Focus on blue chip projects which has big volume even though they have low marketcap. Sometime in order to win big on trading, you just need to focus on finding this hidden gem. The technique here is look for low supply coin that has considerable volume and also pick a project listed on big exchange.

Liquidity is important if your planning to invest with new altcoins. If youre joining bounty and airdrop campaigns then sell it off if the value is good dont retain it on your wallet if the abovementioend criteria is lack on their project.

If you must hold altcoin because they always bring better profits do not go too deep and make sure your altcoins are top altcoins

I just don't agree with " must hold " because this method is very risky and all people have good psychology when down trend in long term period. Popular coins ( bitcoin, eth, xrp ) still become favorite in every activity but with many correction this time " hold " become useless. Even many people say market in green zone but halving will break all prediction, split will reduce value and volume will goes down without announcement.

Bitcoin should be your highest allocation on your portfolio no matter what. It is the lesser risk on all of cryptocurrency, if it doesnt gonna go mainstream then all altcoins would follow. But its much better to diversify your portofolio by owning some top altcoins, I wouldn't prefer the new one as the risk is so high.

Actually it is risky to buy even those old ones like XRP or LTC, because they are falling for a long time now.

Try to invest with top coins like BTC Bitcoin , Ethereum , TRX- TRON, Doge, try to avoid new project until market stabilized, do some good research if you vow to invest in new project !

One thing is certain though, if Ethereum can surge back to its all time high of 2017 many tokens will surge in value as well, we have good new projects in crypto space and we shouldn't be too scared of these new projects if we can do better research on them, new projects are meants to provide better version and features than old projects

Cheap altcoins can still bring huge profits, for example Hologen (HOT) project that's been around for two years now and still very cheap, Tron is a top altcoin and still very cheap as well, these coins can bring better profits because of their use cases, if you can do some research you will find better coins

If ever you have the ability to choose a real and scam project than you would never have much risk by investing in newly launched projects. Newly launched projects have the ability to make a quick move and some of those projects might even have 5x to 10x of their price the same day they would launched on any of the exchanges so investing in such projects would make you gain higher profits.

Moreover, this year seems to be a altcoin year where major altcoins as well as newly launched coins might have a sudden pump so it might be better for us to keep our hands on some of the top projects for this year to not miss the bull runs. Investing in top 5 coins from the coinmarketcap might perhaps be a must for the coming bull runs but also diversifying some of our investments in newly launched projects might seem profitable.

This year might be a best year for altcoins so knowing the matter of risk a lot of investors and traders already have accumulated onto some major altcoins. We already were in dip and now the markets have started showing a significant growth so we can expect the prices to hike sooner. I rarely invest in altcoins especially new projects for fear of dumping and returning to recover for too long, I'd better invest in bitcoin which obviously prices always go up. I now only hold a few altcoins that I got from the bounty campaign that I joined a long time ago and still hope if they make a big profit

For me it is better to invest on the one who is bringing larger network adoption. And yes it was bitcoin. I am not saying that Bitcoin will surely hit a bull run but the thing is that it is safe to invest on something that is familiar to everybody and brings mass support compared to other alts that has much lower network.

I agree with everyone that we should focus on investing into top coins that are more trusted and we know what they are doing, all the other smaller ones that are uncertain and not guaranteed are going to be extra risk that we should not try to take on since even the top coins are very risky stuff but at least have a higher chance of being loved by the community and do better. For example bitcoin has dropped a ton since the all time high price right?

But it is only 50% down now, but looking at other coins there is literally 90%+ dropped coins which would require a ton more profit to recover. In the end putting money to top of the top coins would guarantee you not losing as much as the smaller ones, maybe not going to make 100x neither but at least not gonna lose 90%+ neither.

FInd a true decentralized and a developing project no matter what the market cap is and then just HODL!

Probably hard to find a project any more decentralized than BLOCK. So keep an eye on this one fellas. Been on the run as of lately, pretty much because the devs keep delivering, and people seem to wake up to the fact that you can earn a TON of money off decentralized trading fees in the very near future.

Haven't seen so much talk about decentralization before, but it's without a doubt the future. DEFI is enough proof of that alone.

I am not really into altcoin as of now. You must always consider the events that is coming before you are going to invest in a specific coin. Instead of investing in altcoins, why not invest on bitcoin? It will for surely going to make your money triple after the halving. We all know that it will for surely gonna rise up because it will lessen the supply by half.

one of the main reasons there is a percentage of the profit that can be obtained if premises with little capital if we invest in bitcoin. we know the price of bitcoin is very expensive if we buy it with a small capital I think the profit we can get is also very small. although we can see the graph of bitcoin trading continues to increase. when we have big capital of course bitcoin is the best choice and the fastest way to get profit.
