Yes, I have heard that news. I think they are doing it for their marketing purpose and I think it's okay.

Please stop thinking that way, they are doing this to help not to advertise, yes they are a business and this would help them for publicity but the main purpose is really to help, Binance has been doing this, they are actively giving donations when there's a crisis.

CZ_Binance deserved lots of love for he has done really great job. Binance always participated in such works, they making charity to donate a few millions dollar in various countries. Corona Virus already spreading in many countries, Wuhan (City of china) is highly affected over 2 hundreds of people's are died in entire of the country. I heard in Justin Sun twitter account TRON also want to donate some elements likes masks.

The huge money that CZ will be giving to the patients is a good way of advertising their exchange but to be honest, this isn't the one they really need right now.

What they need right now is masks, medicines to prevent it from spreading like alcohol and sanitizers, and what the people in Wuhan right now is our prayers . I think it would be better if CZ will just give masks not only on the people in Wuhan but to all the countries that already have a case of the coronavirus. We need it right now to be honest. Supplies of masks are depleting right now in a fast pace that most of the people can't get even one box even though there are some volunteers who are giving free masks.

Honestly, this is my first time to hear such kind of news. How generous CZ is, now I admire him more because in all fairness he don't got blinded by the greed of money. This is a solid proof that there are still big businessmen who doesn't forget to those people below (like Elon). I think this is really a great move for him because 1million is a small thing compared to the good feedbacks and stronger trust given by users of Binance. In short, it is a win-win situation .

Well, sad to say but we can't do anything about it. It's really up to them whether they help or not because we cannot push them to help if they don't want to . True helping is not a feel of obligation, it should be done from the bottom of your heart.

This is why Binance keeps on leading while other exchanges just follow, they are always looking for ways to make impacts in the world while others just stay and do nothing. Binance stays at the top and all others will keep doing is just to follow, because Binance keeps creating a name for itself and being recognized. People may argue this is just another strategy for promotions. But it's ofcourse better than other ways. Binance sending help to mainland China would also be symbolic as the Chinese regulations forced binance out of China.

Seriously, who even cares if it is a promotion that they are doing? Let it be a promotion, at least they are doing good with their promotion and that’s what we want. For binance to come out with thus idea was a perfect one and should be commended for such act. It may look like a good business strategy but, this mean a lot to

It must be a good thing from Biance, they deserve lots of appreciation from this community, but unlike many people predict I doubt that coronovirus  will impact Chinese economy, of course it will have "some" impact on it for a while and that is still an impact, hell we have seen the results of the impact already with the economical withdraw and even some nations trying to find manufacturers outside of China and all. However the people that said yes should be divided into two.

One has seen these impacts and imagine that will be a long term issue that will have consequences for a long time, and the other who saw these impacts and think that is about it and nothing more. I am one of the later where I think the impact is already there and that's it, I do not think that in year 2025 we will still be talking about this, that is not going to be a thing in just a year probably.

What makes you think that the fear of a coronovirus will provoke people to withdraw their funds. After all, this cataclysm of a different kind, not financial, people's assets do not fall in value.
