Well I feel the waves platform is a quiet underachieving blockchain who was hyped beyond its means

But waves has progressed lowkey basis, have a working dex and maintain its relative low value

Perhaps, it could spring a surprise in the near future, till then dyor and be teachable

I like waves especially because it allowes you to lease stake coins from your own wallet. This way you can use outside services to stake your coins for you without taking the risk of them having full control.
Once in a while we get a coin that manages to go the right way and actually find something innovative that can be used in the real world.

If you ask about Waves, I think this project has been very successful, you don't need to worry if you want to invest there. But if a third-party project uses the Waves platform, I think it's hard to get up.

I haven't heard any development on waves project. The hype has gone down and indeed this is a good platform but needs improvement also to see by investors that it is worth to invest. Hopefully, we will glimpse good news to hear on waves since I have also this coin until now in my wallet.

It seems that WAVES is a Russian project, and their project technicians are all Russians. They are not particularly familiar with this project. You can study it first. If the technical strength is good, you can consider buying some. This is actually a common tendency of each of the altcoins. Even we did not hear any news from the Etherum platform since a long time which made the investors have least faith in etherum but in the corner of our hearts, we all know that etherum is a potential coin.

The same situation goes on with waves. Waves is a potential platform and also I do think that the developers behind waves might surely perform some development which would again make the platform cherish and would give major benefits to the investors. This might not be an immediate development process and for sure it would take a lot of time so it is better to hold waves until we see any such great news about the platform rumoring in the markets.

Used to watch this project and got some Waves in my portfolio in 2017-2018, but now it seems they can't withstand this bear market and are nearly dying... They need  to create something new, some modern solutions to attract new investors.

actually, they already migrated their exchange to waves.exchange and not totally decentralised anymore. so something new for them. but i guess, they are not making any noises in the community. time to have bounty programs again?
their waves dex before had low volume, but even with the migration, i am not seeing a good improvement. only waves has good value but all the other assets under this network, almost inexistent!

this waves project still has a very good potential to be able to develop better because technological developments will always advance even though the waves still look like a normal platform and nothing is interesting but when the developer has got a good concept and idea so that it can trigger the price at the exchange and platform waves will be large, so do not judge bad waves because there is still potential that can happen someday.

because what I know when developing cryptocurrency technology that can be used for many people is not as easy as you think.

I used to have a huge amount of Waves back in 2017, I believe in this coin because it is so easy to create a token you only need two Waves to create one, compared to Ethereum where developers will charge you up to $100 for creating a token in Ethereum, and the platform lacks a lot features and sometimes lagging I sold all my waves back 2019 and never looked back.

I think you need to re evaluate your basic definition of shit project.

Because remaining in the top 100 itself is not a joke, secondly waves blockchain has grown in dire timea and bearish market and established their waves dex.

Mobile apps followed suit, i think they are growing at their own capable pace

It's not good as ethereum while ethereum has so many percetange of successful token that built in there and waves has nothing to do with its platform and more than 90% waves platform has flooded by the scam coins.
It's better to chose another project like ethereum rather than waves.  tachyon is much better
