How often do you gamble?

I started gambling in my life in around 2013, at that time I used to gamble to earn my daily expenses, to tell you the truth, I was addicted to gambling.
But after marriage, my life changed drastically, I got a job then got busy with family although at present I do not play as before but I have not quit gambling yet.
Yet I often go gambling with friends but now I don't gamble on the big risks just play on fixed cash games and sometimes play tournament poker games.
On the other hand, I think everyday in my life I'm gambling now and then. Even every decision in my life is a gamble. For instance, if you want to be a Crypto trader, every trade you make is a gamble for you, you might make a big profit out of it, you might even make big loss in it.

Sounds you now just gamble for fun.

That's the way to do it man.

Nobody is going to judge you for kicking back and relaxing by having a few games with the buddies, or even playing at your favorite online casino every once and a while.

The day is either lucky or unlucky

This is quite interesting, I think I can't do this man, I admit that I could gamble everyday but with limited number of hours only, gambling all day is just like focusing on a certain job where you are expecting a pay afterwards, in gambling is will not happen unless you have special talent.

We can play gambling every day, but we must know that we have to limit our money and time, so we don't use big money to play gambling. We don't have to risk the money for just playing gambling because playing gambling itself is not for making money. When we can realize that, we don't have to afraid to playing gambling but controlling ourselves will be an important thing that we need to do because without having control for ourselves, we can spend too big money without we can realize.

Playing everyday is not a problem but the biggest things that a player can't do in playing gambling is to play too much with spending more money like usinv the money that is need . As long as they can limit their money to be used in gambling, they don't have to worry about seeing their money running out. It’s very cool that marriage has changed your life and you actually quit gambling.
As for ordinary life decisions, I do not think it is right to equate them with gambling. The main difference is that in gambling you always have a negative mathematical expectation of winning. But in life, doing something we are more likely to make a profit than lose. The whole question is where to direct our efforts.

I don’t think anyone has yet found the perfect formula how luck works.I don’t think it has a correlation to how the normal day starts.It can start like a bad day in the morning and during your work hours but in the night you hit a jackpot.I don’t consider this an unlucky day if I hit a jackpot.

For some players it may have a correlation with various things, from the t-shirt they are wearing to how their day starts, but it is a mistake to build your betting strategy on the basis of such observations. As it is rightly pointed out in the famous phrase from the world of statistics, "correlation does not imply causation". 

While gambling too often can actually cause losing more money, paying attention to the so called "signals", such as how your gambling session starts etc., can neither improve the outcome, nor worsen it.

I usually gamble.

I play everyday, but not that frequent in a week. I can play 5 days in a week, sometimes I play whole week. I just play at those days not play the whole day. It is just a way to pass time since every time I am at home, I can't usually do things without opening up my PC and browse the internet and well, opening a tab of a gambling site.

you have a very nice life mate,staying at your house daily?and nothing to do just stay infront of PC?i wish i can have that life as i don't need to work and just playing but i have obligation for my family and i have to work to sustain their needs.

but i hope you dont spend all your money in gambling mate because you need to save for your self because not everyday we can have this living style.

You're mistaken.

I go home at 5, I can play but I am not really in front of my PC. I just let my bets on automatic, modify the settings for a strategy I want and just let it go on until I'm done to what I may be doing at the house. Though I stay in front of it for maybe 30 minutes to 1 hour after that, the boss will arrive at the house and I will not be able to be at that front since things can be thrown at you and that will be very dangerous.

Gambling once was one of my addiction but as I've grown up, I've to cover my daily expenditure. I once had lost over 3k$ gambling online so, I thought I'd give up that addiction and I'm sure to never get into that again.

I am not used in gambling because I know that is has nothing to give you besides of entertainment, but how will you get entertained if you lose your money, it is hard to win gambling, so you better stop it too, just like what I did, and now I can invest more because I do not play gamble anymore, the money that I will be going to use for bet has turned into investments, and that is really good for me, even though we are not sure that it will be profitable, I will wait for the right time that the bitcoin halving will happen, especially the inflation, so that my money will increase. You may also do it because the best way to earn money here is to investing or trading that is more profitable than gambling.

I don't gamble everyday and I can say that I'm still good being on that side. But, if I'm about to gamble everyday, I can manage myself and I can stop whenever I want. However, I don't want to confident that if that practice continues to happen everyday I might soon get addicted without noticing it.
Every addiction starts from telling ourselves being confident that we can control ourselves but it turns out that many can't once they're already attached into it.

Well said, Stopping from being addicted to gambling is such a good thing for everyone because you may now prioritize things and do more productive things compared to wasting money in the casino. I am really like that because I already stopped gambling because of my partner that limits me on that. Actually you can also do that if you know how to prioritize things if you know what things are better to spend your time and efforts.

I am not an active gambler but I used to play gamble before. i do gamble if I had an extra money for it because I am not into gamble since then I just want to try it. I can somehow limit myself from gambling not like other player out there that are having debts just ti gamble. This was not healthy at all and I dont like it to happen to me because it is hard to cure addiction once it starts.

That is the same with me too. I could gamble every day but it doesn't mean that I am focussing on it, I am spending most of the time in a day in my workplace, that is the reason I can rarely go to casinos and only spend some of my time in my phone or my PC gambling. Sometimes I couldn't even do that with the activities to be done that is part of your work but can't do inside the workplace.

Honestly, I am not into gambling because I dont have enough money to start it. Maybe if I will be given a chance I will try gambling but I will be more aware about the things that might happen if I am not responsible enough. If I will gamble, I will play just for fun but still I will be very happy if I win. First of all I think it is created in a way that it will let you to be stress free so I will do it just for fun.

I did try this one and my co-teachers really ashamed me in front of my students. It is not that I am gambling but I am just doing some bets to kill some time and I am so bored and that just happened. She did say sorry since she did not know what happened before that. After that, I did not think of ever opening them in school, my workplace, that is a bit of a trauma for me.

No problem, every gambler has their own purposes to play gambling. But I guess most gamblers are playing to get money. The fun or entertainment is just a bonus or additional benefit got from gambling. To be honest, when I play gambling, the main purpose is to win and earn money.

You should try hard to stop playing when you win because you already know that if you continue playing gambling, you will lose all of the money, and you already have that experience. So no matter you feel it is hard to stop, you must have an understanding in your mind that playing gambling will not always give more and more winning. Playing gambling needs control, especially if we win the games so we can stop playing and leave places. Perhaps, you should reduce your time in gambling slowly so you can stop playing for a while.

I support his way of gambling, and imo it doesn't matter much for him whether he's winning or losing. He's saying:

I gamble once in a while just for fun. ~

which means that earning money with gambling is not his goal. He's playing for the fun of it, and losing his balance doesn't hurt him the way it hurts people who can't easily afford losing their balance.

I think it's better for him(and for anyone) to get accustomed to losing a few bucks during their gambling session, instead of trying to make profits from this activity.
