Well, I don't think you should compare 2017 and 2018 to the present time, but I think you should start all over, look for good projects and promote you could be lucky to earn some cash, even this year people  are already earning  so get started but make sure to do some research  before  starting.

As of the moment, there are just a few bounty projects that I can say payable or legibly paying for the same thing which we all do way back 2017 and 2018 which incorporate the advertising strategy of promoting a project through any social media platforms to gain the public's attention that such project do exist because many have thinked that there are already no projects that exist because of the past issues that involves many projects and bounty work. As of the moment, those bounty campaign that are profitable do mostly came from weekly campaigns which is good because even the reward per week is not that big, at least it is enough to sustain weekly needs which is one of the mane reason why people mostly get engaged into such projects which is to earn money for good. Well, now even bounties can be just found into weekly campaigns, it is still good to know that we can still earn from bounty. The challenge is that you really need to seek and search for a good project that offers bounty works which is legible and payable.

It is true that we do bounty mainly for profit. Since we are experiencing bear season and we barely have profits on what we do in supporting a project.  I say that if we really want to support a project then we should not expect that much and we should continue what we ought to do. Don't stop but don't just focus on Bounties, try to learn some areas in Crypto that will somehow give you extra income or develop some of your skills. It is a win-win choice for you. May you could see that this year is grateful to everyone since we are started at high and continuously moving high. But the drama that bounty hunters are suffering from to find legit and paying bounties is still the same. You can't end up this scheme because there are no strict regulations that stopping scammers to create a project and used people to promote this. And no wonder why that many members here are also taking the risk of promoting their project because of big rewards as they've promise but this is just false promises and the sad thing is that they'll get nothing from their hard works.

Yeah, it was difficult to find bounty that can give assurance to the participants and we could end up nothing once the campaign is over.
Though it looks like this and the sentiment of many bounty participants are discouraging but it never made me think like that coz I know there are still a lot of projects that could give what we are expected just like the project that I am promoted by now. The forum is filled with users complaining about not being able to earn anything from those bounty projects. You should have just gone through the forum before wasting your valuable time on these bounty projects. Most of them end up being scammed, or even if they are legit paying their users, the tokens don't carry much of a value. Thus, the time you would be spending on those projects wouldn't be worth it at all. Try doing something else more better rather then spending your time on these bounty projects.

If you only join a social media campaign that is indeed very few because for the time being there are a lot of social media participants, maybe the bounty manager should limit the participants to each campaign so this does not happen. Another factor is price of tokens/coins that dump when listing in the market.

Yes still earning. Bounty campaign nowadays seems to be degraded and obviously has been lower after the bull run. 2017 is thr fruitful days for bounty campaign. Scam projects are still here and even bounties that pays rewards have no value to be happy about, it's still all about how lucky one can get, bounties is all about trying a project after the other out till you get good results, not good for those who get tired of 'waiting games' easily

if you want something safe, working with paid bitcoin is a very risky thing, rather than following the bounty now. however, I still have strong feelings for it. that is, even though the bounty is not like in 2017, but I am still so sure that the bounty is still quite valuable now. I will say yes, because perhaps i have been opportuned to participate in rewarding bounty campaigns.
And i wouldn't say its down to luck, its down to persistent and steadfast to find bounties to apply within, and then the luck to get chosen.

The situation at this time is that, it is hard to find rewarding projects, but there are available if only we can find.

The situation in 2017 certainly cannot be compared with 2019 let alone 2020. In 2019 and 2020 the market conditions are still not good and in my opinion this year has started to show good development. In addition, in 2019 and 2020 there are not many good projects that have a bounty program, so many bounty hunters choose to take a break

A very good fortune for you, because last year there were many bounties that did not produce, only a few that could make even a little money, the point is you happen to be in a bounty that is very precise, so that makes you lucky.
