Yes, I believed that this is a marketing ploy for Binance.

As far as I can remember, they raised money when Notre Dame church was burned last April 2019.
And then their charity also donated $1 million to Australia Bush fire. So I'm not surprised by their so called "philantrophic" worked on the China problem (Coronavirus) epidemic right now.

Exactly, you understand what's on ground. Binance has been indulging in donations for nations hit by disasters lately, indirectly its great marketing. It's a good thing the donations are giving a good name to crypto 😎, hence we should encourage such moves by crypto projects. Soon other projects especially exchanges will join the movement.

Donations are great for image, maybe they want to draw more attention to their exchange. Anyway, Binance has enough money to help people and I am glad that crypto would be associated with good things, that are really helping.

CZ looks very smart to take the momentum to create a small promotion but at the same time it helps so many people too. This will make people will aware about crypto is not so bad as they think about that.

Binance actually helps a lot of people when it comes to calamity even as a top exchanger I don't expect them to help or donate so for me this is a good job for them!.

This Coronavirus in my opinion could affect a lot the bitcoin since its originated in China if the infected people increases overtime we could surely see the results of this, which is not a joke.
As a new virus we don't know how to cure this virus yet so this is not a good sign that this virus is already spreading around the world.

Binance was doing many social activities prior to this. They were giving food to African kids in school. People may argue this is just another strategy for promotions. But it's ofcourse better than other ways. Binance sending help to mainland China would also be symbolic as the Chinese regulations forced binance out of China.

Why not help with China faced corona virus because he come from China and not hard for helping his country, but if have other virus with other country maybe he never interested for helping with other country except China, I think many member from Binance maybe come from China and easy to help them.
