Too many people criticize what they don't understand, they think bitcoin is over and never going to grow again or it's now too expensive and they use this to sell scam coin to the public. But bitcoin has proven time and times again that they are all wrong.
They are just judging bitcoin so early and more likely those people who are doing this are those who are beginners and doesn't have any experience on the real situation of dump of bitcoin that anytime that bitcoin dumps it is likely a soaring phoenix that is soaring high or pumping so high. Bitcoin already proven it's fluctuating side in which it really depends on the situation of market if it is good or bad. this probably will prove again that bitcoin is very strong enough to stand alone in all ages. experience makes us know information that has been experienced, and also will not easily believe in someone's perspective. so when there are comments about the price of bitcoin, then we already know that circulation continues to spin and we can take advantage of these price movements.

It's almost the same here guys, when I have introduced to the people who around me about the blockchain system and especially of Bitcoin then nothing came to me in an easy way, most of the people didn't even believe this invention for their own purpose, So I have heard from many people who have faced such type wired experience regarding this issue, forget about those faces, just hold on Bitcoin for another months and make money by this way and show those people how to make money and how to grab the opportunity for your own.
don't lose hope mate,if we are really here to help the Market then it is our way to encourage them and not just to walk away when they deny your prepositions, remember that there are tons of scams going in the internet so people might think this is another one but in time, when they found out that you are living from your gains here then their mind will change and ask you to teach them.

~ I sticked in campaigns (particularly weekly campaigns) and save as many bitcoin as possible. I wait patiently and I think $9k market price is quite profitable already. ~
That's right, but, please, don't sell all of your coins at once. I'm not trying to say that BTC will definitely go to it's new ATH in the nearest future, but it's quite possible that $12k will be crossed soon. I can understand that you may probably need the money right now, so, I would suggest you to cash out 20% or 30% of what you have, but not more than that. Then sell another part, but only after spending everything from the previous cash out.

There's a lot of other advantages to keeping quiet about your coins - you'll be less likely to get robbed, or attract unwanted attention from officials, and you won't have to experience your family and friends begging you for money once Bitcoin reaches moon, like it happens with lottery winners. Plus you won't be held responsible for any mistakes those people make if they will decide to start with Bitcoin because of you.

I am glad you stuck with it, when I nearly lost everything in 2018 that I had worked for in 2105-2018, I felt very sad and discouraged, but because I really believe in the decentralization movement and the power to create your destiny in a more creative economic setting, I stuck with it and am slowly crawling away from ground zero again. I also take my salary now in Bitcoin and when I get time, I trade as well. I think this year might be a better year from the last two I had. I nearly lost all my shirts as they say, but I won't give up either. Thank you for your encouraging post, good for others to see and take note.
These are some inspiring stories to hear. Really happy that you guys stuck in the ride and continued pursuing bitcoin despite the negativities that you have experienced. This is the best thing about setting up proper expectations when you're promoting or recommending bitcoin to people. If you haven't been in the impression that bitcoin's not a get-rich scheme there's no telling where we'll be at right now.

This is another great story that silences others criticisms of the bitcoin lover community in the world. I have heard of success stories where a friend of mine was considered a crazy person by others in the community because of bitcoin. But who would have thought, he managed to get what he wanted because of bitcoin, buy something he could never buy and change his lifestyle and improve economic status because of bitcoin. I know that bitcoin has brought huge changes in the economy of its community throughout the world, and this is a positive impact that can be enjoyed by the community and now I feel the same even though it is only a small percentage. But the thing that should always be our consideration is, the risks that exist in bitcoin. This applies to investment, trade and security. There are still many cases that occur, losses due to lack of knowledge and experience in investment and trading and losses due to lost or stolen assets and I think this is an issue that we should always consider as bitcoin users.

I guess that goes for everyone who went through 2018 and the start of 2019. Though you can't really blame people for being critical if they've seen how btc dropped drastically from ath. If i was someone who don't know much about btc, i'd pretty much be on the criticizing end as well. But it is how it is and we know what we're doing with our money so we make calculated risks. if you take the credit of success for yourself by saying you have adopted good strategies, you have ability to loose knowledge, do the same when you fail. The risks in the market are not surprise for you, you should better calculate the risks first in this way you will not be disappointed. This makes you more able to deal with the situation in a better way. I would also say that do not criticize on the market for its dumps that is the built in quality of Bitcoin.

~ I hope you learn something about my bitcoin experience. Thank you for reading.
You have learned life lessons that are very important and one thing I have learned from you is not to give up easily. I also received a lot of criticism when choosing to resign from my work in early 2018, and chose to focus on being a trader and bounty hunter. Criticism was enough to shake my decision, but this is my choice, I can more freely express myself in doing work as a freelancer. Of course, it is not easy because afterwards there has been a lot of downturn in the market and many bounty campaigns have scams, not in line with expectations like most successful bounties in 2017. However, I have persevered and are more selective, the proof is still very profitable. The key is to keep learning from mistakes and don't give up easily, and don't forget to be always grateful.

~~I also received a lot of criticism when choosing to resign from my work in early 2018, and chose to focus on being a trader and bounty hunter.~~
I guess the hardest criticism must come from family, not other people. And we cannot blame them to criticize because we know that they have good intentions. I bet most people think that it is too risky for you and have an unclear future. Correct? ~~Criticism was enough to shake my decision, but this is my choice, I can more freely express myself in doing work as a freelancer.~~
True. However, it is your own decision. And never regret that decision. Sometimes it won't be easy to face, especially in the beginning and with that condition in 2018. But finally, you see that crypto market is improving and the value of Bitcoin getting higher. You must have big profits if you bought your Bitcoin asset in 2018.

trading is for those who have much time
that is not true, trading can be adjusted to your time, if you are a busy person and don't have much time you can choose long term trading, You can trade once a week or even once a month, even the day traders can still trade even if they don't have much time, I am sure, there are no traders who trade every second unless they use trading bots. I think Debonaire217 was refering to daily trading as in people who trading when there is a small change in the market value of Bitcoin. And moreover, long term trading is usually referred to as long term investment rather than trading. For daily trading, you need huge amount of time in order to make some significant amount of profit.

Bitcoin in Silence? If you are too quiet, for an extended period of time, then people you know will think you gave up.
read the thread and not the topic. Well, some people are still yet to realize the potential of Bitcoin and besides, trading is not that hard as speculated here. if you cannot do daily, you can go long and close your chart without looking at it daily. I hope your experience will make them change their mind?
there are ways in investing here and what people referring as Risky and hard is the DayTrading because this is not so easy task and you can lose in time after time if you are not that great in analyzing and speculating. but your advice in the end is better,But coins let is sit in your wallet and just leave it there, dont think for that much and almost forget it like what the early adopters did.

You’re 100% right about this. This is something that a lot of people don’t know. If you’re into a business it should be between yourself and those that are into the same thing and believes, not people that are not.
There are people who has read about Bitcoin and the media has made them to believe that Bitcoin and other things cryptocurrency are scam, and has even given them strong reasons to believe such. So trying to convince such won’t work, they will try to even make you lose interest in cryptocurrency investment. Best for you to just believe and work in silence and let your result speak for you.

you must not care about what other people say about your crypto engagement because first it is not their money and time you are spending and risking ,second they don't really know what they are talking about and third?they are the one who will regret everything when time comes that success comes to your way and right after?let them see your profit to make them realized what they missed.

"ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE THINGS YOU CAN DO IS PAY ATTENTION TO THE WRONG PEOPLE" LOUBIS - AND - CHAMPAGNE
I can feel you man, yet the above quote got me last 2016, those were the time that ethereum is at $10, I listen to my friend who is a doctor. To cut the story short I didn't push through so I potentially lost a sum of money, yet still I am thankful that I am still here and still believing in this market, I know eventually I can hit what I truly deserve a good life for my family and get out of this rat race. I am very positive that we here at bitcointalk wanted to succeed not just for ourselves but most especially for those who we love.

Bitcoin in Silence? If you are too quiet, for an extended period of time, then people you know will think you gave up.
Being quite and silent while doing cryptocurrency and bitcoin related stuffs is what we need if the people surrounds you doesn't really care about what you are saying. Basically, instead of speaking to much about attracting these people, I've decided to work in silence and I let the output speaks what I want them to understand, and that is to tell them the value of cryptocurrency, and why people should take it as a big deal and change their way how they look upon it from the very first time. But considerably, if you are already have a good reputation, then why not use it to attract people with words right? Most of the time, we wonder why bitcoin isn't still adopted yet despite of the fact that people are getting rich already through bitcoin, in my opinion, the reason is because of the people misusing their capability to tell the truth and spread words about bitcoin. In particular, those that are mainly focusing on their personal interest.

Well, I would say that the other life lesson that maybe could be even more important is knowing when to give up. I'm not giving up on Bitcoin for sure, but if the worse scenario happens and some reason I can't think of happens that makes it worthless, I have to give up. And trading, I learnt very quickly to give up luckily because not only do I suck at it, I don't believe there are actually ANY good people at it.

It's base on their perspective but with our perspective. We just hate to argue with them or talk about it anymore because there's always the same answer that they'll throw to us. And that answer is an indirect assault to us because that's what they want to see, they want to see us struggle. But little did they know that we just chose to be quiet so that there's no more stressful arguments and we want to enjoy the every successful moving up of bitcoin quietly.

~ Well, I would say that the other life lesson that maybe could be even more important is knowing when to give up. ~
It has always been a big question for me personally. Some people gave up one year ago when the price went below $3,500, and now we can see that they weren't right in doing so. I can't imagine a scenario when I would give up, because it's either too early, like in the latter example, or it's too late, meaning that the price is so small that cashing out makes little sense.

to be honest trading is quite dificult if you don't have any knowledge. I agree with you that we don't need to tell and pushing people into bitcoin, just do what you do.
Pretty sure everything would be difficult without enough knowledge. People will become interested to something where money is involved, and Bitcoin is a bit difficult to understand If a person isn't interested in this technology in the first place. Anyway I disagree that trading is only for those who have so much money, you can do trading with small capital and if you are good in predicting the market then you'll get the profit.
Trading is for everyone. Small capital or big capital, but you will know the difference when you compare how much profit you earn when you're trading with a huge capital.

Your story is almost similar to mine. The first time I went into the crypto world, my parents did not believe it. And when I started making some money, they immediately supported me. That's when I got excited and until now crypto is still my choice in investing. And as you said, focus on our passion, and show what we can get.
actually it is me who don't believe bitcoin the first time i heard about this, when it was introduced to me by my uncle?i told him that don't get to close because it is scam, but after he shared his trading works and the profiting he have?also His wallet filled with Bitcoin and the conversion in our local money?i fell inlove and starts to learn and research.so after a month i entered this and bought my first Bitcoin and the following Bitcoin is those i earned from the campaign and Bounties.
