Thats part of being a bounty hunters, you cant guarantee that all your effort will be paid off in the end and its the risk we have to take to be able to earn.

Sometimes even how good the project is there are times the team cant continue it anymore due to lack of support or short in budget especially the market is in bearish trend.

Truly the situation now is the opposite of the bounties before. If you want to make sure you'll gain some profit then you have to choose a campaign that pays in btc weekly.

Many of the developers or projects provide free token rewards with no value, the project is now mostly just bullshit even though it has been successful with sales, still when entering the market no value is the same as enriching yourself.
Hunters also have to be smart in dealing with this with escrow services. It will be more appealed to have a stake every week. There is no certainty how much can be obtained from the bounty or not at all.

There is no way to predict which bounty will pay you or not either they are looking so promising or not, the bounty project that pays me the highest reward was never promising, updates are so slow that many left the telegram channel, bounties are risky but sometimes they can worth the risk

why must stop promoting the project that we are following? we will never know whether the project we are participating in will pay or not because it is a risk of being a bounty hunter. of course prize hunters are not beggars but we just expect to be paid for the hard work we have been doing. if 20 projects that we follow but only 5 that pay it is not a problem because the bounty hunter will not lose money but only time.

Actually we cannot just stop promoting because we don't even know why it is really happens that you are promoting a projects and there are the payment that we are receiving is not enough for the work that we have done by promoting on it. I know that it is really hard to accept it but this is the reality in the world, sometimes we are not getting paid on what we intent to receive but if you love what are you doing then you will just accept it and find again ways to promote and earn also.

We need a factor that can push the bounty back in high demand by many people, we know that currently it can be said that project bounties are less profitable and investors have also lost the confidence to invest in new projects because most projects have failed and only wasted time. many projects end up not paying what the bounty hunters should get, which then makes new projects less desirable.

Your point doesn't count, i've joined bounty projects in the past that keep posting bounty hunters and they extend the bounty duration for extra three weeks as well but guess what? In the end it's all worth the wait, they list on a single exchange and i make good profit from the project, who can predict the outcome of any bounty project? No one

A good suggestion is to put the bounty pool with escrow so that each project cannot lie or not pay the bounty hunter, because after all if the participants work hard to promote the project to be successful and known by many investors. I think for now many projects don't pay even if they touch hardcap or softcap.

Well, from experience, some Bounties would not pay
While a larger percentage of Bounties that pay will bring up kyc and ridiculous terms before payment, then distribute peanuts to hunters.

It is hard to distinguish between paying Bounties and not paying Bounties because projects seem not to care.

The way forward is thus payment in usdt, btc or eth or stellar.

if the pay is not directly in the form of crypto that has good volume, then when promoting the project we bet on research and also time. so it is quite difficult to find projects that pay in the form of btc, most of them use their own coins which of course we are risking therein

Dont include hunters on their priority mate. Most project goals are to set their platform nice and easy. Actually bounty hunting isn't something that developer would give their attention too. Take for examples, those projects that promise to pay, if your believing on those shit talk then you already been scam.

This could be other way round as well i mean all yhe bounty hunters should unite and promote only projects who have seed cap reached in private or seed funding or have enough funds from some angel investors to continue the project regardless of result of ico. Or else all hunters should wait for project to reach soft cap before they start to promote it because all effort goes wasted if afterwards team declare that soft cap was not reached.

You are right, these people ruin themselves which is really not good for the bounty Hunters. Scammers are the one who bombarded the bounty project, even after they reach the hard cap and softcap they just pay for the investors and run without distributing the token to bounty Hunters. To be honest I worked for a project and finally I was not rewarded even a single penny after three months of hardwork, I have lost hope on bounty projects these days.

Nobody wants to work for free. But is the situation as easy as you said? I do not think so. Sometimes it is difficult to find a solution, even the bounty you trust may scam you. You can accomplish something if you act together. For example, create a group in telegram and share your ideas. Choose the most suitable one and join it.

OP has a point but I have promoted bounty project that doesn't met softcap and still they pay all bounty hunters without reducing the actual promised bounty allocation, many new developers are damn too greedy this days

Actually we cannot just stop promoting because we don't even know why it is really happens that you are promoting a projects and there are the payment that we are receiving is not enough for the work that we have done by promoting on it. I know that it is really hard to accept it but this is the reality in the world, sometimes we are not getting paid on what we intent to receive but if you love what are you doing then you will just accept it and find again ways to promote and earn also.

the fact that we will not want to do work without pay, but in this industry projects pay only with tokens they create and several other projects pay with bitcoin but the amount is very small for projects that pay with bitcoin. so the situation is difficult and sometimes we are also deceived because of misplaced promotion, and indeed we must accept this after choosing at the beginning.

The other day, I was seeing the ETH address of one of the bounty hunter who is active in almost every bounty campaign launched in last 2 years. To my surprise, his address had coins worth over $3000 and he had done over 300 transactions from his wallet (which I assume to worth another $5-6K). So in-total he has made $8-10K in last 2 year. He even shared a script through which he manages bounties. Now imagine being from third-world country and farming 5-6 such forum and twitter accounts. You can make $20-25K per year which is very sophisticated for third-world resident.

As far as we have such manipulators in bounty section, we can't expect situation to get any better. Projects are happy to have such members as participants while we the genuine ones have to suffer.
