Tether has the protection of bank assets so it won't fall apart easily. Compared to other stable coins, Tether has many audit-related scandals and they have passed. I think Tether is still very trustworthy and I love tether like many other traders.
I will say that I only trust this stablecoin. As you said, there were many scandals around them and I like it. they were be able to prove that they can really be in this market and honestly do their job |

To believe it or not, of course I personally still believe in Tether. However we don't believe in this stable coin, people still use it. Right now we have a lot of stable coins. And what's better than all of them is Tether, which is still reliable compared to other stable coins.

Only those who embezzling money will have problem using a centralized stablecoin like USDT because their money can be freeze, if you are the type and you don't want this to happen it's better to use decentralized stable coins

stable coins such as USDT or often called Tetherr are coins that have a fixed investment value. I mean stable at a fixed price and this coin is often used by users to convert your currency when trading. I personally use this stable coin for necessity and not for long term investment.

I am not sure that Tether can freeze your funds when USDT is on your personal wallet. This may be a feature of their smart contract, but I haven't heard about freezing money yet! About the decentralized stablecoins - so far they have less trust than USDT... |

I trust it, it's a good substitute for the dollar, it's good for trading, for holding your capital stable while the prices are dropping. It's a stable coin and for that it's good, for investing and holding just USDT there's no point in that, it's like you are saving dollars, and we are here for the cryptocurrencies, not for fiat and cash.

USDT is one of the most reliable stable coins in the crypto market. But I think it is not worth for a long-term investment because it will not give you a much huger profit, since it is a stable coin. But it is good to buy it if we are experiencing a bear market and to minimize the volatility of the price of it. |

So far I have trusted USDT because I can secure my assets from high price fluctuations, because a stable USDT price is unlikely to go down much.
It would never even go down without FUD, besides that USDT is the biggest stablecoin in this market and it is very safe for us to use every time the market crashes. I have also been using USDT for more than 3 years and have never had any problems with it I can agree with you, USDT has one of the biggest stable coin in the market and that's why many people have trust on it. Many people daily trade with USDT and make a sufficient amount of profit. |

The issue is not about volatility or ease of use. The issue with USDT is whether we can trust the team. The backup funds are being held by the promoters (Bitfinex exchange), and they don't have a very good reputation. And in the world of cryptocurrency, it is foolish to trust the exchanges. We have seen a lot of the reputable exchanges going down all of a sudden, starting with Mt Gox in 2014. I would just say that you can use USDT for trading, but it will be risky to hold your wealth in the form of Tether for a long duration. |

Do you trust USDT or believe it might be a scam?
How i can say CMC number 3 position coin scam? Tether (USDT) is issued on the Omni, TRON, and ETH blockchains. I think the time is over now for that we can say USDT is scam coin. I made some transaction also with USDT by believing strongly. Yes, there somebody missed to USD and USDT but i think claver traders or investors must know about it and as a stable coin i think USDT future is very bright. thanks. |

Of course all of them who taking negative about usdt, are not telling a lie! So it makes me confused about usdt whether i should trust it or not. But i didn't have any Trouble with it. Crypto industry is in bad condition after the bitcoin lost its price. Now usdt has stirred the industry by offering more stability in a volatile market, can safe crypto from price fluctuations.
