't know what he could show off in the midst of the game. In fact his moves can really be appreciated in terms of quick targets upon playing the tennis. The performance won't be based on how we perceived on his age, but what's important here was the outcome on his different games and matches with selected great tennis players. I do hope that he's going to match up with different categories which can prove his capabilities even with his age.

Federer is like a fine wine, he gets better with age. I’d love to see him win a couple more Grand Slams before he retires. We’ve been so lucky to witness his career, one of the true greats.

Djokovic and Raonic's classic QF matches. This is one of the matches I'm looking forward to see as always because it seems that each one of these players already know how does the other one play given the countless times they have faced each other. Like those anime tennis games wherein the player can read the other player's minds, resulting into an endless rally until one gets the opening to score.

@akmal1984 there’s no doubt that Nadal vs Djokovic will be an epic match if it were to happen, but you cannot rule out Federer just because he’s aged. @aliman @DeathAngel Federer is old but his desire to win matches is yet strong, and if he continues at this rate then I wouldn’t be surprised if he wins one or two Grand Slams before he retires.

Sandgren played very well and how did not convert 7 match points, one on his serve and 6 on the Federer serve?

I have no idea how Federer managed to come from 2 sets to 1 down and make it to the semi-finals again while he was carrying an injury. Brilliant.

Djokovic is very strong in Australia.
I am a Federer fan and I hope that he is going to win against Nole and reach the final. If he overcome Djokovic then he has great chances to win the tournament against Nadal or Zverev.

I have never been familiar with Tennis and actually been playing Badminton instead-but I really think that the two have in common in something, and I guess in all the match-up that is in the quarterfinals I am more familiar with N. Djokovic and M. Raonic, And even though Raonic is suffering from his injury and loss of form his performance is not let him get this in his head and Raonic is good at serving so this can be his great asset in this match, But Djokovic even though isn't blessed with the same serving talents as Raonic he is one of the quickest players in the tour one of the tallest and strongest guys that I have seen and the two have recently clash on the previous Melbourne match where Raonic Lost, my prediction in this match will be,

Novak Djokovic winning in four sets.

It is hard to tell who will win between Federer and Djokovic. Both of them have beaten each other comfortably. I am Federer fan and believe in his game. The final would be interesting if it is between Rafa and Federer.

I was reminded of this tournament because of the act of kindness by Federer and Djokovic for a young fan. It's incredible that even if they are big stars in the tennis league, they still have the kind hearts that they do. Maybe that's why they were the ones who one their matchups recently, and they are going to face each other in the Semi-finals. I'm for Djokovic this time because he has won over four times more than Federer. I saw that it was 26 - 22 between them. Djokovic on the lead. Maybe that trend would still continue.

So now it means Zverev is the first of the 4 male players to reach the semi-finals.

Zverev managed to win Wawrinka with 3-1 sets, even that Waw won the first game on the match.
Now we expect Nadal to go over Thiem. It will be an interesting match as I think Thiem is very competitive on Australian Court.

Currently, Nadal and Thiem are playing. To my or to at least most tennis fans, it was a surprised as Thiem is leading 2-0 sets against Nadal. Now we are early in the 3rd set and Nadal is leading 2-1 and serving. I do hope that he can comeback in the 3rd and force a 4th or even 5th set clincher. So let's see how it goes.

I made an early bet for Zverev in this match in Australia 2020.



I will watch and wait for the 29th quarter-finals of the men's singles.

My hunch says Zverev Jr. will win tennis in Australia this time, with the title he got at the moment, no doubt.
Zverev is very professional tennis that exists today.
I will wait for the results on the 29th of this month in 2020.

So it was not my part, Like nobody, I also didn't think that Nadal would go lost before Semi-Final and It was a really outstanding performance from both Nadal and Thiem, especially Nadal has tried every aspect but he couldn't manage this game in his own way, whatever the case is, we can say that tennis has got another young talent, I hope Theim will go the final of this tournament but I wish to see Roger will win this Australian open 2020, hope to see another competitive match between Federer and Djokovic. if there will be no upset again then Federer will reach the final and ultimately he will be the winner.
