Federer is 40 years old
Nadal is 35 years old
Djokovic is 34 years old

Their time is coming to an end. I do see Nadal winning another grand slam except maybe one final chance at the final French Open. I do not see Federer winning another grand slam except maybe one final chance at Wimbledon and of course the US Open or Australian Open. As for Djokovic he will have several opportunities at trying winning all 4 majors but I think at most all 3 of them will end up with 21 grand slams each 

Well, we were both right... apart from the no surprises bit, that men's final was crazy! Does it count as a surprise coming back in the way that Rafa did there? For most players, yes, but for Rafa/Djokovic/Federer, actually not really that big a surprise!

I agree with you. The big 3 era is almost at its end. I don't think that Roger Federer will be able to get another GS as his form has dipped and so has his pace as he has gained a lot.

Nadal just won a tournament and maybe he'll be able to win another 1 or highest 2 at the moment. But Djokovic is still very fit and on top of his form so maybe we'll see another year or two of Djokovic domination.

Tennis is in a good place at the moment with younger players breaking through. Eventually when the Federer-Nadal-Djokovic era comes to an end tennis will find new superstars that is how the sport continues.

I agree with you. The big 3 era is almost at its end. I don't think that Roger Federer will be able to get another GS as his form has dipped and so has his pace as he has gained a lot.

A big! as we say "EnHoraBuena" Nadal. These three RF_RN_ND are going to continue taking Slam from this new generation that finally with Medvedev in the lead (this can create diatribes) appear as the next generation, this game was ... when a game involving these three greats is trivial , never.

Nadal not only played the final incredible, all AO was at a level that I think surprised, a return in such conditions was not expected.

The performance by Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open can be considered as one the greatest comebacks as i did not expect Rafael Nadal to win after loosing the first two rounds and it thought it was a matter of time Daniil Medvedev to win the tournament and sadly i cashed out my bet at a loss but then after an hour when i check back the game was still going and still i thought Daniil Medvedev would win but the 5th set was incredible and Rafael Nadal winning the marathon of almost 5 and half hours was incredible.

Tennis is in a good place at the moment with younger players breaking through. Eventually when the Federer-Nadal-Djokovic era comes to an end tennis will find new superstars that is how the sport continues.

We are watching the three greatest to ever play the game and there is no one that can replace them in the near future.

I hadn't fully watched a tennis match in years.
I am happy to have chosen this morning as my return to television.

Spectacular match, I cheered for Nadal obviously since he has always been something fabulous for me, the comeback was epic and this match will probably remain for many years in the memory of those who have seen him.

Immense Nadal and delighted with his Grand Slam record, he could have had many more if he had encountered fewer injuries during his career.

I wouldn't really agree with you.
Did you watch the final?
Nadal, although a much older tennis player than Medvedev, had a lot more physical strength in the final and looks much less tired than Medvedev.
I would say that the main reason for this big turnaround in the final is the fact that Medvedev has been left without strength and energy in the last 2 sets.
If he stays at this level, Nadal can surely win new GS tournaments for another two years, and the same goes for Djokovic.

I agree with you 

Let us not forget Nadal has suffered injuries throughout most of his career and Federer has suffered injuries in the latter part of his career. Djokovic too has had surgery in the past but I think it is reasonable to assume Federer will retire first, Nadal will retire second and Djokovic will retire third.

Hm, I wouldn't be so sure about that. It's certainly going to be tough for Roger Federer to win another Grand Slam. He surely has the best chance at Wimbledon, but even here it will be extremely difficult against the young, hungry players. Nadal will certainly win again in Paris, you can assume that. Depending on how long he stays fit, probably more than once. In my opinion, Novak Djokovic has the best chance of winning more titles. He will probably have a few more by the end of his career.

Yes, but regardless if their era is about to come to an end, Nadal has 21 Grand Slams already, Federer and Djokovic has 20. So that is already a testament of the longevity of the big 3.

And maybe Nadal can still snatch one in his favorite surface this year, and maybe Djokovic will get at least one of the remaining 2. Federer is already way past his prime and we don't know if he is going to make a comeback this year.

You could be right, maybe Djokovic will end up winning more grand slams than anyone else but right now it is Nadal who is standing out alone as winner of grand slam number 21.

Will Djokovic be allowed to play in the French Open if he has not been vaccinated? I think Federer is hoping to be ready for a return action for Wimbledon so there is still a lot for all to play for.

Hm, I wouldn't be so sure about that. It's certainly going to be tough for Roger Federer to win another Grand Slam. He surely has the best chance at Wimbledon, but even here it will be extremely difficult against the young, hungry players. Nadal will certainly win again in Paris, you can assume that. Depending on how long he stays fit, probably more than once. In my opinion, Novak Djokovic has the best chance of winning more titles. He will probably have a few more by the end of his career.
