Good for this coin, but this does not belong to the top 5 altcoins or top altcoins as its rank 492 per cmc.

I've seen a lot of coins that struggles like this, its long term is not quite good because this pumps big time in the past but now struggle to rise.
One reason is that it's has not enough volume and not listed in big exchanges

One month into the year we can see that if the trend continues it would create a huge bull run for altcoins. After analyzing my favorite tokens this would be the top 5 for this year.

- NEO: they might officially get the Chinese government on board on the whole blockchain bandwagon and capture most of the Asian market by 2020. China is going all-in to crypto and neo is already the favorite crypto "alt" asset there
- ETHEREUM: New Ethereum 2.0 can be a huge deal-breaker. With the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance, numerous strong partners and global corporations stand behind the project
- CHAINLINK: In 2020, the topic of getting external data into the blockchain will become even more important. With its Oracle technology, Chainlink can take the leading spot.
- NEWSCRYPTO: Just from the fact that they burn 20% tokens for every membership, and their brand recognition and userbase started increasing by huge amounts its a sin to not hold newscrypto coins.
- FABRK: the concept idea with the support the project is getting at the end of 2019 shows that the will become one of the mainstream crypto projects by the end of 2020 easy!

Definitely the 2 im looking mainly for a major good price appreciate in the 2020
The rise of defi are actually boosting this 2 coins price especially the Q4 of 2019 and Q1 of 2020

Although price has went south a little bit but i certainly believe that it is just the matter of time where Chainlink could hit $10

Good point, while the market is falling it's best to convert your assets to usd while waiting for the dip, when you are satisfied with how the market go
then buy back and so you can benefits once the market recovers and rise high.
Timing is very important, top 5 quality projects are best when bullish movements is bringing positive trend.

if you now do what you say it will certainly have an impact also because if you want to convert the current price to $, because the price of coins is down. then it can be ascertained that what is received will be small and when the coin rises it will ultimately have a loss. the most important thing is to keep holding coins that you believe are still good, for example maybe the best top 5 on CMC. need patience in experiencing times like this, do not just add losses.

Almost 50% of my portfolio consists of Ethereum and therefore I physically cannot even afford to hope for a potential price increase for other cryptocurrencies.  Of course, I also expect good results from Ripples, Tron and Stellar, but I had to get rid of Waves and EOS because I doubt their prospects in the future.

Sometime is better to just blindly hold, because there is allot of manipulations on market today...

It doesn't look like it anymore, Coronavirus has ruined this year market and for recovery it's going to take months, although NEO is extremely cheap right now and it's a good time to buy but buyers will have to hold for long term

ETH is a expensive asset in crypto right now the price is trading with a bearish angle which is down by 50% compared to last month price, any further losses could spark a panic sell. ETH is facing some serious hurdles from the past two weeks if the price manages to recover more than 150$ I assume like bulls are like to aim test. If ETH trend continues smoothly other alts will follow the same.

To be fair, there were plenty of coins that worked their way out of obscurity before they broke out. No one cares about a coin until way after it breaks out. XSN is definitely one of those coins. 
They spent their money developing their network instead of bribing big exchanges. I think they will do especially well.

Dont take it negatively even there's no bull run for this year because its not the end for crypto.

Plus we are still in the first quarter so dont lose hope yet, there are many things to look forward that can change the movement of the market.

all crypto coins are currently red, but they are not trying to move towards improvement. I agree with you if there is enough capital is the right time to buy, but still with a reliable coin. ethereum, BNB, LTC or the ten best ranks in CMC can be recommended.

I am very happy to see market conditions that have begun to recover, and in my opinion the top 5 altcoins in 2020. Must choose coins with
fundamentals are strong, so when there is a fairly severe dump like what happened the last few days it can recover quickly. The choice of
altcoins in the opening post is good enough in my opinion, but I don't agree with NewsCrypto and Fabrk. Because both of them after
I analyzed the fundamentals were very weak and also the developers were less active. So for me it will avoid invest in the two tokens.

top 5 altcoins for me are..

Ethereum -of course as the next to bitcoin when Bull comes.

Litecoin- even this currency seems to be fading from being top 3 yet i believe that there is a future for this one in Bull

Ripple- this centralized currency(as what they call) is very promising and have shown how many Pump in past

Neo- a chinese Ethereum that says to be sleeping Dragon.

Binance- the fastest running Exchange and coins as well.
